When In Doubt, Gift A Sweater…

Conventional gift? We think not…
There are some gifts that feel…well, sort of bland at first thought. Socks. Soap. (Though, there is absolutely no wrong answer when it comes to gifting!) But, I can assure you that one of the Free People pieces that I still covet, over 10 years since I purchased it, is a sweater. I don’t remember the name, but it’s a navy blue cotton/wool cardi, with a cowl neck when zipped and whipstitched elbow patches.
Besides those thoughtful details (and pinstriped lining, to boot), my cardigan ultimately does what a sweater ought to – keeps me warm and cozy.
For as long as I’ve known Free People, I’ve always admired the creativity and craftsmanship that our designers weave into our sweater assortment. So, if you’re stuck on what to buy this season (either for yourself or a loved one), fear not the sweater. I can’t envision an outfit where it doesn’t belong. The Phoebe is a little more forgiving in shape and volume. Perfect for someone with an easy-breezy personality, who values comfort in their styling. The Rhea V’s modern, cropped silhouette makes for fun layering. But also gives off a sensual feel when worn with a peekaboo bra, or nothing at all.
