My Favorite New Boots

i was lusting for these boots...couldn't wait til they arrived. I absolutely love the style of these boots-they go with so many things I have from FP. I am delighted with the grey brown color, I love that I can wear them above the knee and yet you can scrunch them down if you want. Every time I wear them, someone will stop and comment on them...they are so funky! I have to say why I gave them 4 stars...they run a bit snug...I am hoping because they are a wonderful leather, that they will stretch a bit but also the left boot is looser than the right boot-but not enough to warrant returning them. Overall, I am so happy with these-they are quite pricey, however. Going to have to recover from this price! Great choice Free People! It's hard to find a moccasin boot that's anything like this.

Unique and eyecatching boots!

The leather is wonderfully soft and comfortable/flexible. I'd venture to say that these run just slightly small as another reviewer mentioned - I usually wear a 37 and ordered the same in these and with socks they're quite snug. The toe is a just a bit tapered/pointed, so that could be why they seem a bit small. The leather may stretch a bit once worn a few times. I will admit I was a bit surprised when, for their price, they showed up without a box and were shipped in one of the typical plastic Free People shipping bags. (They do come in a laced shoe bag, but were otherwise completely unwrapped.) I guess that says something for their durability, though! They do have a worn-in look throughout the leather and on the edges of the soles, but that adds to their uniqueness and character. I can see these being comfortable for festival wear with the flat rubber soles! I took one star off because I do find the price slightly high for these, but they were too unique to return!

Inaccurate color but still awesome

The color is much more grey than brown! I have pretty wide calves and was nervous about these fitting, especially because they seem to hug the model's legs. However, I'm able to pull them all the way up above my knees, no problem. They seem like they'll be comfy, but need some stretching-out as they're slightly snug on my feet (I'm always a size 9, and ordered a size 40). Mine arrived exactly like the 4th pic, where the heels look dirty/worn, but I guess that's just the way they were made. They smell awesome and I think they'll last a long time. I'm a boots-addict (many pairs) and these are really cool and unique.

Drifter Mocc Boot

Although expensive these feel like they are special boots. They are so comfortable and very good quality. I was a little hesitant at spending so much, but feel they are worth every penny. I'm quite petite so they are tall and run right up to my knee. Although in the picture I thought they looked slightly metallic they are a gorgeous soft brown (not metallic at all). LOVE - Very Happy!
