FP Sessions Featuring: Waxahatchee

Free People Sessions brings together the powerful connection between fashion and music through a one-of-a-kind performance, offering an exclusive, intimate glimpse into the artist’s world and creative process.

Waxahatchee is the indie-folk project of American singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield. After getting her start in the DIY punk scene, she launched the project in 2010, naming it after Waxahatchee Creek near her childhood home in Alabama.

Her most recent album, Tigers Blood, was released in March 2024 and earned Crutchfield her first GRAMMY nomination for Best Americana Album. The album finds her in a more settled, introspective place—melding alt‑country and Americana influences with poised lyricism.
