Love this but not worth the money
I FREAKING LOVE THIS SWIMSUIT. I'm a 32 BI got it in a medium and it fits nicely. It's so hard for me to find a top that flatters my frame. Sadly, it completely faded after wearing it ONCE! It's now this ugly greyish shade and it's two different colors now. I'm so upset.
Cute suit, but doesn't last
I bought this suit in the middle of the summer- I really like how it looks, and the material is very soft! The only thing is after 3-4 times wearing it, I noticed part of the seem coming unraveled by the strap. I'm pretty disappointed, because it looks like the suit won't last as long as I would've liked. Especially considering how much I like it and how much I spent on it, I wish that it was more durable.
LOVE but size up!!!
First off, this bikini top runs VERY small. Size up!!! I'm pretty flat (34b) and the M is just the right amount of skimpy. If I had boobs any bigger, it would be way too small. But second, this top is beautiful! It's flirty and unique. I got the 'snob' color and it is even more gorgeous in person! I highly recommend. It took me a few minutes to put it on at first, but I quickly got the hang of it.
I got this top in black and I think it's so adorable I want to get it in other colors! It ties around the neck and then wraps in the front and ties in the back. I'm a 32B and I purchased the small. It does fit a bit tight if you're looking to have conservative chest coverage. It feels secure but if you're any bigger, I would size up.
sizing on this
I first tried the large and it had adequate coverage for B but would work better on a 38in chest for all the fabric it had, so I tried the medium and it was still adequate coverage and better overall fit. The small might even work but likely won't try it. The difference in the cup areas for coverage is only about 3/8in or 4mm. The tighter you tie both ties the better it fits. So I tie it on once, then retie both ties even tighter.
I thought about ordering this forever, finally did and was so disappointed. I was excited to get it, but when I tried it on it was extremely small and uncomfortable. Not only that, but it was really unflattering to the chest. The material was also very thin and needs a better lining.
how is this the right size?
I ordered this top in hopes that unlike the FP bralettes, that I would be able to fit into a L because I could tie this way tighter (the bralette L fits in the cup, but is far too big in the band) but to my surprise this top is ridiculous! I'm a 34D and the L honestly looked like a small or x-small. Wasn't really even sure where I was supposed to fit in it at all. Returning immediately. Bummer!
really great fit!
i really love this swimsuit top! took it to africa and it held up amazingly! cant wait till next summer and go to the beach more! it shows off my curves well. i haven't gone bra shopping instore lately but last time i bought a 34C and i have lost a lot of upper body weight since then so i got a small and it fits great! will be buying similar swim suit tops from FP in the future!
I WANT THIS IN EVERY COLOUR
I'll be the first to say this: I have small breasts. So, this bikini top really isn't that much of a problem for me. The XS covers about as much as I'd expect an extra small bikini to cover. This isn't for you if you're afraid of a little bikini cleavage. Its comfortable, colorful, and (most importantly) stayed put while surfing. I bought the purple color and its the same as pictured.
great top, if you don't have boobs
I was soooo looking forward to this bathing suite top. Even when I got it out of the bag, the material is thick- and really well put together. The cut is so stinkin cute! However- I am a 5'3 and 128 lbs- my bra runs as 32D- a large typically fits me just fine. This suite however, not so much- it hardly covered up half of a boob- and not in a classy side boob kinda way. I was really bumbed- I know FP doesn't have a ton for the curvy type- but really a L?! Wish it was either true to size, or would be made to fit normal girls too!
