I got the white horsehair on the black suede and really like it with small reservations. It's not as long as shown, but I expected that from descriptions by other reviewers. It would be a significant signature piece if the cord was just a few inches longer. There's a beautiful little braided multi-color cap at the top of the horsehair. Mine arrived twisted and the horsehair tassel was bent. It's been hanging straightening out. It really is a beautiful, well made, unusual piece. Any lover of horses or native american regalia will treasure this necklace!
Like but not Love
So I am still glad I kept this piece, however, its not as long as pictured on the model...I even tried to adjust but no such luck. I would still recommend this piece because it is super cute and great for layering with other pieces.
So Cool, Natural & Simple
Got the black one - white tassel. Exactly as pictured. This horsehair pendant is the most unique piece I have in my multiple personality accessory collection. When I am not wearing it, I'll hang it up on a wall or off a frame because it looks so interesting. The suede lanyard is super soft. At first, I thought the metal beads were plastic. Had it not been for me re-reading the material list I would have felt cheated. But - they ARE indeed metal! YES! Be careful when you first get this. Mine had the top knot super tight! I had to undo it because its initial position would not allow my head to fit through & wear it. It was a little frustrating to fight with & I was afraid of tearing the suede (didn't happen). A teeny bit of black dye came off on my fingers (easily rubbed off). Never the less, it'a all good and set now. So cool!!! If your eye is spying this... go for it!
