Comfy linen trousers featuring a washed and worn look with a drawstring waist, slouchy side pockets and a cool frayed hem.
LOVE indigo LOVE these!
These turned out to be exactly as I'd hoped. I'm losing weight, so the drawstring will allow me to get the whole summer(s) out of them. They're soft, the pattern is lovely, and the blues are gorgeous. I may have to get the neutral ones too.
very odd waist
if you are a sewer, you know about crotch length , and these pants had strange crotch length and shape. the crotch is too long in front and too short in back. these pants shouldn't have had to fit well, they were so cute, but the waist was too high in front and too tight in back. i am 5'4" weigh about 128, wear 6 or 8. so if you are very very long waisted and have zero behind, you will love these pants
I love the look of these pants and actually paid full price for them. The fit was a little snug in the butt area but stretch after about 30 minutes of wearing. That was the good thing. The bad thing is that they started to slide down and would not stay on. The tie is the only thing that holds them up, and that tie stretches with wear, I guess. Unfortunately, they have to go back.
Wish they'd fit
I'm 140 pounds and 5'6" and I ordered the small. They fit in the waist, which is usually where pants don't fit since I have a poochy stomach. I loved the softness of the fabric and the cute styling. My problem with them was in the hips and crotch area where they were too tight. So sitting down was difficult. Therefore, they had to go back.
Ok I admit it, I am nuts about indigo so when I saw these, well my heart stopped. Free People brings out with really arty cool pieces and though they are expensive, they travel well with other FP pieces and last for years. These pants are gorgeous, capri length with frayed edges, they are the epitome of cool. I know these will be in my wardrobe for years.
