Uplifting looks inside.

I've never been more in love with my closet.

As I've carefully perfected my lounge look over the past few weeks, I've admittedly neglected the more exciting areas of my wardrobe: playful dresses, eye-catching accessories, structured bottoms. Heck, I haven't worn shoes since Tuesday.

So these days, when I peer into my closet, thumbing through years-worth of treasures, I'm reminded how much I adore some of the pieces in my wardrobe—and how much I want to wear them again.

The long weekend proved to be the ideal time to start thinking about my dream outfits again. Would I strap into my metallic block-heel sandals? Slip into ultra-flare jeans? Maybe slide on dramatic cat-eye sunnies?

Whether you're going for a solo stroll or safely socially distancing with friends, we can all agree: the allure of wearing your favorite outfit is more enticing than ever.

I posed to question to my coworkers, too: what are the outfits you can't wait to be seen in? The photos came pouring in. From leopard print shorts to acid-wash minis, it turns out we'd all been fantasizing about our most playful pieces. Thankfully, they’ve given me permission to share with you, too.

Scroll on for their uplifting words and outfit inspiration.

“I dreeeeaaaam of wearing this look on a sunny weekend day to a cute little restaurant, sitting outside, sipping on a yummy summery cocktail, listening to music, feeling the sun on my skin, and people watching.

Right now I’m really drawn to baby blue so I love how this whole look came together through different shades of it. I’m also a sucker for shell jewelry and COLOR so I loved breaking up the tonal look with pops of pink and rainbow. I love seeing all the little rainbows around during this time and these earrings give you a little piece of that. The jewelry also makes this more structured look more playful.

There’s something about putting on a feminine blouse, heels, and stacks of jewelry that makes me happy.”

“Since being home, my wardrobe has relied heavily on lounge—all in the name of casual style and comfort. When boredom sets in, and I scroll through old photos, I find myself really missing the looks that show my personality and make me feel ME!

I love to 'dress up' and be playful with my style, I’m usually found in playful dresses (something with a cute back detail or interesting silhouette). I chose this pink denim dress for all of these reasons: a standout color, a detailed silhouette.

Being indoors, my signature cat-eye sunnies are begging to be taken for a stroll outside. My dream shoe is a crisp white pair of Vejas, which I love for style and sustainability. In my dreams, I'm wearing this on a stroll to a favorite local restaurant for a leisurely afternoon brunch that involves some natural wine!”

“I am nothing more than a creature of comfort. I abided to my lifelong motto of ‘no pants are the best pants’ as soon as stay-at-home requirements were mandated. In an effort to bring more ‘structure’ 😉 into my life, I personally look forward to putting on what I had neglected most in the last couple of months: pants.

All of them.

From khaki boyfriend chinos, to my linen wide-legs, and even (maybe) my rigid denim – I can’t wait for them to see ome sun. For an easy transition from inside to outside, I look to dressing these up (or down?) with easy simple everyday basics with a touch of gold.”

“I’ve been obsessed with fun fashion, quirky colors, stepping out of my usually neutral box. I mean, I just bought yellow leggings to wear with a blazer lewk… LOL so def more fun, more adventurous.

I really wanting to have more fun with print again. I realized that color and having fun with fashion is something that really inspires me. Anyone who knows me knows I can’t resist a puff sleeve of any kind. The more extreme the better!”
