We’ve partnered with our sisters at Girls Inc. for over seven years, to help them with their mission to inspire young girls to be STRONG, SMART and BOLD through advocacy, programming and donations. As a result, we were the proud recipients of Girls Inc.’s Corporate Vision Award 2019 for our impact driven partnership.

Free People has partnered with our sisters at Girls Inc. since 2016, to help them in their mission to inspire all young girls to be STRONG, SMART and BOLD through charitable donations, advocacy, programming, and mentorship impact. With 3,000+ hours of wellness and mentorship programming Free People has been the recipient of a number of awards from Girls Inc. over the years. In 2021 Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey recognized Free People’s CEO with the Woman of Impact Award and in 2024 Girls Inc.’s Corporate Champion Award. In the next five years Free People plans to reach an annual donation of $1M annually to Girls Inc.
1% of net proceeds from FP Movement activewear (excluding swim wear) will be donated to our non-profit partner Girls Inc. Net proceeds is defined as product sales less merchandise and operating costs, with a minimum donation of $0.01 per product purchased. Girls Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that works to inspire young girls to be STRONG, SMART and BOLD through advocacy, programming and donation. No portion of the purchase is tax deductible.
