How has your idea of "home" changed this year? How has it remained the same?

Home has been many different places for us this year... We were in NYC for the birth of our son, Jones, in LBI (Long Beach Island) all of quarantine and finally back in LA to finish up our house remodel. Despite the changing locations, as long as I’m with my boys I feel at home!

3 things that you love most about your (new) home:

1. Matt and I never had a proper honeymoon, so buying our first house together really gave us the feeling of starting a life together!
2. Love our outdoor space! I’ve always dreamed of having outdoor space to entertain! I can’t wait till we can finally invite friends over!
3. My closet/office! It’s the closet of my dreams!

Do you have a go-to outfit when you're at home? If so, what? And why do you love it?

At home, being comfy is a must! Matching knit sets and soft layers are my favorite. We have concrete floors so socks and slippers are a must!

Any easy go-to styling tips you can share with new moms?

Matching sets make getting dressed super easy! I also love to style out looks ahead of time, so when I’m in rush I have an outfit ready to go!

What is the greatest lesson that your son, Jones, has taught you?

Being a mom makes you realize you are not in control! Best to go with the flow and enjoy the ride!

Advice for making cozy fashionable?

It’s all about proportion! Want to wear an oversized top? Pair with something tighter on bottom, and vice versa. Also, creating a waist can make a huge difference! It can be as simple as a half tuck in front or a layer knit around the waist!
