Mini dress version of FP fave LA Nite Tank, this basic American made style is ribbed and heathered with a racerback. Semi-sheer and featured in a relaxed fit.
simple, but comfy and cute
Love this easy mini dress for warmer weather. Bought it in the dark blue and light brown. Great to wear with cutoffs or over a bathin suit, it is pretty short so when I bend over I'd prob need shorts. Great summer staple. g
I have this in 4 colours! I don't wear it as a dress like most people seem to, but this is my go-to for a comfy layering look - I usually toss it on over leggings and under a loose FP thermal. More of a tunic length for me. Only negative is that it pills a bit after a couple of (hand)washes. Still, I love this and plan to purchase more colours soon!
Comfortable casual dress
I love this dress because of the material and the way it falls. It has a bit of flare at the bottom but the top fits nicely. I ordered a small and it fits perfectly; I can't wait to buy other colors. You can dress this up a little bit as well. Very versatile.
Re Brick & Pink Nectar
As reviews indicate some colors to run small, this pertains to above colors . I found these to be true to size, skimming the body then flaring from upper waist down. This silhouette flatters all figures, worn belted or loose. "Brick" is really more like a milk chocolate brown, very warm. Pink Nectar, to me, is really a pale terra cotta. Would order more, but am unsure which colors are true to size. Will wash cold & hang dry to avoid shrinkage .
Careful, will shrink in wash!
This is a great basic that I have worn dressed down with Superga sneakers or dressed up with strappy sandals and lots of jewelry. I'm 5'7/119lbs and got the XS and be warned that it did shrink a little bit in length after washing. It's still long enough to be a dress, but I wouldn't wear it without boyshorts in the future. The top is also a bit difficult to wear a bra with - even racerback straps show in the front. So I got the Grey colour and go braless (I'm a 32C). Knocked off a star bc it did shrink.
Different colors = different sizing
Okay, so I wear these on mad repeat; they've basically replaced my la nite tanks as my go to piece. That being said, I ordered the black, white, and army when this dress first came out. I ordered the xs (my usual fp size) and they fit exactly as expected. I recently ordered the dark blue one, but I read the reviews first. People mentioned the new colors ran smaller. I ordered the blue in size small. People--it is labeled a size bigger but is significantly smaller than my xs la nite tank dresses. What's the deal with that? I want to order more, but I'm so annoyed by this sizing discrepancy. What if I order the small and it fits like an actual small (i.e. too big)? Or vice versa? I think fp needs to try harder to standardize sizing, especially since so many people order fp online.
Love this ...but....
I have 7 or 8 of the LA Nite tops and love them. Wear them with everything. When this dress/tunic came out I was excited to try it! I bought the black one and the M fit was perfect as usual and I loved the length. I could wear it as a tunic or a short dress. So....I bought another one in the
I first bought the green in a small and the fit was perfect... So when the purple (actually dark blue) was available along with the orange I purchased a small in theses also. I don't have any idea what went wrong but the two new dresses are about 2
