It happens a few times a year – whispers grow into near-shrieks of delight around Building 25 when our new luxe dress capsules make their appearance. This week’s assortment proved no different.

Design Director Andrea, the magic behind these coveted limited styles, leaned heavily into her love of decorative smocking – hand smocking, especially – to define the whimsy and feel of this newest collection, reminiscent of vintage babydoll dresses. Below, Andrea shares a few thoughts about what makes this group of dresses so truly special.

"I’m always looking for new ways to incorporate smocking every season and these dresses and am constantly inspired by vintage treasures I find.”

“Daisy Dots is extra special to me because I discovered that, if you start with a polka dot print, you can hand smock it in such a way that it becomes a daisy print! It’s such a magical transformation.”
