FP MOVEMENT X TOGETHXR:
What Women’s Sports Means to Us

What do women’s sports mean to you?
When it came to partnering with sports media company TOGETHXR, a brand founded by four of the most prolific female athletes of our time, this question was most certainly top of mind for our FP team.
So much so that we decided to ask team members, collaborators, and athlete ambassadors all about their relationships with women’s sports. The answers, of course, varied, but there was a common theme among the thoughtful replies (and as luck would have it, it was the same sentiment we had printed on our collab’s limited-edition sweatshirt): Together Women Win.

FP MOVEMENT X TOGETHXR:
ABOUT THE COLLABORATION
In celebration of women’s sports and the inspiration they bring, FP Movement is partnering with TOGETHXR, uniting two strong voices dedicated to fitness, advocacy, and making an impact. This exclusive collaboration represents the inherent power of women in sports and how that power only multiplies when we choose to come together.
TOGETHXR is a platform upon which culture, activism, lifestyle, and sports converge.
Founded by athletes Alex Morgan, Chloe Kim, Simone Manuel, Sue Bird, and sports media veteran, Jessica Robertson, the company is on a mission to shatter the often narrow depictions of women in the media and create an inclusive community of game changers, culture shapers, thought leaders, and barrier breakers.
FP Movement and TOGETHXR have teamed up to create a limited-edition version of our iconically comfortable and premium quality A Cut Above Hoodie, featuring the co-branded message “TOGETHER WOMEN WIN.” Not only does the sweatshirt serve as a symbol of our collaboration, but a representation of ongoing movement: improving the visibility and equality within women’s sports.
“FP Movement sits at the intersection of sport and style with an authenticity that reflects how women move and build community,” says Jess Robertson, TOGETHXR Co-Founder & Chief Brand Officer. “This partnership is grounded in a common commitment to that community, while spotlighting and celebrating the future of women’s sports—connecting culture, movement, and purpose.”

“Women’s sports have shaped who I am. Competing from a young age on the Junior National Team, and again as a DI athlete – competitive sport has given me ownership and accountability over my life—it’s where I’ve learned to lead, to persevere, and to keep showing up.”
- Alisha, Planning
“I would not be who I am today without the impact of sports on my life. Playing lacrosse as a little girl all the way through my collegiate career at Ohio State challenged me in ways I didn't know possible and instilled a rewarding work ethic that continues to motivate and inspire my daily life.”
- Baley, Planning
“Sports have helped shape my entire life. Exercise still helps ground me in a way that nothing else can. These teams provided friendships, built in exercise, as well as life long lessons about how to approach many situations. My college coaches always told me that I would take what I learned on the field and apply it in the real world. This still holds true to this day. I would be the person I am without sports!”
- Julia, Brand Marketing
“Women’s sports have been a constant in my life, even before I fully understood the true impact. I played soccer from age five through college at a Division I program, and that experience shaped how I approach challenges, goals, and growth. Sports taught me discipline, accountability, and how to trust myself under pressure. The confidence and resilience I gained have shown up in every stage of my life, both personally and professionally. I don’t think I’d be where I am today without the foundation that sports gave me.”
- Allie, Brand Partnerships
“Growing up as a multi-sport athlete, movement became a way for me to build confidence, resilience, and a deep love for fitness. Sports give women permission to take up space, be strong, fast, and competitive, and to be proud of it.”
- Shae, Merchandising
“Women’s sports have always been my outlet for competition, self-expression, and joy! From picking up lacrosse in first grade to playing through my college career, sports taught me how to work hard, stay driven, and love the process.”
- Emily, Buying
“I grew up in team sports, it's where I found a shared purpose and identity, and it was such a sad day when I stepped away from it going into college. Years later, I feel like that spark was reignited as I entered the true fandom that is women's sports. It's given me such connection and has felt almost like rediscovering a missing piece. Women's sports to me is community. It's about belonging, representation, and joy.”

“What does visibility for women in sports look like?”
“Visibility in women’s sports to me means equal airtime and opportunities that match the work we put in day in and day out. It means being broadcast, invested in, and talked about consistently. In Squash, men and women have equal prize money and opportunity and I hope more sports continue to follow in these footsteps.”
- Olivia Weaver, Professional Squash Player
“As the first woman to coach men’s professional baseball and the co-founder of the new women’s pro baseball league, visibility in women’s sports for me is all about being present and never taking no for an answer. Growing up playing baseball, I was almost always the only girl. One of the first times I ever really felt seen was at the Women’s Pro Baseball League tryouts last November. It was awesome to see us creating a future. When girls and women are together playing the sport they love, that’s when I feel seen.”
- Justine Siegal, Co-Founder of the Women's Pro Baseball League
“Visibility in women’s sports looks like equality. It looks like women doing what they do best, not just participation, but participation around sport. Everything from commentating to coaching to being an athletic trainer to being a doctor taking care of our athletes. All of the different areas that women can be at the top of their game. We often say if you see her, you can be her. Giving an opportunity to see participation in various ways is important.”

“I feel like women’s visibility in sports is definitely growing. Tons of fans are coming out and watching our matches. There are also so many brands that get involved in women’s sports which really inspires me.”
- Sofia Kenin, Professional Tennis Player
“When it comes to moving women’s sports forward, I have a saying, it’s keep-a-goin’. That’s what women have done in the sports space for decades. We keep on chugging along and that’s what gives me hope - we never give up.”
- Zora Stephenson, NBC Sports Reporter & Play-By-Play Broadcaster

“What role does community play in moving women’s sports forward?”
“I think as female athletes we are always stronger together in a collective community than we are as individuals. It’s as simple as just getting to share stories, share experiences, and support each other in all of our endeavors.”
- Bea Kim, Professional Snowboarder
“Community plays a huge role in pushing women's sports forward. From the beginning, community is all we have. It continues to lift us up in good times and bad times.”
- Sarah Gorden, Professional Soccer Player
“Community is huge — fans, players, and brands all showing up together. When brands invest and fans engage, it creates momentum and helps women’s sports continue to grow in a really natural way.”
