With eight of our FP teammates…
As its name implies, this lace-y catsuit isn’t likely to stick around for long.
Mostly because, according to our friends who were gracious enough to wear the Hard To Get this past Fri/Sat/Sun, it is JUST THAT GOOD.
No matter where or when the occasion…
Folks who even doubted whether they could pull off a catsuit – for three days, no less – found it fun, easy and functional. But don’t take my word for it. Read on…
EMMA, ASSISTANT DESIGN DIRECTOR – COLLECTION KNITS
Size: L (Also wearing: Uptown Pullover)
First impressions… I liked the fabric (it was super soft) and color. It had some nice design details, the longer ruched leg, the waist seaming and the tiny keyhole with button at the back. I can tell this was really thought about for an end-use product.
Fit/feel? It actually felt great and super flattering, easy to get in and out of and the fabric didn’t feel too sheer even though it was lace.
Where did you take your catsuit this weekend? Friday night, I went out to dinner at my favorite local spot. I layered it with my fave FP tee and a blazer and dressed it up with boots. Saturday, I took the catsuit, my hubby and my baby boy out for coffee in the morning and to my local farmers’ market to get flowers. Sunday, I did nothing but laze around the house which means a lot of playing with building blocks on the floor right now. It was super comfortable.
Fave look and why? I’m all about relaxing on the weekend as much as possible so my fave look would have to be lazy day in look because that’s really my vibe – relaxed style – and I love lots of cozy layers for ultimate comfort.
Takeaway: To be totally honest, a catsuit wouldn’t usually be my go to look, but I thought, you know what, why not give it a go. Well, let me tell you I am totally converted. Catsuits are fun and there’s so much styling opportunity with them. Would I buy a catsuit again? 100% yes! It’s a versatile way to layer.

SYDNEY, SAMPLE COORDINATOR
Size: M (Also wearing: Eloise Tunic)
First impressions: When I first saw the catsuit I thought it would be such a fun way to mix up my wardrobe and try something new!
Fit/feel? I’m 5'7”, and a medium fit perfectly. It wasn't too tight and fit my legs well, looser than leggings but still held the same shape! It was super soft and surprisingly very flattering.
Where did you take your catsuit this weekend? I took my catsuit around town. Friday night I wore it out to dinner and drinks with friends at El Techo. Saturday morning, I wore it to brunch at Harper's Garden and to walk and shop around. On Sunday, I cozied up and stayed in all day, lounging and drinking coffee in my catsuit.
Fave look and why? My favorite look was the Saturday day "errands" look. I loved the way the purple and green looked together, and how you could see the top of the catsuit, as well as it peeking through the big holes in my jeans – it added a fresh twist that wearing just a bodysuit lacks!

KENDALL, MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT
Size: S
First impressions: This catsuit made me feel so unstoppable. I think normally with catsuits, you expect to feel a little bit self-conscious, but I felt so confident!
Fit/feel? Fits like a glove, in all the best ways! Surprisingly comfy to wear and not restrictive, at all.
Where did you take your catsuit this weekend? We went all over the city! Friday night, we went out in Fishtown. Saturday for errands, we took a stroll around Northern Liberties and down to my favorite coffee shop. Sunday was a cozy, rainy day in.
Fave look and why? Night out! I felt so chic!
Takeaway: If you’re on the fence about buying a catsuit, go for it! I cannot begin to express how surprised I was by how beautiful it made me feel.

LAUREN, DESIGN ASSISTANT – ENDLESS SUMMER
Size: XS (Also wearing: Lotus Jeans)
First impressions: This was my first time wearing a catsuit, so I was a little bit skeptical… but also excited for the number of ways it could be styled!
Fit/feel?: I have to say that this catsuit felt amazing!! I wasn't expecting an all-lace catsuit to feel so comfortable on my skin. After lounging around in it, I honestly didn't want to take it off.
Where did you take your catsuit this weekend?: I wore my catsuit with the beautiful FP Lotus Jeans on Saturday to run errands around the city and do a little shopping. It was so comfy and wearing a catsuit underneath my jeans provided some extra warmth since the temperature dropped. Saturday night I changed up the pieces with an edgy boho twist and wore it to a friend's housewarming party. On Sunday, I lounged around the house wearing the Hard To Get, plus an oversized sweater dress. That outfit was ultimate comfort!
Fave look and why?: This is such a hard decision, but my favorite look has to be the one I wore out Saturday afternoon. The touch of lace styled with my jeans made me feel so effortless and pretty.
Takeaway: Catsuits are the new bodysuits! I'll be keeping my eye out for my next one from Free People.

Size: XS (Also wearing: Out Of The Ordinary Denim Mini Skirt)
First impressions: “I want to put this on immediately.” LOL
Fit/feel? So soft and surprisingly very comfortable.. fit like a glove! Plus the ruching at the ankles was a nice detail 😊
Where did you take your catsuit this weekend? Friday night drinks, Saturday farmers’ market in Rittenhouse, Sunday lounging at home.

Size: S (Also wearing: Goddess Sleep Shirt)
First impressions: Love! It is such a unique and beautiful piece, and I was so excited to style it!
Fit/feel? Fits true to size! It was way more comfortable than I was expecting! The lace is so soft, and it's easy to wear all day and transform from a day to night look!
Where did you take your catsuit this weekend? I took my catsuit out for dinner with my friends in Fishtown on Friday and paired it with the City Slicker Vegan Maxi Skirt -- I felt so chic! I was able to turn it into a bit more of a casual look when I was walking around Saturday afternoon in Rittenhouse and paired it with the Kaylyn Midi. Like I said it is SO comfortable, so on Sunday I was able to lounge all day in the house and just threw on the Goddess Sleep Shirt with it!
Fave look and why? Hard to pick, but my fave was my Saturday errands look – it made the outfit feel more fall-ready and really elevated the dress!

LEAH, PHOTO STUDIO COORDINATOR
Size: XS
First impressions: So cute and delicate – I had been wanting a catsuit so badly so my first impression was one of excitement!!
Fit/feel? It fits great. Not too tight, and thicker than tights. Didn’t feel too delicate. The perfect layer!!
Where did you take your catsuit this weekend? Actually, I had my friends photograph my outfit for this editorial in South Philly outside my apartment, then I took my catsuit on vacation with me to Portugal and wore it there! 😊 I recreated the going out outfit, the daytime outfit, and made an additional chic/kind of cocktail and dinner outfit out of it as well in Lisbon!
Fave look and why? I think my favorite is the going out outfit – it feels really true to my style and looks SO cool.
Takeaway: I’m obsessed with this catsuit and I will also be buying the In My Feels Catsuit because I know these will be my go–to’s for fall!
