Lace deep V bralette. Stretchy fit all around. Bottom hem is scalloped.
Love this bra
First, I would say that this is more of a bralette than a bra. So not going to give a firm support. I am a 32D and find it very comfortable and adequate. Very very pretty. One of the prettiest I have and that FP do and so comfy. I have several. Gorgeous peaking out under tops. But that depends on the colour. The shiraz was lovely and the grey and the dark turquoise. Don't like the contrast stitching on the black, it ruins it, otherwise it would be gorgeous too. Better in stronger colours I would say and definitely without contrast stitching. Please bring back the Shiraz colour FP, it would be great for Christmas. Yes they do come up large, advise to size down. Didn't find them scratchy.
Shocked at the price on this one. It is very cheap looking and feeling. Plus, there is blue thread on the black one preventing it from being worn peeking out of a dress or top where blue clashes. If you buy it....size down a lot.....yet that may not solve the problem of the terribly long straps which are not adjustable.
Cute, but not very comfortable
I bought this in Black Medium, and i have a doubleDD cup, so i thought it was going to fit well and be supportive, but it was way too big! The fabric is also a bit itchy and cheap. I was disapointed. But the details are really beautiful, so its too bad…
I've had the worst time with this bralette! Let me start by saying every other bra I've bought from Free People has been a dream - I have several I wear regularly. This one, however, I initially orderer in the wrong size, which is strange because I was a small in all the other bralettes I own but needed an XS for this one. But oh well, the support team was extremely helpful in reordering for me; they even let me order a new color that I like much better. BUT the new one is unwearable because the seam is creating a blip right above my nipple that is both uncomfortable and very visible under any shirt. If you're going to order, I expect you wouldn't have the same problem with the seam that I did but I would order a size smaller than you're used to!
I wear a 34B. I ordered the XS. The straps are a tiny bit loose. They won't fall, but could be 1" shorter to provide 'lift' to the breasts. In the cup area, it's a little bit baggy. I'll fit a spongy breast cup in the bra to help this out... and probably will sew it there permanently. Or... I could wear it over a normal bra and use the lace straps of the FP bra to cover the conventional strap of the normal bra. While this FP design is nice... the realism of it is lacking and needs tweaking.
Gorgeous, sexy, elegant..
This is as beautiful as it looks. I'm 36/b, size 8/10 (Usa), 14 UK, 5'"10. Being a tall girl, the straps work fine for me, they don't fall down, but they aren't tight or super fitting either, just comfortably sat on my shoulder. The bra isn't a "supportive" bra by any means, so i find that I am adjusting quite a bit but it doesn't bother me because its that beautiful and the bra of my dreams! I travel a lot, and love to wear these on the plane, or even to bed or just around the house. Wearing a tank top with this is perfect for me, with the lace straps showing and peeking through.. I think it's super sexy and elegant and looks great from the back with low tanks. I ordered black and white (standard) in a Medium and I'm happy with it. I fear any smaller it may be tight around, though I could possibly try a S if I was risky enough! I prefer comfort over something super fitting, personally. Anyway... I'm back here to order more in different colors. LOVE IT!
it doesn't look nearly as nice as pictured. i got it in graphite and it's as coloured, but it just doesn't look great on. it fits basically true to size, maybe just a bit loose. but as soon as i put it in, it feels super scratchy all over, so it's going back.
This is a very pretty bra and looks sexy under tops. It's not very supportive as other reviewers have mentioned (I don't need the support so I'm not complaining), but you can tell that just by looking at it. You can't expect a deep V lace bralette to be supportive! I'm a 34A and always wear a small in FP bras, however I listened to the reviews here and sized down to an XS. The XS fits perfectly, so I highly recommend sizing down.
I loved this bra so much when I saw it in the store that I bought it in three colours. The fit is great and it looks super cute when you get glimpses of it under your tops. However, the fabric is terrible. I hadn't even washed it yet and the spandex was already starting to break down and little elastic-y threads were sticking out everywhere! I've only been hand washing them in cool water with the rest of my bras and they just keep breaking down more and more. They are at the point now where they just look awful. And because the spandex is broken down or whatever, they don't fit as tight as they did at first, so it's almost as if I'm not wearing a bra at all because there is pretty much no lift. I've only had them for a couple of months, which is disappointing considering it was over $100 for three. I bought this bra to show off peeking under my tops, but now I only want to wear them when they'll be completely hidden, or if I'm not leaving the house.
