50 minutes. That’s how long a Barry’s class takes.

Through all the sweat, intensity, and perseverance, it can be easy to forget about what comes next: the calm after the storm, the feeling of pride that sinks in once the work is done, the 51st minute. FP Movement has teamed up with Barry’s, a high-intensity fitness destination known for its 50-minute classes that combine treadmill cardio with strength training, to showcase that post-workout glow and focus on the why behind the workout.

Whether you’re looking to push limits or build connections, our exclusive capsule collection features select styles to support you from minute 1 to minute 51 (and every minute after).

That 51st Minute Feeling

We got to chat with a few Barry’s instructors and class attendees about how they experience the pride, passion, and post-sweat glow that comes with completing a high-intensity Barry’s class and embracing that 51st minute feeling.

How do you feel in those first cool-down moments after a workout - the 51st minute?

“Accomplished. Energized and proud of myself! Also ready to chat with my classmates. There’s something about that first minute where you look around and want to connect with the people who just went through it with you.”
- Alissa, Barry’s Instructor

“I immediately feel a sense of relief, followed quickly by a sense of accomplishment and joy. There truly is no better feeling than knowing you've successfully completed a workout (for me, it's in the morning) and then having your whole day ahead of you.“
- Hannah, Barry’s Class Attendee

“Nothing feels better than knowing you put the work in. You invested the time and energy to reach your goal and just soaking up all that amazing energy. It does so much for the soul.”
- Jordaan, Barry’s Instructor

“Extremely accomplished and of course a little winded. I’d call it ‘Sweaty with a smile.’ A feeling where it was so hard and I feel exhausted, but I’m proud of myself for showing up.”
- Maddi, Barry’s Class Attendee

“It’s in that moment where I’m like “Okay I survived that”. My heart rate drops, I can breathe again, and then there is this little wave of pride because I just did something really hard.”
- Tashi, Barry’s Instructor

What do people underestimate about post-workout endorphins?

“People underestimate how good you actually feel afterwards. Doing hard things isn’t always easy in the moment, but the reward of moving your body and feeling your best is always worth it.”
- Jordaan, Barry’s Instructor

“That they carry you through the day! After my morning workout, my post-workout endorphins set me up for success for the rest of my day. When I don't work out in the morning, my days are noticeably less productive.“
- Hannah, Barry’s Class Attendee

“The confidence boost. You just feel so naturally good.”
- Alissa, Barry’s Instructor

“They really can take you through the day. After you workout, you have so much more energy throughout the day. The hardest part about going to a workout class is getting there, but it’s going to propel you into the rest of the day with energy.”
- Maddi, Barry’s Class Attendee

“How much they change your mood. You can walk in stressed, tired, annoyed at the world, and then an hour later life doesn’t seem so bad.”
- Tashi, Barry’s Instructor

Why do people keep coming back for something that hurts? What’s the beauty in the pain?

“Because it reminds you what you’re capable of. The pain might show up in the moment, but the strength and resilience you walk away with always lasts.”
- Jordaan, Barry’s Instructor

“Because even though it's tough and challenging during the workout itself, I know I'm getting stronger -- both physically and mentally! Plus, I feel great afterwards!“
- Hannah, Barry’s Class Attendee

“It’s the challenge. Pushing yourself to get stronger. When Barry’s classes start to feel easier, it’s so rewarding.”
- Alissa, Barry’s Instructor

“Because you feel so much stronger physically and mentally. In the moment you think, How am I supposed to sprint for 20 more seconds? But afterwards you’re like, Wow, I can’t believe I just did that. You keep showing up because you did it before and you can do it again.”
- Maddi, Barry’s Class Attendee

“Because the hard part is actually the point. When you push through something uncomfortable, it reminds you how strong you are and what you’re capable of. It’s actually kind of addictive. Especially when the results start showing up.”
- Tashi, Barry’s Instructor
