Welcome To Cancer Season

As Above, So Below

One word to keep in mind this July: FLUX.

Visit theastrotherapist.com to schedule a personal astrology reading over Zoom. We’ll talk in depth about your birth chart and your year ahead. Follow @theastrotherapist on Instagram for frequent forecasts.

You don’t need me to tell you the world is in a state of flux, but it may offer context if I tell you the astrology “weather” reflects this instability we’re experiencing on Earth. The outermost “planet,” Pluto, put down stakes in the Air sign of Aquarius late last year. In March, Neptune entered the Fire sign of Aries. And on July 7th, Uranus—ruler of Aquarius and the closest of the three outer planets—arrives in the Air sign of Gemini. It’s very rare for this trio to make such major shifts in short order, and the trend from Earth to Air and from Water to Fire flips the cosmic switch from yin to yang. With Uranus, the planet of revolution and chaos trekking through the highly changeable sign of the Twins now, the atmosphere becomes even more volatile. We’re also in a season of planets turning retrograde, but since Neptune and Saturn only showed up in Aries on March 30th and May 24th respectively, their slowdowns (Neptune on July 4th and Saturn on the 12th) might feel like a temporary reprieve from the relentless march forward into unknown territory. They’ll even dip back into Pisces in the fall, briefly returning us to more familiar waters. It almost seems like an afterthought to mention that Mercury will also be in reverse—from July 17th to August 11th. The only thing constant is change!

Read both your Sun sign and your rising sign (Ascendant) below. If you don’t know what sign was rising when you were born, you can calculate your birth chart here to find out.
Cancer: Water, cardinal.

CANCER

June 21–July 22

When amiable Venus aligns with free-spirited Uranus in your network zone on July 4th, spontaneous fun with friends is in the cards. The same old thing won’t appeal to you now, so make a point of seeking out new people or at least go in search of a novel adventure with your squad. Say yes to any large gatherings that come up. You’re apt to have a better time in a crowd than hanging one-on-one. And it should feel fairly easy to strike up a friendship with someone who stimulates you. All the being said, Venus slips into your spirit-and-solitude corner just a few hours later that same morning.
After that, there will be times over the next few weeks when you’ll be more inclined to enjoy your own company or spend private time with someone close to you. You might take care of a loved one or put someone’s desires before your own during, but be sure not to overdo selflessness. Several hours later, ethereal Neptune begins backpedaling across your ambition angle, and it may dawn on you over the next several months that an objective you’ve been shooting for doesn’t strike a chord in you anymore. Or perhaps a status you’re coveting or an image you hope to uphold doesn’t ring true. Neptune is shrouding the path ahead of you in mystery, calling for you to take your ego out of the equation and stay open to a higher calling, whatever it may be. You’ll likely feel lost at times, but the false fantasies need to recede before you can discover what’s real. On July 7th, anarchic Uranus shows up in your spirit-and-solitude corner, offering a four-monthlong sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring. He’ll be sending shockwaves through your subconscious, triggering unexpected events and disclosures that could originate from your own subliminal signals or motives. Anything you’ve hidden from yourself and from others is likely to surface, and past actions will have a way of catching up with you. This is an ideal period for facing what you’ve repressed so it no longer has the ability to disrupt your life. You’d do well to seek insights into your unconscious mind because self-awareness can prevent self-sabotage. Examine seeming surprises, looking for their possible root causes. As Venus harmonizes with potent, profound Pluto soon after, private time with someone close to you may call up powerful emotions, while peaceful solitude can transform your psychological state. If you start a relationship now, it will probably be rather secret and intense. A Full Moon in your interpersonal sector on the 10th could bring an important relationship to the boiling point. You might leap to the next level of commitment, call timeout or walk away for good. In any case, this shift has probably been in the works for a while. Do your best to balance your own interests with those of others and let them have the spotlight for the moment. After ambitious Saturn shifts into reverse on the 12th, you may not feel like you’re making much progress. For the next few months, you’ll be reviewing your goals and your professional path and should rethink any objectives that aren’t relevant to who you are today. Double check whether you’re leaving out any essential steps in your long-term plans. This retrograde phase can ultimately fortify your determination to make your mark in the world. You’re poised to take on more responsibility and achieve big things, but it won’t happen overnight. Take the time to set yourself up for success. After mental Mercury starts its own retrograde phase in your worth house on July 17th, your financial judgment won’t be entirely sound for the next few weeks. Unless money is no object, you should probably curb the urge to splurge. It’s a good time to review your budget and make tweaks or sort through your belongings and declutter. Postpone financial negotiations and be prepared for fiscal snags like a late payment. As the radiant Sun segues into that house (exiting Cancer) on the 22nd, your focus shifts from who you are to what you have and what you need. The Sun can help shine the necessary light on your financial situation, possessions and personal values—and re-prioritize accordingly. Since Venus is sparring with driven Mars on July 23rd, one side of you may be enjoying your own company (or that of someone special), while another side of you is motivated to get out and do something. Or perhaps you’re torn between giving up your own desires and standing up for yourself. It’s not easy to pinpoint what you need while Mercury is in reverse, so don’t force the issue. A Sun-Saturn confab on the 24th encourages you to focus some energy on your goals and concrete basics. Try to understand what your top priorities are, and be willing to take on more responsibility. The Sun’s mashup with Neptune hours later suggests that when you harness a sense of purpose, you can do creative or spiritually meaningful work. Don’t hold back what you have to offer the world. Not long after that, a New Moon invites you to develop a fresh source of income, utilize a hidden talent, consider your material needs and set practical financial goals. This is a time for evaluating your assets and resources and concentrating on what’s most important and valuable in your life. As the Sun spars with Pluto on July 25th, you’re likely to identify strongly with your personal needs, which can make it more difficult to strike a good balance of give and take. Do your best to avoid a power struggle. With Venus dancing into your sign on July 30th, where it will linger until August 25th, you’ll find it easy to get along with people and enjoy life. You’ll be in a sociable, pleasant mood and feeling your most attractive and charming—stacking the odds in your favor that the next few weeks will be full of warmth, affection and fun.

Leo: Fire, fixed.

LEO

July 23–August 22

On July 4th, a summit between charming Venus and gamechanger Uranus at the top of your chart could bring you unexpected notice, so be prepared to shine. You might cross paths with a potential mentor while you’re socializing or be handed a networking opportunity. A connection has the power to change your career or enhance your public image now. Take advantage by keeping a high profile and mingling. After amiable Venus sashays into your groups zone soon that same morning, you may become more interested in hanging out with your friends than dazzling higher-ups.
Your outgoing mood makes this a good month for all kinds of communal activities, so get out and see people whenever possible. As ethereal Neptune shifts into reverse several hours later, your concept of what’s real and true could be thrown off, so be sure to look before you leap in the months ahead. Try to get comfortable in the realm of uncertainty. Your personal opinions, spiritual beliefs, worldview and visions of the future are in flux. You’re reframing the big picture and might be tempted to buy into notions that seem to bring more certainty and make you feel more secure. Try not to dwell on personal vulnerability. Instead, attune to the unity of all living beings and show compassion. On the 7th, radical Uranus cruises into your groups zone, offering a four-month long sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring. Changes in your social circle and in some friendships themselves will occur. You’ll gravitate to fresh faces, but peer pressure can also convince you to take off in a different direction by yourself, since this transit promotes individualism. People you already know will be unpredictable at times, and you may feel like they’re behaving erratically. Soon after that, when Venus vibes with intense Pluto in your relationship realm, you could form a strong connection. It’s likely to be a platonic one, but a friend might turn into a potential love interest. If you meet someone new who interests you, it will probably be in a group setting. A Full Moon lights up your efficiency corner on July 10th, giving you your annual push to quit a bad habit. Get ready to give up a major time waster that’s diminishing the quality of your daily life. You might also drop something from your schedule, eliminate something from your diet, leave a job or complete a work project. If you’re hit with a crisis now, it’s likely to impact your work life, health or overall productivity and can point to changes you need to implement going forward. Prudent Saturn pivots retrograde on July 12th, cautioning you to calculate the risks you take over the course of the next few months. You’re asking big questions about life, and your quest for answers will take the form of internal processing. You don’t have the ability to broaden your horizons in leaps and bounds now, so focus on formulating your personal philosophy and mapping out your vision of the future instead. With messenger Mercury rolling retrograde in your sign from July 17th to August 11th, your judgment will be someone clouded, and you’ll find it harder to express yourself clearly. Hold off on making big decisions. Let it slide for now if you feel like people don’t understand you. Private reflection will be more fruitful anyway. Your ruler, the vibrant Sun, sails into Leo on July 22nd, kicking off your birthday season and infusing you with energy. This solar cycle provides you with a yearly excuse to be more self-centered and do what’s best for YOU. You can make a strong impression in the month ahead, so proudly strut onto centerstage, soak up the spotlight and do your thing. Venus’s skirmish with feisty Mars in your worth zone on the 23rd could make it difficult to figure out if you should go along to get along or protect your own interests, especially since mental Mercury is rogue. You might fall out with a group over priorities, values, belongings or money if you dig your heels in, so look for compromises that don’t cost you anything. When the Leo Sun gels with Saturn on the 24th, you can channel your vitality into learning, traveling, sharing knowledge, having new experiences and striving to master something that will allow you to reach your goals. Aim for systematic expansion and try to play the game of life in accordance with your personal philosophy. The same link between the Sun and ethereal Neptune later that day can inspire you to lose yourself in a transcendent experience. You might take a trip, explore religion and spirituality or learn about people, places and ideals that are foreign to you. This planetary pairing can make you feel deeply connected to something that is greater than yourself. Right after that, a New Moon in your sign invites you to reinvent yourself in some way. What signals are you sending out? Are you conveying your true intentions? How do you present yourself to others? What is your communication style like, and are you satisfied with it? Would you like to play with your appearance and show off a different side of yourself? Now would normally be the time to change up your image, but don’t do anything drastic while Mercury is in reverse. The Sun goes toe to toe with Pluto on July 25th, intensifying your one-on-one encounters. You might get defensive if you feel like someone’s trying to control you. Do stand up to a bully, but don’t get pulled into a power struggle. With Venus slipping into your solitude corner on July 30th, you may want to split your time between circulating among plenty of people to celebrate your birthday season in style and enjoying peaceful private time when you’re craving that.

Virgo: Earth, mutable.

VIRGO

August 23–September 22

A sudden attraction to someone surprising could spice up your life on July 4th, thanks to a close encounter between appealing Venus and unpredictable Uranus in your exploration corner. If you usually go for a certain type or have a list of criteria you’d like prospective partners to meet, this planetary pair convinces you to be more open-minded and adventurous. Regardless of your relationship status, you may feel uplifted when you’re talking to a person who’s really different from you or when you encounter another culture or way of life. You’re craving excitement, so seek out people, places and ideas outside your everyday realm.
Soon after that, as Venus ascends to your ambition angle, you’ll become more focused on polishing your public image and making a good impression on higher-ups like your boss. Between now and July 30th, you might do more creative work in your career or be drawn to someone who can guide you on your path. Foggy Neptune turns retrograde hours later, which could stall an outside resource, put a close connection in limbo or lure you to sort through an emotional matter during the next few months. If you’ve been in the process of healing from a crisis, wound or loss, don’t force matters. And if you’re a bit bewildered by sharing and intimacy, resist a desire to press for progress. Clarity will elude you, causing you to make iffy choices. But do dig around in your psyche, contemplating what you discover there. With radical Uranus sailing into your ambition angle on the 7th, you’ll get a four-month long sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring. Plot twists are coming in your career. New opportunities will arise, and you could change industries. If you’re not expressing your authentic self in your occupation, contemplate what unique contribution you want to make to the world and keep an open mind about alternative paths. You may get an urge to rebel against authority or even quit your job, especially if your superiors are limiting your path forward or you’re bored with your work. You need more freedom to pursue your true calling, and that might entail starting over. Venus syncs up with intense Pluto in your productivity corner on July 7th, hinting that all the hard work you’ve been doing will boost your appeal with power players such as a boss or mentor. If you’re hoping your creativity will get you noticed, your determined efforts could pay off now. Earning favor with someone in a position to help you get ahead could have a transformative effect on your job situation—so keep a high profile when it matters. A Full Moon in your joy sector on the 10th can bring a creative endeavor to completion or spur you to get out and play to your heart’s content. You might divulge your feelings for someone or share your passion in some other way. A love affair can sizzle or fizzle under this influence, and there are bound to be strong emotions involved. You have a need to express who you are and might show off a little. Go ahead! With cautious Saturn doing a 180 in your depth-and-merging house on July 12th, a joint venture, financial arrangement, close relationship or passion project may stall. Over the course of the next four and a half months, you’ll be coming to grips with what needs to change in a relationship. Be prepared to face your fears if they are standing in your way. After your ruling planet, messenger Mercury, goes off the grid in your retreat corner on the 17th, you may feel like you’re in a fog. Don’t force anything. You might step back from socializing and turn your attention to memories, buried emotions, dreams, spirituality and the like. Since this is such an internal period, you’re not functioning at your best in the outside world, so it makes sense to seek peaceful solitude so you can reflect. After the Sun slips into that part of your chart on the 22nd, your energy is sure to wane, as your solar year is drawing to a close. Tie up loose ends, get plenty of rest, pay attention to your dreams and let go of any regrets. This is your month to look back over the past, release it and recharge your battery. On July 23rd, Venus argues with assertive Mars in your sign. You might forget for a moment that you need to curry favor with certain decision makers and play the game if you want to advance your agenda. Make a point of impressing VIPs. Positive PR can boost your motivation, and someone senior to you could greenlight your initiative. The Sun’s chemistry with Saturn on July 24th favors restorative seclusion. Focused introspection and quality time with someone close to you are likely to be productive. Hours later, the Sun forms the same angle with Neptune, giving you a chance to forge a powerful connection with yourself or someone you’re close to. Carve out alone time or private time with a loved one. A couple of hours after that, the New Moon in your retreat corner gives you an additional nudge to attend to your inner life. You might opt to begin a new spiritual practice or release something that has been weighing on your mind. The Sun’s faceoff with Pluto on the 25th pits your need for R and R against the necessity of getting tons done. Don’t feel pressured to take on one more thing. Balance work and rest to avoid burnout. Venus dances into your network house on the 30th and hangs around for most of August, making it easy to get along with people. You’ll want to see your friends as much as possible and will enjoy large gatherings even more than one-on-one time.

Libra: Air, cardinal.

LIBRA

September 23–October 22

You might get close to someone all of a sudden or find you need more personal space in an intimate relationship when your ruler—desirous Venus—and unpredictable Uranus tango in your sharing sector on July 4th, Sex can be unconventional with this cosmic combo, which might translate to hooking up with someone surprising or experimenting in bed. You’re craving change, so if you’re in a committed relationship, spicing things up can prevent your eye from wandering. You may also receive support (perhaps financial) that you weren’t expecting. Or you could develop a pleasant obsession out of the blue—not necessarily for a person.
After pleasant Venus pirouettes into your expansion zone later that morning, the appeal of difference grows. For the next few weeks, you’ll probably prefer interactions with a range of fresh faces rather than intense one-on-one time with someone you already know. And you might be drawn to people who are nothing like you—or nothing like your usual type if you have one and you’re dating. With chimerical Neptune shifting into reverse in your partnership angle hours later, you could realize you’ve been idealizing an individual or giving up too much in a relationship. If you’re trying to help someone who needs you, your own interests can get lost in the equation. Take the rose-colored glasses off to view the reality of another person and the real nature of the bond between you. You haven’t necessarily glossed over a harsh truth that must be faced. Maybe things are just a bit different than they appeared—not worse. Still, you should know that if you resume a relationship in the next few months, it probably won’t be the most straightforward move. On July 7th, radical Uranus marches into your expansion zone, providing you with a four-month long sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring. Some events that take place during this period will challenge your belief system, and if you can manage to avoid overidentifying with your personal views, you may find this to be an exciting time in your life. You’ll discover new ways of seeing the world and gain insights that foment your growth. New travels, studies and interactions will widen your lens. Keep a flexible outlook, but don’t assume your POV has been invalid all this time. You’re being called to look at life from a different angle, not to discard all your existing beliefs. When Venus harmonizes with intense Pluto in your joy sector soon after that, you’ll have even more incentive to get off the beaten path and explore unaccustomed pleasures. The foreign, not the familiar, has the potential to elicit strong feelings. Whether you’re seeking a person, place or thing, venturing beyond habitual boundaries could prove deeply fulfilling. As a Full Moon lights up your foundation angle on the 10th, drama on the home front or a change in your family could be imminent. You might finish a domestic project or attend to a personal situation that grabs your attention. A mood swing can cause you to crave solitude in a peaceful, quiet environment, and this is a great time to up your self-care game. Once Saturn pivots retrograde on July 12th, the lessons you’ve been learning about relationships will entail fewer external developments and more internal processing. If you’re single and looking for love, you’ll contemplate what you want and need from a future partner and what worked and didn’t work in past relationships. You might decide to break up with someone or tap the brakes if you’ve been heading toward a commitment and have serious reservations. Messenger Mercury shifts into reverse in your humanity house on the 17th. Between then and August 11th, you can reconnect with old friends, acquaintances and contacts. Steer clear of gossip, back up all your devices and postpone buying tech. Give some thought to the circle of people in your life and whether you’re bringing out the best in each other. As the radiant Sun sets up shop in that part of your chart on the 22nd for a month long tour, your social life will receive an energy boost despite Mercury’s backspin. You’ll feel revitalized in large gatherings, even if group relations are complicated by potential miscommunication. Venus squares off with fiery Mars in your subconscious sector on July 23rd, and you might undermine your own desire to branch out by doing something that ends up depriving you of pleasure. Try to be aware of the impulse to work against yourself, and be willing to confront a dysfunctional behavior pattern if you identify one. A Sun-Saturn conference on July 24th encourages you to interact with others because they’re likely to take you seriously. Teamwork and professional networking can help you to prove yourself in some way, so don’t spend too much time flying solo. The Sun holds the same summit with Neptune soon after that, allowing you to gel with other individuals and see the best in them. You might also be moved to do something kind for someone you care about or to join forces on a charitable endeavor. Hours later, the New Moon favors a new collaboration or friendship, and you might choose to join an organization or launch a charitable endeavor soon. As the Sun goes head to head with Pluto on the 25th, you could experience friction between pursuing your passions and clicking with a group. Drama might be brewing if someone is trying to dominate you—or vice versa. With Venus sailing into your ambition angle on July 30th, where she’ll remain until August 25th, you can easily charm higher-ups and earn accolades, especially for your creative work. Don’t shy away from self-promotion when public relations are highlighted.

Scorpio: Water, fixed.

SCORPIO

October 23–November 21

A person could take you by surprise on the 4th, due to a Venus-Uranus get-together in your relationship realm. Maybe you’ll run into somebody unexpectedly or form an unusual bond. If an individual pulls away, give them breathing room and do your own thing. A disruption in one of your closest connections is hard to avoid now. See it as a sign to try something new. Whether it’s a new approach to an existing relationship or a new relationship altogether, you’re due for a shakeup. Soon after, Venus segues into your depth-and-merging zone, increasing your craving for closeness. A romantic union could intensify, and other important relationships can deepen as well.
With ethereal Neptune turning retrograde hours later, you’ll be pondering the quality of your everyday life. Resist the allure of perfection and don’t push for overnight success. Examine your diet and exercise regimens. Do you have the energy to be productive? Do you feel strong and healthy? Or stressed? Consider your job and whether you feel fulfilled and useful. Ask yourself if your routine accurately reflects your priorities. Are you dealing with health issues head-on? Do you have a sense of an ultimate mission that inspires you day in and day out? Ease off the gas and take all of this one step at a time. On the 7th, unpredictable Uranus moves into your depth-and-merging zone, providing you with a four-month long sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring. Outside resources are due to fluctuate, so your S.O.’s income might dip, or you might receive an unexpected grant or inheritance. Be prepared to ride out some instability involving the support you get from others. You could become involved with someone who’s unusual or undependable. New sexual partners may enter and exit your life with greater frequency. You’re liable to have liberating revelations that can help you grow emotionally. As Venus gels with your ruler, Pluto, on the 7th, deep-seated feelings could intensify a significant bond. Processing private emotions can facilitate self-acceptance. It’s important to come to terms with the entire truth of what’s inside you. Loving your whole self is a prerequisite for healthy relationships. The Full Moon of July 10th could make you feel overstimulated and pulled in many different directions. You might receive news, blurt out your feelings or deal with a development involving your community or siblings. Take a breath and try not to get overwhelmed by a flurry of busyness or ideas. As Saturn shifts into reverse on the 12th, check in with your body. If stress is taking a toll on your health, you might pare down your to-do list or streamline your schedule. Refine the systems that keep your everyday life going. If something isn’t enabling you to function well, change it. Figure out what’s working and what isn’t, then put a better plan in place. With Mercury rolling retrograde from July 17th until August 11th, you won’t be able to articulate your objectives as coherently as you’d like or craft foolproof plans for accomplishing them. Communication with higher-ups may be a minefield. Reevaluate your career path and revise your aspirations so they’re relevant to the person you are today. Are you aiming for something you’ve lost your passion for? If so, now’s your chance to look at different options. With the Sun soaring into your ambition angle on the 22nd, however, you’ll feel driven to shine in your career. Show—don’t tell—what you can do in the month ahead. Be willing to assume a leadership role or more responsibility. As Venus quarrels with fiery Mars on July 23rd, part of you desires closeness, and part of you may prefer to play the field. Sex is likely to be intense but complicated, especially if you’re attracted to a friend. Opening yourself up to others can make you feel vulnerable, but you’re not meant to go it alone now. Relationship conflict can probably be traced to issues around trust, loyalty, jealousy, personal space and the like, and sparks may fly. Don’t try to hash it out right this moment. With Mercury retrograde, it’s hard to reach an understanding. The Sun syncs up with diligent Saturn on the 24th, helping you to put your best foot forward in a professional or public setting, especially if you know you’ve earned recognition. If you’ve been working hard to improve your skills, time management, habits, problem solving, productivity, energy level or work ethic, you could see it starting to pay off. You might make significant progress with a goal or receive praise from someone in authority. Meeting everyday demands will keep you on track for long-term success. If you’re called on to perform, you’ll be glad you’ve had your nose to the grindstone. The Sun forms the same angle to Neptune hours later, suggesting that your creative work or skills that benefit others will further fuel your drive to succeed. Draw on those abilities and let your need to be useful motivate you to keep pursuing your goals. A sense of progress will have a positive effect on your overall well-being. That same day, a New Moon can inspire you to craft a business plan, set a new objective, start a fresh chapter in your career or chart a different course in your life. A Sun-Pluto faceoff on July 25th hints that balancing your public and private lives will be a challenge. Turbulent emotions or problems at home can make it harder for you to go out and shine. After Venus dances into your exploration corner on July 30th, the appeal of difference grows. Between then and August 25th, seek love, beauty and pleasure beyond your habitual boundaries.

Sagittarius: Fire, mutable.

SAGITTARIUS

November 22–December 21

You might do an impromptu favor for someone you like when Venus and Uranus coalesce on July 4th. Or creative inspiration could strike, allowing you to do valuable, innovative work. You’re seeking stimulation from your everyday life and might get bored with people who are wedded to doing things a certain way. Be open to interacting with different individuals and trying various approaches. If you can accomplish something while breaking out of the same old routine, you’ll be satisfied. That same morning, Venus enters your interpersonal angle, putting you in an agreeable mood and making it easy to compromise and show affection during the next few weeks.
With Neptune spinning retrograde hours later, your lens on love, happiness and self-expression will be recalibrated. If you’ve been yearning for the unattainable and suffering from divine discontent, letting go of illusions will help you make space for what’s real and attainable. You don’t have to sacrifice dreams in order to look at romance and personal fulfillment from a more realistic angle. Are you waiting for someone to save you or trying to save someone else? That common pitfall of this transit is just one of the ways we can deceive ourselves. Imagine another possible story about what or who brings you joy, feeds your soul and deserves your whole heart. Uranus arrives in your interpersonal angle on the 7th, providing you with a four-month long sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring. If you’re in a relationship that isn’t good for you, it could come to an end. Even the best relationship won’t go unchanged. Uranus indicates your one-on-one connections are due for a shakeup. You might meet lots of eccentric people or become involved with someone who brings excitement to your life. Other individuals will seem unpredictable, and you could get into an unstable relationship. This transit offers an opportunity to break out of old relationship patterns though. If you tend to form tight bonds, you might maintain more distance now or accept that someone needs space. Consider what unconscious signals you send out and what changes you can make that will help you align with the changes taking place in your close connections. A coalition between Venus and Pluto on the 7th suggests a deep mental connection and powerful dialogue are possible. A difficult conversation can lead to harmony and understanding between you and another person, so be strong and say what you really feel. Make a point of reaching out to people. Someone can transform your mindset for the better. It’s hard to distinguish between need and want when a Full Moon rocks your resources house on the 10th. Retail therapy is a big temptation now. Whatever you require (or desire), that feeling will be strong. There’s no guarantee that indulging your whims will gratify you—because the pleasure is probably part fantasy. But a financial splurge isn’t a foregone conclusion. You might also receive a windfall, particularly if you’ve been waiting for a payment. When Saturn starts backtracking on the 12th, that’s another signal to question what will make you truly happy. Rather than chasing after what you think you want, look into your heart. What makes you who you are, and what do you feel called to contribute? How can you best express your uniqueness? You might look to the past for answers, and an ex (or other symbol of pleasure or passion) might resurface. Mercury’s U-turn on July 17th warns you to look before you leap during the next few weeks. Differences of opinion will arise, and you could get into debates where neither person understands the other’s POV. Don’t overstate your case. Try to filter your thoughts and edit your words between now and August 11th. Travel delays and detours are also par for the course, so practice patience. After the Sun soars into your exploration sector on the 22nd, you’re energized by learning experiences and adventures. The allure of difference could send you in search of fresh horizons. Venus has a run-in with fiery Mars on July 23rd, which might generate friction in a relationship if you’re headed in different directions and don’t have a common objective. Focus on maintaining mutual respect and motivating each other to succeed—separately or together. When the radiant Sun meshes with determined Saturn on July 24th, exploring new places and beliefs, meeting different people, studying an unfamiliar subject and branching out in every way possible can enable you to learn what you’re capable of. Break out of your routine to give yourself growth opportunities. You probably won’t have much trouble finding the right balance between caution and risk. Areas that are likely to benefit from your applied effort are creativity, romance, interactions with children and your capacity for amusement, love and happiness. Perhaps it sounds counterintuitive, but you’re at a point where you may need to work on having more fun! The Sun is also in sync with Neptune that day, underscoring the idea that getting out of your comfort zone can put the love, creative expression, personal fulfillment and spiritual bliss you yearn for within reach. Hours later, the New Moon encourages you to embrace a new personal philosophy, take a trip, begin a course of study or enjoy an adventure in the weeks ahead—with the caveat that Mercury’s retrograde phase can throw a wrench in some of these pursuits. The Sun’s standoff with Pluto on the 25th warns that an argument could get tense. Don’t show all your cards or focus on winning this battle. After Venus dives into your sharing sector on the 30th, you’ll crave closeness over the next few weeks. Your most important relationships could deepen while you prioritize one-on-one quality time.

Capricorn: Earth, cardinal.

CAPRICORN

December 22–January 19

With alluring Venus and unpredictable Uranus canoodling in your fulfillment house on July 4th, you could be in for a surprise in your love life. A romance may ignite out of the blue, or you—or the object of your affections—may feel the need to take a break or even call it quits. Spontaneous fun gets a green light, so say yes to new experiences that come your way. This planetary pairing can also indicate a creative breakthrough if you’re working on anything that requires inventiveness and artistry. Soon after that, Venus segues into your efficiency corner, helping you to get along well with coworkers, enjoy your everyday interactions and maybe do some more creative work.
It’s a good month to beautify your workspace if it could use a makeover. With Neptune beginning to backpedal across your foundation angle hours later, you may start to contemplate your home and family and consider what makes you feel comfortable and nurtured. During the next few months, you could experiment with different ways of decorating your space, but a big move might have to wait. A healing professional like a psychotherapist could be helpful to you if you’re attempting to process issues that stem from childhood. Setting firm boundaries with family members and/or roommates can also empower you. Uranus soars into your efficiency corner on the 7th, providing you with a four-month long sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring, catalyzing changes connected with your work and wellness. You might become a freelancer, and you’re likely to move from one job to another. Look for fresh challenges if you’re in a rut. Since Uranus rules technology, it’s also a good idea to become more tech savvy. The revolutionary planet champions liberation, and if you don’t align with the change that’s in the air, a health issue might compel you to alter your everyday life. It can be appropriate now to try alternative health options, experiment with your eating habits and workouts and switch up the systems that get you through the day. Stay flexible, because circumstances can shift sporadically. As Venus vibes with transformative Pluto in your resources realm about an hour later, decluttering your desk might be especially satisfying. That transit also points to an ideal link between loving what you’re doing and gaining control over your finances. Creative work could pay off now. If you need to work on problems in a relationship, you’ll be able to find the tools to do so, plus you’ll feel better about yourself when you make the effort. Capricorn plays host to the Full Moon on July 10th, so don’t be surprised if you get emotional and have to vent or go off by yourself for a while. Let people know what you need from them so you can avoid a meltdown. You’re entitled to put yourself first, as long as you try to avoid trampling on other people’s feelings and rights. This is the best lunation of the year for noting what—or who—seems to be past its natural expiration date in your life. If you’re pushed to the brink, see if you can pinpoint a specific problem or person that has you on edge. It might be time to end things amicably and move on. Your ruling planet, serious Saturn, pivots retrograde at the base of your chart on July 12th, prompting you to think hard about your living situation and the best long-term solution, not a quick fix. If you’ve been grappling with childhood memories, family matters and private feelings such as insecurity, you could decide to consult a healing professional who can help you come to terms with them. Mercury follows suit on the 17th, shifting into reverse for a few weeks in your intensity zone and making you more introspective. Don’t try to explain yourself during this period. Stick to plumbing the depths of your psyche for nuggets of truth. If you start obsessing over an ex, know that rekindling the flame won’t be without complications. After the illuminating Sun dives into that same part of your chart on the 22nd for a month long visit, you can shine a light on a personal issue, endeavor or relationship that you feel strongly about and give it your all. Venus has a tiff with brash Mars on July 23rd that could give you an urge to escape your everyday life even if you’re enjoying what you’re doing. It might also mess up your rapport with colleagues if you’re inclined to argue over a difference of opinion. Hold onto the pleasant sense of purpose you’ve got going, and choose your battles. When the Sun dovetails with Saturn on July 24th, intimacy and introspection can help you get in touch with your emotions, so push past any fears of getting in too deep. A similar Sun-Neptune rendezvous that same day further encourages you to prioritize private time on your own or with someone you care about, as it’s bound to soothe your soul. You may be able to heal a family wound by shedding light on something that was hidden and finding forgiveness. Hours later, a New Moon coaxes you to share your life with another person, recover from a crisis, loss or wound, solve a mystery or transform something—perhaps something within yourself. As the Sun goes toe to toe with Pluto on July 25th, feeling unsure of yourself or worrying about getting what you need is likely to complicate closeness. But once Venus sails into your interpersonal angle on the 30th, one-on-one relating should feel somewhat easier. And even though communicator Mercury is retrograde, causing misunderstandings, a pleasant vibe can help keep the peace.

Aquarius: Air, fixed.

AQUARIUS

January 20–February 18

As amiable Venus and your ruling planet—unorthodox Uranus—meet up in your domestic zone on July 4th, a family member or housemate may catch you by surprise. If a relationship is becoming too cozy and familiar, you might find yourself doing something unplanned to liven it up or disrupt it. Indulging in the pleasures of home could bring unexpected joy, and this is an excellent transit for throwing a last-minute party. You’re in the mood for some excitement, but you’re also happy to stay in—perfect combo for an impromptu holiday cookout or picnic. After Venus waltzes into your joy sector that same day, you’ll start to feel like getting out and having fun.
Romance might be in the air this month, or you might set aside more time for hobbies and creative pursuits. With illusory Neptune going rogue hours later, your attitude is due to shift over the next few months, and you may feel like you’re on a different wavelength when you’re communicating with people. Any false assumptions you’ve been operating under are about to become more apparent, causing you to rethink your choices. This is an excellent time to reread and rewrite and revisit places you miss. You could also reconnect with a sibling, old neighbor or childhood friend. Mixed signals can come to light if anyone has misconstrued your meaning. Uranus surges into your joy sector on the 7th, providing you with a four-month long sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring. It’s time to think outside the box where personal fulfillment is concerned. Date outside your comfort zone. Explore a wide variety of interests and diversions. Dabble in different forms of creativity. Liberate your quirks. Say yes to spontaneous fun. Love affairs could spark up and disappear quickly, or you might be attracted to unconventional types. Because this house governs creation, recreation and procreation, and Uranus loves surprises, unplanned pregnancies aren’t uncommon during this transit. So, between now and November 7th (and then from April 2026 until May 2033), be diligent about using effective birth control 24/7 unless you’re trying to conceive. Venus links with intense Pluto in your sign soon after, suggesting that joy, love, creativity and play can have a profound effect on you. You’ll get a surprising amount of satisfaction from channeling your passion into seemingly simple pleasures. Open your heart and show your feelings. Let people see the real you, even if it requires giving up the control you’re craving. The Full Moon in your spirit sector on July 10th can bring something to light that’s been buried in your subconscious, and your dreams, intuition and imagination can carry messages. You may require time alone to rest and reflect. Tune into what your body and soul need. If you’ve been working nonstop, this lunation can make you realize you’re headed for burnout and it’s necessary to refill your tank. After serious Saturn goes retrograde on the 12th, you may start second-guessing yourself more. Keep examining the premises you’ve taken to be fact, striving to become increasingly aware of how your mind works and how that shapes your reality. Consider the way you communicate and how that affects your interactions. Don’t rush decisions. Weigh your options judiciously. Messenger Mercury’s reversal on the 17th nudges you to review your relationships and the agreements—spoken and unspoken—you have with other individuals. It may be time to revisit terms or a specific problem. But if you start rehashing an old argument and talking at cross-purposes, table the discussion until clearer heads prevail in the second half of August. Jumping to conclusions and overreacting is tempting, but give people the benefit of the doubt. Merc retro is famous for causing misunderstandings. After the radiant Sun enters your interpersonal angle on July 22nd, your one-to-one bonds will receive a boost of vitality, and you’ll thrive on spending quality time with the VIPs in your life. You can learn more about yourself through your relationships than by flying solo in the month ahead. Venus’s skirmish with bold Mars in your intensity realm on July 23rd creates a mix of desire and friction. A strong attraction may spark intimacy, and sex and romance will be an exciting but potentially complicated mix. Personal pleasure and partnership might be at odds, generating a conflict that’s difficult to resolve in a conversation, due to Mercury retrograde. Don’t rush into a decision if you feel cornered. Fortunately, as the Sun joins forces with Saturn on the 24th, mature, straightforward communication may enable you to come to an understanding with someone. The Sun shares a similar confab with Neptune hours later, allowing you to put yourself in others’ shoes and express your kindness. One-on-one communication can get into a better flow now, despite Mercury’s backspin. You’re capable of picking up on subtle signals, which will help matters. Not long after that, a New Moon hints at a new relationship possibly coming down the pike. Or if you already have a significant other, you might progress to a new level of commitment. You could also redefine an existing connection or become increasingly aware of your need for healthy, supportive relationships. The Sun has a faceoff with Pluto in Aquarius on the 25th. If you want to avoid conflict, you should probably loosen your grip. You feel better calling the shots, but there’s a good chance you’ll come on too strong if you insist on being the one in the driver’s seat. After Venus arrives in your efficiency corner on July 30th, it should feel easier to work on a relationship, get along well with colleagues and produce creative work.

Pisces: Water, mutable.

PISCES

February 19–March 20

When pleasant Venus meets up with surprising Uranus on July 4th, you might bump into someone you like unexpectedly or enjoy an impromptu interaction—possibly with a neighbor or sibling. Creative ideas could strike like lightning, and you may want to keep track of them, since they may leave as fast as they came. Happy thoughts will flit through your head, putting you in an upbeat mood. Meeting new people will stimulate you, and you’re likely to have engaging conversations. You might also relish a quick trip or explore an unfamiliar area nearby. But soon after that, Venus dips down to the cozy base of your chart, putting you in the mood for nesting.
In the next few weeks, you might turn into a domestic god(dess), cooking, baking, throwing parties, hosting houseguests and sprucing up your décor. You may savor time with family, childhood friends or roommates or crave slightly decadent alone time at Chez Pisces. With your ruler, elusive Neptune, turning retrograde hours later, start to examine the reality of your finances and possessions during the next few months. If you’ve been deceiving yourself in some way, do your best to face facts and mull over the best way of proceeding. Accept your mistakes and forgive yourself. In all likelihood, you were driven by fear and insecurity. And if you’re owed money, it’s a good period for resubmitting invoices and chasing down checks. You might find a creative way to recoup losses. Viewing your personal values and attachment to belongings from a spiritual angle can inspire you to reshuffle your priorities. Uranus descends to your foundation angle on the 7th, providing you with a four-month long sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring. You’ll need to find ways to center yourself now. If you’ve gotten too settled, this disruptive planet is sure to shake things up. You could move suddenly or more than once, and your family could go through unanticipated changes. You might have a revolving door of roommates or live with someone who makes your home life more exhilarating or chaotic. You’ll feel uprooted at times and may cut ties with elements of your past. You can free yourself from patterns you’ve been stuck in for a long time and move beyond the influence of your backstory. As you grapple with high-voltage emotions, you may experience mood swings. When Venus harmonizes with intense Pluto a bit later, dealing with the deep, dark stuff inside you will help you to understand and accept yourself. Psychological change is possible now if you delve into your subconscious and face what you find there. When a Full Moon lands in your groups sector on July 10th, drama in your crew or a friend in need could grab your attention. You might end your affiliation with an organization or feel like a friendship has run its course. A humanitarian effort can blossom, and you should try to balance what’s best for others with what pleases you, perhaps putting the greater good first for the time being. Serious Saturn pivots retrograde on July 12th, prompting you to keep a closer eye on spending. Try to learn more about finances in general so you can feel more in control of yours. You might revise your budget and redistribute resources (particularly if they’re limited) in the next few months. Use everything you have at your disposal as wisely as you can, and try not to focus on what you lack. Examine your relationship with money and possessions. It has an effect on what you draw into your life. Your self-worth also colors your attitude toward money and material goods. If you don’t believe you deserve abundance, attracting it is all the more difficult. Mercury shifts into reverse on the 17th, which could cause you to stress out over details and perhaps miss some salient points during the next few weeks. Crossed wires on the job can cause headaches. Read the fine print and edit what you send out. Spend time revising your work, doing research, relearning a skill and maybe reconnecting with a former coworker. Reapplying for a job now might pay off after Mercury resumes forward motion on August 11th. Once the vibrant Sun enters your productivity corner on July 22nd, you’ll have more energy to take care of business—tackling your to-do list, job responsibilities and health matters and improving your fitness, despite Mercury’s retrograde making mental work more challenging. A Venus-Mars dustup on July 23rd suggests you’re content to enjoy the pleasures of home and family, but a commitment to do something with another per can push you out the door. Venus is giving you a desire for familiar surroundings and people, and you’re in no mood to spend time with someone who makes you uncomfortable or is hard to get along with. Don’t take the bait if an individual makes you bristle. A Sun-Saturn coalition on the 24th encourages you to keep working hard, with an eye toward slowly building up your resources. Be stricter with your time, prioritizing whatever you’ve determined is most important to you and cutting out activities that don’t add value to your life. Hours later, a similar Sun-Saturn alliance allows you to draw on your creative talents. Use your highest personal values and priorities as a guide, and they won’t steer you wrong. That same day, a New Moon coaxes you to get on a new schedule, adopt a new habit, begin a diet or exercise regimen, try a different modus operandi and find a novel solution to an old problem. On the 25th, a Sun-Pluto standoff implies dealing with what’s in your subconscious can promote your overall wellness and productivity. After Venus slinks into your joy sector on July 30th, you’ll get even more pleasure from love, creative self-expression, hobbies and playtime with your favorite people.

Aries: Fire, cardinal.

ARIES

March 21–April 19

A Venus-Uranus meetup on the 4th could spell an upswing or dip in your bank balance or your confidence. Your priorities might suddenly be reshuffled as you change your mind about what’s most important to you. If you have an urge to splurge, it will probably be sudden and strong. Resist if you’re on a tight budget and coveting something you don’t need. Soon after, Venus segues into your thinking-and-talking corner, making you less interested in what you have and need and more interested in who and what you know. You’re likely to enjoy spending time out and about in your neighborhood this month and appreciating the beauty in your environment. Your encounters with people should generally be pleasant and rather lighthearted.
With elusive Neptune beginning to backtrack in Aries hours later, you may feel like you’re not making as much progress with your aspirations, but the next few months are a perfect time to pause and regain perspective. Maybe you’ve become wedded to a dream and can’t accurately assess whether there’s an element of fantasy involved. When you identify so strongly with what you long for, deducing what’s real and what’s not is difficult. Now you’ll have some distance that allows you to see the big picture. Consider the image you’re projecting and whether you might be giving up too much for something that isn’t what you’ve imagined it to be. Work on maintaining healthy boundaries and making the impression you want to make. Radical Uranus dashes into your thinking-and-talking corner on July 7th, providing you with a four-month long sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring, revolutionizing your communication and your mindset. Your old perceptions will be turned upside down, forcing you to look at the world from a different angle and see things you’ve never seen before. Flexible thinking is your friend now. You’ll no longer be so sure what you can take for granted. Your everyday dealings with people could be erratic, and the speed of your brain and your everyday interactions seem to pick up. Nervous energy can cause anxiety, but your intellect will be stimulated, leading you to pursue new interests and studies. Hours later, a Venus-Pluto conference boosts group relations. Mingling can lead you to powerful contacts, while hanging with friends can deepen your bonds. Telling a particular person how you feel could strengthen and possibly transform your connection. On July 10th, the Full Moon could bring a big goal to fruition or spell drama with a higher-up like your boss. Your career path or overall life direction may shift, as you look at where you’re headed and recalibrate your objectives. You might find yourself in the spotlight, so be prepared to perform at your best. This is no time to hide what you have to offer the world. Saturn’s U-turn in your sign on the 12th implies more preparation is required for you to accomplish everything you want to accomplish in the world. You need to do some honest soul-searching in the months ahead. Although you may not make visible external progress, if you circle back to fill in the gaps in your ambitious plans, they’ll be airtight later in the year. Messenger Mercury’s about-face on July 17th indicates there’s no such thing as a sure bet. You might rekindle the flame with an ex and regret it later or get your wires crossed with a current crush. The next few weeks are a good time for rereading something for pleasure or revising a piece of creative writing. If you take a lighthearted approach to reconnecting with an ex, you might end up pleasantly surprised. Keep your expectations low and your sense of humor at the ready. Once the radiant Sun arrives in your joy sector on July 22nd, personal pleasure becomes an even bigger priority, and you’ll be inclined to share your true self with others and wear your heart on your sleeve during the month that follows. A Venus-Mars quarrel on the 23rd may mean that you’re in a breezy, chatty mood and really need to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done. Try to juggle work and play as best you can. The objective is to accomplish plenty and still keep your spirits up. The two aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive. Take a break to catch up with a friend or enjoy a walk if the weather’s nice. When the Sun vibes with Saturn in Aries on July 24th, it might be time to say no to something that’s not right for you—something that doesn’t deliver pleasure or fulfillment. Taking yourself seriously will facilitate creativity, romance and other forms of self-expression. The Sun’s similar encounter with Neptune in your sign hours later gives you a chance to be seen for who you really are. Let your individuality and desires shine through. Share your creative gifts with the world. This pairing can help you feel more seen and genuinely connected to those you care for. Soon after that, the New Moon hints that a new hobby, love affair or artistic endeavor may be in the works. Plus, it offers another excuse to get out and enjoy life! The Sun’s faceoff with Pluto on July 25th, however, could leave you torn between marching to the beat of your own drummer and succumbing to peer pressure. You might need to ignore haters and focus on doing your thing. Venus slips into your domestic angle on the 30th, highlighting the pleasures of home and family. Relish peace and quiet when you crave it in the next few weeks, beautify your space and have people over if you want company.

Taurus: Earth, fixed.

TAURUS

April 20–May 20

When your ruler, pleasant Venus, meets up with disruptive Uranus in your sign on July 4th, an urge for independence (how apropos!) or change can lead you to shake up a relationship or seek out new people to keep life interesting. Your desire to avoid stale routine is natural, but if you do something rash like breaking up with a great person or ditching your friends because of FOMO, you might regret it. To liven things up, try doing new things with your significant other if you’re in a happy relationship. If you’re looking for love, thinking outside the box is your best bet. Regardless of your relationship status, spontaneous fun is favored. Soon after that, Venus sails into your worth zone, which could spell financial opportunities this month.
Be warned that your desires might become extravagant, luring you to splurge. With ethereal Neptune shifting into reverse hours later, you’re called to get in touch with private emotions you may have ignored, especially if they made you feel vulnerable. Confusion, alienation, disappointment, regret, guilt, melancholy, longing, self-doubt, emptiness and spiritual query can all be part of Neptune’s transit through your subliminal sector. But so can forgiveness, healing, release, closure, imagination, empathy, selflessness, psychic intuition, spiritual awakening, dreams and a sense of oneness with all of life. Trust in the divine order of the universe to save you from falling into an existential abyss. Uranus finally exits Taurus and moves into your worth zone on the 7th, providing you with a four-month long sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring. Expect ups and downs involving your finances and belongings and prepare to ride them out. The less rigid you are about what you have and what you need, the better off you’ll be during this unpredictable transit. Seek clarity on what is truly most important to you and recognize that your values are changing. Take an honest look at what you base your self-esteem on. Examine your personal relationship with money and things. All of the above will be in flux, and embracing an easy-come-easy-go philosophy will help. If your possessions are somehow burdensome, some may be taken away from you during this period. On the flip side, if you require certain things in order to grow, they may show up in your life. Hours later, Venus’s vibe with transformative Pluto links a shift in your professional path or life direction with your ability to attract what you need. Creative talents can help you accomplish a goal or make a name for yourself. This planetary pairing can also indicate you should make some sort of investment in your career, even if that just means putting more passion into your mission. You might be inspired to take a leap of faith and have an adventure when a Full Moon shines in your exploration corner on the 10th. A strong urge to get out of your comfort zone and try new things might lead to a memorable trip or another type of learning experience. This is the best lunation of the year for looking at your personal beliefs and dropping one that limits your growth. Recognize it for what it is and let it go. Serious Saturn pivots retrograde on the 12th, persuading you to make peace with solitude and go deeper into the internal journey you’re on. You’re working on coming to grips with your past. Be choosy about who’s allowed into your inner sanctum. Sift through old emotions in order to release them. And mine your imagination for riches which, when brought to the surface, can turn into creative gold. With messenger Mercury going off the grid on July 17th, you could become nostalgic and may experience miscommunication with a parent or housemate. A childhood issue could reemerge, and journaling about it could help. Tempted to redecorate? Postpone major decisions and purchases until mid-August. The vibrant Sun arrives in your foundation angle on July 22nd, bringing even more focus to home and family. You might be contemplating your living situation or assessing what will enhance your comfort and emotional security. Venus’s tangle with bold Mars on the 23rd can increase your impulsivity and your readiness to take chances to get what you want. You might miscalculate the cost of pursuing pleasure or the fulfillment you’ll get from satisfying a desire. On July 24th, a Sun-Saturn confab in your roots and seclusion sectors encourages alone time and reflection. Contemplating the past—free of guilt and with the goal of closure—can shed light on what got you to this point in your life. Ultimately, this introspection can enable you to move forward. It’s an appropriate time to weed out old, dysfunctional patterns and leave them behind you. The Sun has a similar meeting with Neptune hours later, offering further encouragement to unwind and let go of anything that is weighing on your soul. Don’t feel compelled to stay busy. The stars are coaxing you to pause and just be rather than do. The New Moon of July 24th alludes to a possible coming change in your home life. You might soon take steps that will increase your inner ease or improve your space. The Sun and Pluto go head to head on July 25th, which might generate tension with authority figures. You could also be torn between resting on your laurels or pushing yourself to make progress. After Venus dances into your thinking-and-talking corner on the 30th, your interactions should be pleasant, and you’ll be more interested in meeting new people. Make a point of appreciating the beauty around you and the warmth in your everyday encounters.

Gemini: Air, mutable.

GEMINI

May 21–June 20

On July 4th, a rendezvous between sweet Venus and abrupt Uranus in your release sector could cause you to suddenly feel over someone at last. Or you might surprise yourself and do something selfless for a person you care about. This planetary placement also hints at a secret affair you may not see coming. Your subconscious desire for newness is calling the shots, so expect the unexpected. Soon after that, Venus sashays into Gemini, sending your magnetism soaring. Not only will you be in a sociable mood, but people will gravitate to you like moths to a flame.
You’re exuding warmth and charm all month and will likely feel like your most attractive, irresistible self. With ethereal Neptune going retrograde hours later, you’ll start to contemplate your friendships and affiliations with groups and consider whether there are any unhealthy dynamics at play. Are you seeing people for who they really are? Did you click with them in the past but you’ve drifted apart? Do you feel out of sync with or misunderstood by your squad? You’ll be sifting through such issues in the months ahead and might pull back from people in the process. Ideally, you’ll be drawn to those who truly support you and share the ideals, interests or goals that you believe they do. During the retrograde phase, you might look at your use of technology and ask yourself whether your social media profiles reflect the real you. On July 7th, radical Uranus shows up in Gemini, providing you with a four-monthl ong sneak preview of a seven-year transit that begins in earnest next spring. Earth-shattering change lies ahead for Twins! If you’ve been in a rut, this progressive planet is here to push you past self-imposed limitations and compel you to rethink your identity. You’ll be breaking out of old patterns and exploring new ways of being you in the world. You might find this period to be jarring at times, but if you embrace the spirit of revolution, Uranus won’t feel the need to force you out of the status quo. You’ll have more say in the changes that take place in your life if you choose to release what no longer serves you. Venus vibes with powerful Pluto on the 7th, inspiring you to enjoy unfamiliar experiences, visit new places and connect with people who are different from you. Such exploration can arouse strong emotions and change how you see the world. A Full Moon lights up your depth-and-merging zone on July 10th, flooding an intimate relationship with feelings or bringing an epiphany about a private, emotionally-charged issue. This lunation can prompt you to settle a debt, give someone the support they need or move past something that has been weighing on your psyche. As serious Saturn begins backtracking in your humanity house on the 12th, you’ll start to examine your group ties, career contacts, friendships and the roles you play in the different circles of people you associate with. What needs to change in order for your connections to flourish? How are they already changing? Do you need to step away from certain people who are toxic? Are you setting good boundaries? Professional networking, team endeavors and digital ventures could be in limbo for a few months. Accept that it’s time to slow down and learn what you need to know if you’re going to have success in those areas. Your ruling planet, messenger Mercury, turns retrograde on the 17th, so even careful listening may not be enough to avert miscommunication over the course of the next few weeks. Proofread everything before you hit send. Be mindful of how you speak to people. Spend time rereading and rewriting. Relearn something you’ve gotten rusty on. Ask questions to verify info. And be patient if getting around town becomes an ordeal. As the vibrant Sun surges into your thinking-and-talking corner on July 22nd, your mind and your daily interactions get an extra dose of vitality. Despite Mercury’s retrograde, it can still be a good month for brainstorming inventive ideas and reconnecting with people from the past. Venus in Gemini scuffles with brash Mars in your domestic angle on the 23rd, so it’s possible that you’ll want to socialize and have too much to take care of at home. Or maybe a housemate or family member seems intent on messing with your good mood. There’s also a chance that irritability will spoil your sincere intention of exuding a pleasant, peaceful vibe. You may not know whether you should try to work things out with people or grab some alone time, and there’s no easy answer. On July 24th, the Sun’s harmony with Saturn prompts you to channel some of your energy into teamwork, professional networking and organized group activities. You could conceive a game plan for meeting goals. The Sun has a similar tête-à-tête with Neptune hours later, suggesting that you’ll gel with friends by putting yourself out there and speaking your truth. If you feel moved to advocate for others, this is a great time to make your voice heard. A Sun-Pluto opposition on the 25th could instigate a heated debate, so stay off the soapbox and resist the urge to score intellectual points. After Venus dances into your worth realm on July 30th, you could tap into money-making opportunities in the next few weeks. But you could also develop a desire to indulge in extravagant treats. Curb the urge to splurge if you’re on a tight budget.
