FP Limited Edition
A prized piece of our heritage, each romantic and ethereal Limited Edition dress was dreamed up and created exclusively by a Free People designer. These dresses are special because of the personal inspirations and unique stories behind each and every one. The designer of this dress was inspired by ballerina shapes, sacred hearts, and a Frida Kahlo folkloric aesthetic. The bells on the dress represent all the fun ways you can wear this dress. This piece is made for movement!
I remember when free people first introduced the "limited edition" I waited and waited as they made the announcement they said it would come out at midnight, I was so curious... so surprised by the type of gown designed then crushed by the price. At the time there was no dress above $300 on the site. Finally saved enough bought one and it arrived in it's own limited edition protective bag made out of fabric, with a beautiful hanger... it made me feel limited edition. This one arrived in the same plastic bag all cloth arrive in and just like that most of the magic was gone. The dress itself is very Mortisha, the main attraction is the big flower at the front. You can't wear a bra with it and it was designed for the long and lean. I got the 0 I'm 5'1, 95lbs B cup. The bust fits well but it looks too long on me. it comes in 2 pieces, the black slip, very comfortable and the lace part. Finally the lacy strap already had fabric come loose so quality is suspect. If you are long and lean and like a Mortisha meets the 20's look - this is for you and I am sure you will look super elegant. I include photo so shorter ladies can see the length when you are not a model and how strap arrived damage.
