Not quite right
I bought this in size small in Juniper. I'm 5'8'', 140 lbs, and usually wear size small/4 in FP dresses. The photo doesn't accurately show what color it is. I thought it would be a nice blue color but when I received it in the mail, it was actually like a darker seafoam green. Also, it was INCREDIBLY wrinkly. Still pretty, just not what I expected. I loved how the top fit when haltered at the neck and draped down but the skirt part of the dress wasn't quite as flattering. I wish it was a bit longer--it hit right at my ankles but I like maxis to completely cover my feet. I was torn between exchanging it for ivory or returning it but I decided to return it. I think the way the top falls and the open back is stunning but the bottom half just didn't work out. Could use a slit or something!
Nice dress and very versatile
I bought the plum in an XS and the color is more of a rosy pink than a purple. The fit is TTS. At 5’3” I will need to wear platforms with the dress or have it hemmed since it’s about 4” too long on me. I love that this dress is versatile and you can wear the top a number of different ways. The one thing I will say is that if you are short and/or have a short torso wearing the dress in the strapless style will result in extra fabric at the bottom of the sides along the waist. You can see it in the picture of the plum that shows the full length picture of the front of the dress. Because I am short there was a little more fabric on me than is shown in the pics online. There is also a tie at the back of the dress above the butt that can be used to tighten the dress so that it fits your perfectly around the waist. The fabric is a nice weight and is not see-through. My only complaint is that the dress had a weird chemical smell when it was delivered, which I assume was from the color or the way they treated the fabric before putting it in the plastic bag.
