The sun, Mercury and Venus are all visiting Scorpio as the month gets underway, and each of them will take a turn clashing with Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus between November 5th and November 11th. Since all of these signs are fixed (thus set in their ways), we’ll feel the tension of five planets butting heads. Especially on the 8th, when the moon joins in the fixed fight by facing off with the sun and forming a lunar eclipse. Fortunately, all of these planets are harmonizing with Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces, Scorpio’s fellow Water sign. Compassion, kindness and forgiveness can soothe what ails us. Delve into your imagination, intuition and soul if the outer world overwhelms you. You can do profoundly healing inner work when psychological Scorpio and spiritual Pisces team up. Remember to give yourself and others grace and space this month.

SCORPIO

October 23–November 21

A faceoff between Venus in Scorpio and Uranus in your interpersonal angle on November 5th could throw an existing relationship off-kilter or bring someone new into your life. FOMO might lead your eye to wander, which could have a ripple effect. Do you have a solid connection with your partner? It’s a great time to surprise each other and do something you’ve never done before. Is your romance already rocky? One of you might seek a change now. If you get involved with someone new, things can start off with a bang and fizzle out later, unless you’re seeking an unconventional arrangement. To make the most of this transit regardless of your relationship status, be open to unfamiliar experiences and offbeat individuals. Venus’s run-in with Saturn on November 7th can point to domestic difficulty, a blue mood or the past catching up with you. If unpleasant feelings are getting in your way, deal with them. But if unpleasant individuals are dragging you down, don’t let them. Relating is bound to feel harder. Try spending time alone contemplating what you want from people. When a lunar eclipse rocks your interpersonal angle on the 8th, a relationship could also be shaken up — to the point where you move to the next level of commitment or opt to call it quits. Try to keep a cool head because the atmosphere will be charged with emotion, making it difficult to act judiciously. The Scorpio sun has its own opposition with Uranus on the 9th, and you’re likely to take it personally if someone exhibits erratic behavior, unreliability or a need for independence. Instability in a relationship can feel threatening to your ego now. If you’re the one who’s feeling restless and aren’t sure what you want, you might project your ambivalence onto another person. Maintaining healthy boundaries should help you sort out your own role in the situation. Venus’s tête-à-tête with Neptune on the 10th gives you a green light to gush, pine, flirt, dress up, and indulge in creativity, romance and fun to your heart’s content. You might change your appearance, fall in love or immerse yourself in an activity you’re passionate about. The sun is at odds with Saturn on November 11th, hinting that a family or domestic problem could be sapping your strength. Or it could seem like a parent or roommate isn’t on your side. Try to understand why you might be feeling insecure. Thanks to the sun’s chemistry with Neptune on the 14th, being yourself — and maybe even being the center of attention, despite your preference for privacy — will fulfill a deep need to engage with the world and experience the joy of living. You can achieve an elusive state of flow that allows you to transcend self-consciousness and simply be. Your ideal experience now could involve romance, creative expression, play or spiritual connection. The next day, Venus vibes with Jupiter, bringing your passion and personality alive once again. Reach for the love and happiness you deserve! You want a lot at the moment and might overindulge, but that’s not the end of the world. That night, Venus exits Scorpio and segues into your worth zone for a three-week stay, increasing your appetite for nice things and helping you to attract what you need. Money has a way of flowing through your fingers and falling into your lap during this period — easy come, easy go. After Mercury zips into that zone on the 17th, you’ll devote even more of your attention to money, possessions and priorities. Mars needles Neptune on the 19th, a repeat of their run-in on October 12th, when romantic ideals may have been at odds with the real inner workings of a relationship. Or maybe a passion project wasn’t panning out. You have a chance to approach this from a different angle now that Mars is retrograde, but don’t take any unnecessary risks. You can resolve the matter more conclusively next March. On November 20th, a sun-Jupiter confab repeats the theme of being all that you can be and putting your individuality on display. Believe in yourself and enjoy showing off a little. After the sun segues into your worth zone on the 22nd to join Venus and Mercury there, even more of your focus will shift from who you are to what you have and what you want. You’ll identify with your belongings, personal values, material needs and financial status and may examine your relationship with money and things — perhaps questioning whether your stuff is serving your needs or stressing you out. The new moon of November 23rd encourages you to find a fresh source of income, create a budget, start saving more and develop your innate talents over the course of the next six months. With Jupiter powering forward minutes later, you could start to feel hopeful, especially when it comes to progress in your love life or on a creative project. You should have a better understanding these days of what fulfills you — you’ll be more enthused about making time for it. On the 28th, Mars convenes with Saturn, echoing their summit on September 28th. Try to recapture the combination of emotional self-control and passionate focus that you may have experienced then. When Venus opposes Mars on November 30th, your personal desires and priorities could clash with sharing in a close relationship, and you might disagree over joint resources, money, possessiveness or trust. You may be attracted to a someone because you see something in them that you want for yourself.

SAGITTARIUS

November 22–December 21

On November 5th, a Venus-Uranus standoff suggests that part of you wants to hibernate, but something is apt to come up (maybe a job or health matter), compelling you to handle it. If you’re free to make your own schedule, this day will be easier. Plus, an unresolved relationship problem might surface, requiring you to take a fresh approach. When Venus tussles with Saturn on the 7th, you could have trouble coming to terms with an ending or have a sense of being cut off from people. If you’ve painted an overly rosy picture, you might get a glimpse of harsher reality. If you’re struggling with a mental block and trying to get your feelings squared away, it might be better to let them go so you can heal. The lunar eclipse of November 8th can trigger a crisis related to wellness or work or a flurry of tasks to attend to. Whatever happens, note what feels like too much. Dropping something from your plate can improve the quality of your everyday life. How can you be healthier and more productive? Could you kick a bad habit and substitute a good one? The sun’s opposition with Uranus on the 9th can again make it harder for you to juggle your workload and keep up with changing circumstances. If you’re stressed, take a breather and unwind. Sleep and spirituality will replenish you. The next day, Venus’s vibe with Neptune can make you crave escape. Although you might enjoy a trip, nesting at home to savor simple pleasures like comfort food — alone or with a companion — will also relax you. A sun-Saturn skirmish on the 11th can cause you to beat yourself up over past mistakes, as you’re aware of your patterns now. Strive to understand yourself without putting a negative spin on it. Yes, changes need to happen, but personal growth is a positive, as your sign well knows! The sun-Neptune mashup on November 14th again favors escape from the commotion of the outer world. Find an atmosphere that soothes your soul. A spa day may hit the spot, or you could just as happily lose yourself in a meditation session or Netflix binge. Alone time—or time at home around people you can unwind with — will help you recharge your battery. Venus and Jupiter join forces on the 15th, giving you permission to sneak off for a private tryst or a moment of peace and quiet. If you’re in an introspective mood, ponder your relationships, questioning whether you feel nurtured and supported. A sweet gesture for a roommate or relative will go over well. That night, Venus dances into Sagittarius and will hang there until December 9. People are drawn to you like moths to a flame during this period, and you won’t have to work at it. Your warmth and charisma will make you a magnet for admirers! Mercury skips into Sag on the 17th, giving you the gift of gab and encouraging you to make yourself heard. Your brain will speed up, and you’ll feel more able to contemplate personal matters with objectivity. On November 19th, a Mars-Neptune dustup mimics the one that occurred on October 12th. Confusing emotions or a family or household matter could once again start a conflict. This issue may come up again next March, when you’ll have a chance to resolve it more completely. The sun’s chemistry with Jupiter on the 20th reiterates the appeal of peace and quiet. You’ll benefit from looking within yourself and reflecting on the past. This is an excellent time for gaining insight into yourself through journaling, dreams, meditation and introspection. Listen to your intuition. The sun bursts into your sign on November 22nd, marking the beginning of your birthday season. Now you’ll have more energy and the perfect excuse to focus on yourself. This is your time of year for making a splash and zeroing in on who you want to be. And when the new moon lands in Sagittarius the very next day, that’s your cue to reinvent yourself in whatever way you choose. Set your intentions for a new year now rather than waiting until December 31st. This is your personal fresh start! What do you want? Where do you see yourself in a year? What would you like to manifest? Minutes later, your planetary ruler, Jupiter, gets back in gear, boosting your underlying mood and your faith that people will support you. If a domestic or family matter has been in limbo, it should start to move toward resolution soon. And on November 28th, Mars gels with Saturn, a repeat of their collaboration on September 28th. You might re-team with someone and revisit your previous efforts. If words fail you, you might resolve a problem by letting your actions speak for themselves. But since Mars is retrograde, there’s no guarantee they’ll convey the intended message. The Venus-Mars opposition of November 30th points to a conflict between your demeanor or desire and someone’s behavior or reaction. It can also indicate a strong attraction. One-on-one encounters will be stimulating — in a good way or a bad way! With Mars backpedaling, no one’s actions are entirely straightforward.

CAPRICORN

December 22–January 19

Change things up to keep life interesting when Venus opposes Uranus on the 5th, impacting your social life and personal life. Romantic sparks with a friend or spontaneous fun with your squad will satisfy your need for excitement. You’re getting along well with people but may dart off in your own direction, following a whim. If you suddenly enter into a relationship, it may not have staying power. A Venus-Saturn tussle on the 7th implies limited self-confidence will make you feel less outgoing, or limited funds will prevent you from socializing to the extent that you’d like to. Rigid values can also keep you from enjoying time with friends. It will take a little work to get past this; face facts and proceed in a modified form that you can live with. The lunar eclipse of November 8th could bring a creative project to fruition. Or a romance could blossom or hit its expiration date. You won’t be able to hide your feelings and might make a grand declaration or have the time of your life. The sun’s standoff with Uranus on the 9th can create friction between fitting in and standing out. You’re prepared to play nice but may have an impulse to shoot off on your own tangent, leaving teamwork in the dust. Or friendship and romance could be a tricky mix. The sun’s telling you to integrate and cooperate, while Uranus tempts you to do as you please. But Venus’s harmony with Neptune on November 10th will help you socialize and connect naturally. Trust your instincts and show your sentimental side, especially around your squad. In contrast, the sun’s tiff with your ruler, Saturn, on the 11th suggests it may be difficult to find your place in a group that day. Again, dwindling confidence or funds could be a sticking point for you. Try not to focus on what you supposedly lack and look for a way to participate. Fortunately, you’ll have an easier time getting on the same wavelength with people when the sun jibes with Neptune on the 14th. You can find a way to express your individuality and still click with others, especially if you express empathy. Find commonalities instead of sweating little differences. Play a role that serves interests beyond your own. You’ll thrive on being around people again the next day, thanks to a Venus-Jupiter mashup. Be open to unfamiliar ideas and individuals. Spending time with a wide range of humanity and exposing yourself to a variety views will help you grow. A shared adventure or learning experience will satisfy you, and professional networking should be fruitful. That night, after Venus slips into your spirit corner for a three-week retreat, you’ll start to feel less sociable and more interested in spending private time by yourself or with someone you care about. Once Mercury follows suit on the 17th, make a point of giving your intuition and imagination their due. Carve out quiet time to read, reflect and daydream. On November 19th, a Mars-Neptune skirmish echoes one that occurred on October 12th. If you get off-track, think about different approaches that could work better, but don’t take significant risks. You’ll get another shot at this next March. The next day’s sun-Jupiter mashup puts you back in the swing of things socially and again encourages you to learn from others. You can also convey your own knowledge with contagious enthusiasm. After the sun dips into the last house in your chart on the 22nd, you’ll take a step back from the world whenever you get the chance in the coming month. You need to rest and recharge before your birthday season begins. Take an honest look back at the past year, but reserve judgment. See if you can shine a light on ways in which you’ve worked against yourself. You won’t have much fuel in your tank, so do give yourself permission to unwind. On November 23rd, the new moon in that house nudges you to begin a new spiritual practice or let go of something (or someone) in an effort to give yourself closure and peace. You’re wiping the slate clean in preparation for next month’s new moon in your sign, so make space in your life and in your psyche. Minutes later, Jupiter does a U-turn in your thinking-and-talking sector, reminding you to keep communication totally above-board and respectful. If travel and learning opportunities temporarily dried up, your luck should soon turn. You might also continue to improve a sibling relationship or resume a neighborhood improvement effort. Mars teams up with your ruler, Saturn, on the 28th — a repeat of their collab on September 28th, which reinforced your work ethic. Hard work can bolster your finances, while healthy habits can help you to feel good and feel good about yourself. Finally, on November 30th, Venus and Mars move into an opposition that suggests your desire to retreat from the world may clash with your drive to get things done that day. You want alone time but also need to take care of business, so operating quietly behind the scenes might be your best bet.

AQUARIUS

January 20–February 18

The Venus-Uranus opposition on November 5th means disruptions at home or unruly emotions could make you lose face. Keep your feelings in check at work. Find different ways to juggle professional and personal time, maybe by working from home. If you can break out of an old pattern, you can improve your PR or win over an authority figure. But when Venus and Saturn cross swords on the 7th, you might get in your own way and prevent yourself from shining. Is your self-restraint impacting your amiability? Be conscious of the image you’re presenting, but don’t be too hard on yourself. Try polishing creative work or planning how you can build a positive reputation. With a lunar eclipse rocking your foundation angle on the 8th, a family or domestic development could grab your attention again, and you may be moody. Home life feels unstable, and this dramatic lunation can push it in one direction or another. Feeling overwhelmed? Between work, home and personal growth, you’ve got a lot going on. Avoid projecting those emotions onto others; ask for support instead. The next day, a sun-Uranus faceoff once again hints that feelings or domestic disruptions can keep you from achieving goals or making a good impression. Deal with what’s going on in your private life or inside you; if you ignore it, it can intrude at an inopportune moment. The Venus-Neptune confab on November 10th coaxes you to share hidden talents if you want to dazzle higher-ups and secure valuable contacts. Work on something with heartfelt devotion. The love of what you’re doing will shine through. Neptune wants you to rise above financial motivations and honor your gifts. But the sun’s clash with Saturn the next day puts you at risk of getting in your own way once again. Maybe part of you is ready to prove yourself on a bigger stage and part of you feels like a work in progress. You can proceed more strategically without knocking yourself down a peg. Fortunately, the sun’s chemistry with Neptune on November 14th will enable you to shine in a professional or public arena and gain a genuine sense of self-worth. Lean into your creative or spiritual gifts as you did on the 10th. If you can bring your highest values into alignment with your ambitions, you’re sure to succeed. Don’t shy away from the spotlight or hesitate to prove what you’re made of. Harmony between Venus and Jupiter on the 15th nudges you to keep showcasing your talents. Your cachet with people in power that day could help you to boost your income. That night, Venus arrives in your network arena for a three-week tour. Group gatherings are your sweet spot now, so hang out with your friends, RSVP “yes” to parties and other big events and consider joining an organization. After Mercury skips into that part of your chart on the 17th, make a point of doing more networking and perhaps getting your message out on social media. You’re not meant to be keeping your thoughts to yourself in the next few weeks. A Mars-Neptune clash on November 19th is a repeat from October 12th. Don’t take any financial risks in pursuit of pleasure, especially since Mars is retrograde this time around. The sun’s harmony with Jupiter the next day coaxes you to showcase your talents once again. Whatever you do, don’t hide what you have to offer the world. Success can boost your confidence, and confidence will increase your odds of success. It’s a positive feedback loop! The sun’s segue into your network arena on the 22nd will make you feel more invested in teamwork. You’ll thrive on feeling connected to the various circles of people in your life in the coming month. The new moon of November 23rd lures you to make a new friend, join different groups, embrace a team-player role and transition to a new goal or an item on your bucket list. This is also the perfect lunation for launching a philanthropic endeavor like a coat drive. As Jupiter wraps up its retrograde phase minutes later and pivots forward in your resources realm, money will start to flow more freely, maybe both in and out. You could start to feel more certain of your values, your priorities and your own worth. On November 28th, Mars makes music with Saturn in Aquarius, paralleling their summit of September 28th. You may have bet on yourself and won at that time, but with Mars backspinning now, it’s possible you don’t feel as sure handed. If you put a plan in place then that relates to your happiness, you might review it now and consider tweaks. In pursuit of personal fulfillment and a well-rounded life, you could resurrect a past source of pleasure, joy or love. Venus goes head to head with Mars on the 30th, hinting that such pursuits might go astray momentarily and mess up your camaraderie with others. Maybe you want to cooperate but can’t quite bring yourself to go along with the crowd. Do what you can to balance group interests and individual endeavors. And if that’s easier said than done, don’t worry.

PISCES

February 19–March 20

There’s no law against changing your mind when Venus opposes Uranus on November 5th. A purported pleasure that you took a hard pass on can suddenly become your jam. For instance, maybe you’ll meet someone who makes you rethink the idea that long-distance is a deal-breaker. You could also take an impromptu trip with your significant other or enjoy a vacation fling. Chase after gratifying experiences that are unfamiliar and eye-opening. Venus’s discord with Saturn on the 7th could cloud your mind with guilt, regret, misgivings or melancholy, and that might prevent you from pursuing someone or something new. You shouldn’t ignore your feelings. But don’t let self-doubt convince you to play it too safe. Use lessons from the past to perfect your plans, then consider taking a reasonable risk. The lunar eclipse of November 8th can trigger a shift in your mindset or bring a writing project to a climax. You could suffer from information overload or get big news. Since you won’t be inclined to keep your thoughts and feelings to yourself, share them with people you can be candid with. But a disagreement could arise out of nowhere the next day, due to a sun-Uranus opposition. Do you really feel that strongly about this issue? Choose your battles. Petty arguments will just take up valuable space in your head, while an intelligent debate can be educational and enlightening. If you’re distracted by nervous energy, a change of scenery may be the antidote. Venus vibes with Neptune in Pisces on November 10th, implying that going out on a limb will facilitate a transcendent experience — or at least a lovely escape. This combination gives you a mandate to be your dreamy, romantic self. New love or pleasure can have a profound effect on you, so wait until your feet are back on terra firma before you decide to turn your life upside down. When the sun squares off with Saturn on the 11th, as eager as you are to broaden your horizons, lingering feelings that arose on the 7th could once again cramp your style. You may have to wrap up old business before breaking fresh ground. But don’t let the weight of the past clip your wings! The sun-Neptune confab on November 14th can pave the way for an adventure you’ve dreamed of. Or you might have an experience that inspires you to dream bigger. Other possibilities: a spiritual awakening of sorts or a cathartic lesson. Be open to expanding your consciousness, but don’t take in everything unfiltered, or you’ll be vulnerable to illusions. Venus’s chemistry with Jupiter on the 15th cues you to keep broadening your horizons. The appeal of difference is irresistible, pulling you toward foreign people, places, ideas and experiences. Study an unfamiliar topic, talk to strangers, travel if you can. Branching out will open your eyes and change you and might revitalize a relationship. Hours later, Venus ascends to your ambition arena, creating favorable circumstances in your career and helping you to charm people power players. You can promote yourself, polish your public image and do creative work that garners attention. As Mercury follows suit on the 17th, shift even more attention to your career and long-term goals in the next few weeks. Write a business plan, interface with higher-ups and study something that will help you professionally. Mars and Neptune skirmish have the same skirmish on the 19th as they did on October 12th, when household matters may have taken the wind out of your sails. Examining your own motives and underlying emotions is the way to go, especially since Mars is retrograde. You’ll get another chance to resolve this next March. The sun-Jupiter mashup of November 20th reiterates the benefits of opening your eyes to new aspects of the world. You could explore different beliefs that offer fresh perspective. Personal growth comes from growing your world now. Once the sun climbs to the peak of your chart on the 22nd, you’ll start to focus even more on the direction you want to take in life. You might find yourself in the spotlight, where you’ll need to perform at your best and prove what you’re capable of. The new moon of November 23rd prompts you to cultivate your ambition, set new personal and professional goals and possibly kick off a whole new chapter in your career. With Jupiter wrapping up its retrograde phase in your sign minutes later, there’s no stopping you! You might feel overstimulated at first, but as the planet of expansion revs up, your sense of optimism about creating a bigger and better life for yourself will return. Maintain your focus on self-awareness and personal progress and aim to translate high hopes into a viable mission. If you’ve reshuffled your aspirations recently, clarify your quest and target top-priority plans. Keep learning about yourself and pushing the boundaries of your potential. Utilize your faith in yourself to widen the scope of your identity and your life. A Mars-Saturn encounter on the 28th is a repeat from September 28th, again nudging you to unpack emotional baggage so you can move on. You might revisit a domestic project or family problem or reorganize your space. On the 30th, the Venus-Mars opposition hints that good PR or your desire to achieve could be undermined by childish behavior, anger or family or household strife. Do your best to balance your public and private lives.

ARIES

March 21–April 19

A faceoff between Venus and Uranus on November 5th could set off shockwaves in a close relationship if you’re craving closeness but you’re worried about getting what you need. Loosen up your requirements and be open to what someone is offering. More independence might ultimately make you feel more secure. When Venus gets the cold shoulder from Saturn on the 7th, social obligations may interfere with alone time or couple time, or friends might present an obstacle. Maybe they don’t approve of your latest love. Don’t let groupthink mess with something positive in your life. The lunar eclipse of November 8th puts you in danger of blowing your budget because of a mood, but it could also bring a windfall. A confidence surge may go hand in hand with a money-making opportunity. Your finances or self-esteem could also take a hit on the 9th, when the sun and Uranus face off. Uranus’s curveballs call for adaptability. Try to keep your expectations on an even keel in a relationship. Don’t take what you’re getting or not getting from someone too personally. Avoid making a rash decision that could come back to bite you. Concentrate on reaching attainable goals. The spiritual vibe of November 10th stems from Venus-Neptune harmony. This planetary combo highlights themes of healing and soul-deep intimacy, while also emphasizing the very private nature of your experience. As the sun provokes stern Saturn the next day, even though you’re inclined to invest wholeheartedly in a particular person or endeavor, FOMO can make you hesitate to go all in. Or peer pressure may put a strain on a close connection, repeating the challenge of the Venus-Saturn skirmish on the 7th. On November 14th, a sun-Neptune confab lures you to keep focusing intently on a passion project, an important relationship or a private process. Your emotional investment can bring peace and catharsis. You’re attuned to subtleties, and your imagination and intuition can result in revelations. Understanding yourself—or sharing your real self with another individual — can help you release the need to be master of your fate and captain of your soul. Trust in the universe; you won’t be any less in charge of your life and might even feel more connected to your divine destiny. Venus and Jupiter align the next day, suggesting that sharing will offer hope and might teach you something. Private time with a confidant or mate will soothe your soul and could feel freeing. Self-love comes easier now, as does giving somebody the benefit of the doubt. That night, Venus’s arrival in your exploration corner ups the appeal of difference, and you’ll find it gratifying to cast a wider net and interact with people from various backgrounds. Exposing yourself to unfamiliar cultures and arts will provide pleasure. Mercury follows suit on the 17th, drawing your attention to the big picture and encouraging you to speak your mind when there’s a righteous cause at stake. Note that you can also learn a lot with this Mercury placement. Keep an open mind, and expose yourself to a range of opinions, beliefs and philosophies. Your ruler, Mars, argues with Neptune on the 19th, echoing their disagreement that occurred on October 12th. Your intention is to be proactive, but uncertainty is dampening your usual can-do attitude. Fortunately, you’ll have a chance to resolve this next March when Mars is no longer retrograde. When the sun forms an alliance with Jupiter on the 20th, introspection and intimacy may teach you something about your true self and give you a renewed sense of hope. Private time (by yourself or with a loved one) will have a soothing effect on you and might free something inside you. It’s easier now for you to accept who you are. After the sun sails into your exploration corner on the 22nd for a month-long tour, your enthusiasm builds. Sign up for a class or find another way to expose yourself to new ideas. Get out of your routine to gain a fresh perspective on life. The new moon on the 23rd can also boost your faith and encourage you to take more chances. Launch an entrepreneurial venture, book a trip, sign up for a new course of study or adopt a new mantra that inspires you to believe in — and chase after — a bigger and better future. Minutes later, Jupiter powers on after being in standby mode. You’ll feel more supported by the universe and willing to trust that it will all work out. If you’ve been exploring spirituality, doing something in service to others or seeking closure, you’ll regain momentum soon. The Mars-Saturn mashup of November 28th echoes their encounter which took place on September 28th. You might find it more difficult to sell people on your ideas now that your ruler is retrograde. But you could rework one of those ideas now or reconnect with a contact. When Venus goes toe to toe with Mars on the 30th, the pleasure you’re getting from exploring new experiences could be marred by a disagreement, everyday busyness or a compulsion to assert your own views rather than being receptive to difference. Seek the middle ground if you want peace.

TAURUS

April 20–May 20

Uranus in Taurus has a confrontation with Venus on November 5th, which could pit an urge for autonomy against a desire for companionship. The tension associated with oppositions tends to make it feel like you need to pick a side, but they’re really about balance. Find ways to be your own person and still maintain important bonds. If you need to take a break from a relationship or even call it quits, this faceoff can put the wheels in motion. Need space? You might flirt with someone other than your S.O. now. The ways in which you’re changing are impacting your closest connections. You’re open to different experiences, and that can create excitement in healthy relationships. If you meet someone new, you might have instant chemistry, but the two of you may or may not go the distance. Your rapport with another person could also suffer on the 7th when Venus spars with Saturn, especially if you don’t see eye to eye on goals or don’t seem to be headed in the same direction. Focusing a lot on where a relationship is going might ruin the moment. If a person gets too bossy with you, that’s also apt to upset the equilibrium between you. Taurus hosts the lunar eclipse of November 8th, which will make you extra emotional. Feel free to put your needs first, as long as you don’t trample on anyone’s rights. And find a proper outlet for all those feels so you don’t do anything rash. Be willing to consider releasing things (and people) from your life if they’re not serving your highest good, but don’t take rash action. A sun-Uranus standoff the next day can make you restless enough to pull away from your partner or another individual. You’ll find it hard to compromise if you’re itching for independence, and you may just need a breather. Uranus shoots from the hip, so press pause before you do anything radical. Better to examine your relationship dynamic without necessarily making a major move to change it yet. Venus’s chemistry with Neptune on the 10th hints that a platonic friendship might morph into a romance — or you might feel a soulmate connection with a friend of a friend. Travel, learning and socializing can liven up an existing relationship, so get out and have new experiences together. A creative partnership, a close friendship and other interpersonal and artistic bonds can also blossom. When the sun quarrels with Saturn on November 11th, it might be hard to get onto the same page with someone. Even if you’re prepared to meet them halfway, you could fear the prospect of deferring to another person. Team up for a humanitarian cause on November 14th, under a sun-Neptune summit. Common ideals will bring you together, and you’ll be energized by serving a higher purpose. The next day, Venus’s vibe with Jupiter favors socializing and networking. It’s a great time for group activities, so look for ways to join in. You might meet someone who’s good for you, and your best strategy is to cast a wide net. You have a chance to expand the circle of people in your life and connect with individuals you click with, so don’t fly solo. After Venus traipses into your depth-and-sharing realm that night for a three-week stay, your craving for closeness will grow. This is an intense time for your key relationships. You’d rather dive deep with someone you’re invested in than keep it casual. When Mercury follows on the 17th, you could become laser-focused on challenging mental work like a research project or tune into your psyche and contemplate what’s hidden there. You may have profound dialogues in the next few weeks that leave a strong impression on you. On November 19th, Mars and Neptune repeat their disagreement from October 12th, when you might have had a problem involving finances or possessions. It probably won’t get resolved this time around while Mars is backtracking, but you’ll have another chance next March. The next day, a Venus-Jupiter confab again favors large gatherings, so say yes to being around plenty of people and you might click with a specific person. Once the sun plunges into your depth zone on the 22nd, you’ll devote even more energy to a close relationship, passion project or emotional issue. You could become more absorbed in your personal life and matters involving sharing, trust, control, sexuality and psychology. Whatever you feel invested in will draw your intense focus. The next day’s new moon alludes to a fresh start in the above areas in the coming weeks. For instance, a new sex partner, emotional bond or intense endeavor may grab much of your attention. You could also tap into a fresh outside resource like a loan or grant soon. Thanks to Jupiter’s direct turn minutes later, your faith in people and the support you get from them will increase. On the 28th, a Mars-Saturn is a continuation from September 28th. See if you can find an alternate way to use the resources at your disposal to advance your career or your reputation. The Venus-Mars standoff on November 30th could spell a conflict over money, belongings, values, sharing or jealousy. Try to balance your needs and those of another person.

GEMINI

May 21–June 20

Find different ways to get things done when Venus and Uranus go head to head on November 5th. Maybe you’re engrossed in creative work and keep getting distracted by random thoughts and disruptions. Take regular breaks and give subliminal flashes their due. Your best ideas may not be fully formed yet. If you’re working on a relationship problem or collaborating on a project, keep an eye on the side of you that wants to rock the boat. And if a person or circumstances seem to be working against you, notice how you might be unconsciously colluding with the shakeup. A flirtation with a colleague may appear to come out of nowhere but has probably been brewing for a while. The Venus-Saturn dustup of November 7th could make you second-guess what you’re doing and wonder whether your efforts have meaning. Whether you’re striving to improve a relationship or your health or complete a project, it could feel like it’s not amounting to much. Maybe you feel constricted by the rules of life and are questioning the benefits of doing everything by the book. It’s natural to weigh how much you value someone or something now. The next day’s lunar eclipse can cause something from your subconscious to burst to the surface, so pay attention to your dreams and hunches. If you need to release an emotion, forgive someone, heal a hurt or close the book on something in your life, this is a golden opportunity. The mind-body-spirit connection is key to what needs to be surrendered. A sun-Uranus opposition on the 9th suggests that your productivity could be undermined by another person, self-sabotage or unforeseen circumstances. Avoid overreacting and taking your stress out on others. Try to balance control and surrender, adopting a flexible approach. On November 10th, Venus’s chemistry with Neptune allows you to get along well with colleagues. You’ll get a strong sense of purpose from doing creative work or work that serves the greater good. But the sun’s run-in with Saturn the day after can once again hamper your efforts. You have the impetus to accomplish a lot but could run out of steam if doubts creep in. Stay humble and don’t get discouraged if someone senior to you thinks you have more to learn. Fortunately, you can enjoy the fruits of your labor when the sun gels with Neptune on the 14th. It may not be time to take a victory lap, but you can get a lovely feeling of being in a groove. The next day, Venus and Jupiter team up, favoring cooperation. Blend self-assured ambition, humble helpfulness and energetic determination: a recipe for success! That night, Venus sashays across your interpersonal angle and camps out there for the next few weeks, making it easy to get along with people now. You can maintain smooth relations with everyone from a significant other to best friend, and one-on-one time holds more appeal than large gatherings. With Mercury following suit on the 17th, keeping the lines of communication open in key relationships takes on added importance. You can articulate your position and understand someone else’s without too much effort. Dialogue will stimulate your intellect and help you feel engaged with the world. On November 19th, retrograde Mars in Gemini argues with Neptune, as he did on October 12th. Try approaching an elusive goal from a different angle now. It should feel more achievable when these two planets encounter each other again next March. Luckily the sun’s harmony with Jupiter on the 20th can enable you to work smart and check something off your list. You have the energy to do what needs to be done. One-on-one relationships become even more important after the sun crosses your interpersonal angle on the 22nd, fueling partnership in the coming month. You’ll draw energy from other individuals and can learn about yourself through them. Pair up and strive to be the best mate, companion or friend you can be. The next day’s new moon further reboots your relationships and might launch a new partnership or take a current one to the next level. With Jupiter powering on minutes later, you’ll soon feel more optimistic about your career track. A fresh infusion of enthusiasm and ambition might lead you to come on like gangbusters around higher-ups, though, so be careful if the planet of excess tempts you to overdo it. On the 28th, Mars meshes with Saturn, a repeat from September 28th. You can adjust your M.O. now so it aligns with your understanding of the big picture. Ask yourself how you can execute differently to manifest your vision. Taking action that goes beyond your personal agenda — such as fighting for a cause — would also be a good bet. Compromise and peacemaking are favored on the 30th when Venus opposes Mars in your sign. Your assertiveness or your frustration can affect your closest relationships that day. Although a fight is one possibility, you might pursue someone you’re attracted to or reconcile with an ex. Since Mars is retrograde, your behavior won’t be totally straightforward.

CANCER

June 21–July 22

On November 5th, a Venus-Uranus faceoff inspires you to take a different route to pleasure. You’re in the mood to enjoy life, but perhaps you’ve struggled to find reliable partners in crime, as people seem to have their own agendas and sometimes bail. The more flexible you are, the more fun you’ll have. You might have a date scheduled, and a friend suddenly throws a wrench in your plans. Or a flirtation with a platonic pal could take you by surprise. Romance, creativity and play will be anything but normal now. Venus’s clash with Saturn on the 7th, however, implies that commitment feels heavy, and you may not want to work on a relationship. There’s also a chance someone will shut you out. You might take a step back to examine the real nature of a connection. Perhaps you really want to be yourself and share your feelings, but you’re not getting the exact response you’re after. The next day’s lunar eclipse can trigger squad drama, and you might support a friend in need. If you’ve outgrown a certain friendship or group, you could decide to cut ties under this supercharged lunation. On the 9th, friction between the sun and Uranus could make romance or friendship heat up and then cool down. You could be the one sending mixed messages, or another person might throw you off with their push-pull behavior. If you need space, don’t pull a disappearing act. Use your words! Venus and Neptune sync up the next day, encouraging you to throw yourself into an experience that transcends daily reality. Travel and other escapist pleasures get the go-ahead. Your heart could be filled with compassion and empathy, possibly for people whose lives are distant from yours. The lines between you and others are blurred, allowing you to feel at one with the world. The sun and Saturn skirmish on the 11th, which might put pressure on a romantic relationship or cause you to feel judged by someone close to you. You’re in no mood to hide who you are, but focusing on getting a specific reaction from another individual can inhibit your self-expression. A sun-Neptune confab on November 14th alludes to the joy of being yourself and doing what makes you happy. Express your authentic self and true feelings, with no apologies. Have faith in the possibilities that life has in store for you — and in what you have to offer the world. Venus’s chemistry with Jupiter on the 15th feeds your faith in love and reaffirms the importance of being yourself. To release worries, play! Appreciate your own uniqueness and take a chance on something that could make you happy or help you grow. That night, Venus sails into your work-and-wellness corner, where she’ll be hanging out for the next few weeks, inspiring you to show your body some love. Are you giving it healthy fuel? Using it enough without pushing it too hard? Keeping it in great shape so it will last a long time and continue to perform well? This transit also favors working on problems in a relationship, dealing with practical matters with your partner or helping out someone you’re fond of. Mercury waltzes into that part of your chart on the 17th for a three-week stay, improving your ability to do mental work; identify problems and find solutions; communicate with coworkers; and investigate health issues. Guard against becoming overly critical during this period. A Mars-Neptune scuffle on November 19th is a repeat from October 12th. Ponder your own unconscious motives rather than jumping into action. A brief getaway can recharge your battery. As the sun and Jupiter gel on the 20th, travel and fun are favored again. Doing something that takes courage can also revitalize you. A blend of optimism, joie de vivre and luck can reinforce your hope that anything is possible. After the sun segues into your efficiency zone for a month-long tour on the 22nd, you’ll have lots of momentum to get stuff done. Take pride in being useful and productive instead of trying to achieve big things that will earn a round of applause. Just roll up your sleeves and get to work on your to-do list, job responsibilities and health goals. The next day’s new moon lights a fire under you to learn a skill, launch a job search, initiate a good habit, start a new exercise or diet regimen, get organized, strengthen your work ethic and streamline your schedule. Minutes later, Jupiter pivots direct, infusing you with renewed belief in your vision. Keep moving forward into the future that you’ve dreamed of! On November 28th, Mars and Saturn hold the same summit that they had on September 28th, again nudging you to work off the radar and focus intently on what you’re doing. Finally, on the 30th, a Venus-Mars standoff suggests unconscious behavior can mess up your rapport with colleagues, or repressed anger might make it harder for you to help another person. Working behind the scenes can help you gain recognition or produce results that please you, but delayed gratification is inevitable with Mars backtracking until January.

LEO

July 23–August 22

Venus in your domestic angle moves into an opposition with Uranus in your ambition realm on the 5th that implies a turn of events in the outside world will compel you to deal with work demands or jump through bureaucratic hoops, though you’d rather be nesting. Things probably won’t go according to plan, but with equal measures of flexibility and ingenuity, you can make the best of this faceoff. Find a way to juggle downtime and goals. If you hit turbulence with your family, don’t choose sides; take a step back to get some breathing room from friction. Then Venus gets into a spat with Saturn on November 7th that means personal obligations — not professional ones this time — might prevent you from unwinding at home. You’re extra sensitive to criticism now, so keep your distance from haters to preserve your mood. Tension between maintaining the status quo and committing may arise. You can gain insight by reaching out to a parent or a person who’s known you forever. The next day’s lunar eclipse at the peak of your chart may be the push you need to get out of a career rut, step into a high-profile role or let go of an old goal that doesn’t resonate with you anymore. It’s hard to hide, so be prepared to perform if you’re called on. As the sun and Uranus butt heads on the 9th, you may want the freedom to pursue your goals, but your family or home life is placing demands on you. You might opt to work remotely or make another change to restore balance in your life. Don’t do anything too drastic because Uranus can trigger impulsiveness that leads to further chaos. On November 10th, a Venus-Neptune confab paves the way for you to tune into your innermost feelings and share sweet moments with someone close to you. This pairing is all about private love and deep connection; if you’re on your own, that translates to self-love and being in touch with your core self. The next day, a sun-Saturn scuffle can trigger insecurity, and you’d be smart to avoid spending time around harsh critics. You could be inspired to take care of someone you love when your ruler, the sun, jibes with Neptune on the 14th. You might romanticize feelings of closeness or feel so comfortable with another person that it seems like you’ve known each other forever. Relaxing in familiar surroundings will have a soothing effect, so don’t feel the least bit guilty about skipping social plans to stay in. Venus and Jupiter are in cahoots on the 15th, favoring more one-on-one time at home. If you’re by yourself, quiet reflection can help you to feel at peace with where you’re at in your life. After Venus coasts into your fulfillment zone that night, a big part of you will want to get out and live life to the fullest over the next few weeks. Express your feelings and personality, invite more love into your life, show off your creative streak and have fun! Once Mercury follows suit on the 17th, you’ll be even more inclined to express your emotions, humor and inner artiste. Reading and writing for pleasure, playing mentally challenging games and flirting shamelessly will all hit the spot. As Mars and Neptune renew their squabble from October 12th on November 19th, you might revisit a confusing collaboration or a crush. The issue is likely to come up again next March when Mars is back in gear, and for now, don’t do anything you can’t undo. You have another green light to enjoy private time — solo or with a plus-one — at home when the sun vibes with Jupiter on the 20th. Enjoy the closeness or the quiet. Then on the 22nd, the sun blasts into your fulfillment zone, and in the month that follows, you’ll be inclined to set your own priorities and do as you please. You’re in a creative, playful, generous, romantic mood and should make time for as much fun as possible. The next day’s new moon in that same zone can jumpstart your love life or your personal happiness. You could begin dating more proactively, showing off your personality more freely, rekindling the flame with your partner, embracing a new hobby or launching an artistic venture. After Jupiter resumes forward motion minutes later, you’ll feel more psychologically resilient in the weeks that follow. If you haven’t received the support you need or the help you rely on from an outside resource lately, it should start to flow more freely soon. An alliance between Mars and Saturn on November 28th is a holdover from September 28th, and you could reconnect with a contact, collaborator or friend. You might also revisit a group endeavor now and try a different approach. Then on the 30th, a Venus-Mars encounter hints that teamwork, group activities or friendship may conflict with your pursuit of personal pleasure, requiring you to balance doing your own thing and collaborating. A platonic connection could also turn into something more, perhaps not for the first time, given that Mars is backspinning.

VIRGO

August 23–September 22

When Venus locks horns with Uranus on November 5th, their friction could flip a switch in your head and make you wonder what else — or who else — is out there waiting for you. You might contradict yourself or simply discover different pleasures that open your eyes to a new world of possibility. You could also flirt with a stranger or suddenly reveal your feelings to someone. If you’re in a long-term relationship, a shared adventure will rekindle the flame. The Venus-Saturn dustup on November 7th hints that a tight schedule, onerous workload, self-criticism or fatigue may cramp your style, leading you to seem more somber. Try not to get too bogged down by practical concerns. If you’re enjoying an experience, disciplined thinking and determination can actually help you keep the good vibes going. The next day’s lunar eclipse might bring a crisis of faith, a memorable adventure or an urge to fight for a just cause. It might also bring an entrepreneurial or publishing venture to fruition. Plus, this lunation provides your annual incentive to release a personal belief that is limiting your growth. The sun opposes Uranus on the 9th, and the words could start flying. Try to separate your ego from your thoughts and ideas. This opposition invites you to stay curious and be open to changing your views. A spirited discussion can segue into a heated debate in no time flat and possibly even cause a rupture. Slow down and weigh your words. Listen to people with different perspectives. Recognize that you’re probably neither 100% right nor 100% wrong — and in any case, it’s not a contest. Thanks to Venus’s chemistry with Neptune on November 10th, rose-colored glasses are giving everyone and everything a pleasant glow, inspiring you to flirt, show your sentimental side and convey compassion. Revel in the lovely feeling of being on the same wavelength with others and noticing what’s beautiful and good. Your relationships are bound to benefit from this whopping dose of lovingkindness. The sun challenges Saturn the next day, and your rush of ideas could run into a wall if you can’t figure out details. You’re fired up to learn, reach out to people and express yourself, but criticism (including self-criticism) can hold you back. The best strategy is to try to narrow your focus a bit so you don’t scatter your energy. As the sun meshes with Neptune on the 14th, vibrant, authentic communication will help you feel in sync with others, and you might form a spiritual or creative partnership. You want to understand and be understood, so build bridges. Then Venus’s vibe with Jupiter the next day sets the stage for lively, positive interactions. You’ll gain inspiration from other individuals, so keep connecting. An open mind and faith in humanity can work wonders, enabling you to attract fresh faces, click with people and gain valuable insights. That night, Venus descends to your foundation angle and will hover there for the next few weeks, highlighting the pleasures of home and family become ever more apparent. Spend time with family and loved ones; beautify your space; relish comforts like good food; get close to someone in the privacy of your home; play hostess to houseguests or partygoers; nurture yourself and people you care for; catch up on your rest; cook up a feast or bake delectable treats; or just get intimately acquainted with your couch and your streaming queue! Mercury follows suit on the 17th, putting you in tune with your innermost emotions and helping you to verbalize them. On November 19th, Mars and Neptune renew their disagreement from October 12th, and you might revisit a relationship goal. Don’t take decisive action now while Mars is backtracking. You’ll get another shot at resolving this matter next March. As the sun gels with Jupiter on the 20th, expressing your real self will help you meet new people who are right for you, and it can also improve your existing relationships. The sun’s descent to your foundation angle on the 22nd puts even more emphasis on family, home and feelings. In the month ahead, you’ll want to relax in familiar surroundings with people who really know you, but you also might crave alone time to reminisce or get in touch with private thoughts and emotions. The new moon of November 23rd prompts you to lay a piece of your past to rest and shift your emotional state. Prioritize regular self-care and nurturing relationships with women. A change in your family or living situation might be in the works. Minutes later, as Jupiter wraps up its retrograde phase, your belief in people should slowly start to revive, and relationship progress will seem entirely possible. On November 28th, Mars and Saturn form the same coalition as they did on September 28th. You could try a different approach to a goal now or reconnect with a mentor or boss. On the 30th, Venus and Mars go toe to toe, which might generate friction between your private and professional lives or between downtime and ambition. You could be inclined to relax but also feel compelled to achieve something. Don’t play referee or peacemaker in other people’s conflicts. Sometimes you need to take care of yourself first.

LIBRA

September 23–October 22

You could want one thing and get another when your ruler, Venus, faces off with Uranus on November 5th. If you look at whatever is offered to you as a pleasant surprise, you won’t be disappointed. Allow for more personal space in a close connection if your friend or partner is pulling away. On the other hand, a sexual encounter could be freeing and fun, and self-confidence can embolden you to try something different. If you know your needs aren’t being met in a relationship, this opposition might incite you to cut your losses. Venus’s clash with Saturn on the 7th could allude to a dip in your self-worth or doubts about what you have to offer and whether your assets can provide security. But a shopping spree may be kept under control now if you realize the object of your desire won’t give you that much pleasure. In any case, you could be compelled to pick and choose. The next day’s lunar eclipse can dial up the feels in a close relationship or produce unexpected lust for someone new, and a financial resource may finally come through or dry up. The sun’s discord with Uranus on the 9th could make you uncertain of getting what you want from someone. Maybe you can’t decide between holding onto what you have and betting on an unsure thing. You’re identifying strongly with your money, possessions and needs, and the idea of relying on other people or outside resources seems like a gamble. Be prepared to ride out the ebb and flow, and don’t react rashly if you feel unsettled. Changes in a close relationship could shake your self-esteem. Remember you can’t control others! Their feelings about you and their behavior toward you don’t define you. Those emotions and actions belong to them. Venus makes beautiful music with Neptune the next day, allowing you to make the connection between feeling good about yourself and taking good care of your body. You might focus on eating a clean diet, working out in the fresh air or doing a form of exercise that you find soothing. Selflessly helping others and using creative talent on the job also get a green light. The next day, a sun-Saturn tiff hints that you’re worried you don’t have the resources to attain the fulfillment you seek. Work with the limitations you’re facing rather than giving up. The sun’s chemistry with Neptune on November 14th hints that the more confident you are, the more productive you’ll be. Feeling good about what you have going for you will also inspire you to tune into your body’s needs and honor the connection between spiritual, mental and physical wellbeing. The next day’s Venus-Jupiter alliance suggests the best way to improve your finances and become self-sufficient is to work with enthusiasm and embrace responsibility. After Venus twirls into your thinking-and-talking corner that night for a three-week tour, you’ll feel flirty and might make a new love connection or have a breakthrough conversation with a loved one. Mercury follows Venus on the 17th, after which your brain may speed up, and your everyday interactions may experience an extra charge. You could travel more, even if it’s just day trips or weekend getaways. You might have lots of contact with neighbors and siblings and have an easier time absorbing information quickly. On November 19th, Mars and Neptune resume their argument from October 12th. Don’t take any chances now, no matter how courageous you’re feeling, because you don’t have all the details. You can revisit this issue next March with a clearer head. A sun-Jupiter tête-à-tête on the 20th can make it easy for you to tap into the resources you need. Make good use of your connections, talents, belongings, self-confidence and other assets to accomplish as much as you possibly can. After the sun soars into your thinking-and-talking corner on November 22nd, your thoughts and your everyday interactions will be infused with even more energy. You can put a lot of yourself into everything you say, but you should also make a point of listening, since the month ahead is an opportune period for learning. The new moon of November 23rd nudges you to find new ways to get your message across and to keep thinking positive. Gather intel and conjure up fresh ideas — some of which are bound to ripen into workable plans. Minutes later, Jupiter’s direct turn could make you busier at work, but the upside is you’ll begin to feel more productive and capable of tackling what’s on your plate. If you’ve been narrowing down your priorities because you bit off more than you could chew and got stressed out, now you can move ahead with a streamlined agenda. A Mars-Saturn rendezvous on November 28th echoes the one they had on September 28th. An alternate route to broadening your horizons could help you to grow and even make you happy. As Venus faces off with Mars on the 30th, your friendly rapport and positive attitude could be disturbed by a difference of opinion or an urge to fight for what you believe in. Find the middle ground between asserting your views and enjoying your dealings with others.
