Too much work
5'7, 135lbs, Small ordered, fit fine around waist. Unfortunately, rest of skirt would be too much work to properly alter or, not hem, and either roll at waist a lot or hold it up when I walk. And, don't get me wrong, my favorite staple were the long ren faire skirts you bought AT the ren faire. With wearing this high on the waist, it hit the ground like the model in taupe to the floor, or the fourth photo of the model in storm. Super thumbs up on the soft fabric, like wearing sheets, but returned.
Nice but HUGE
I have to return this for a small. It's very big on me. I love the fabric and the draping style is very nice, but- the medium is enormous on my waist, and I'm 5'9 and 155. It also draaaaaggggssss the floor. I would pay to have it altered but there's currently a small on line so I'll just exchange. I do like this, but be warned it's a very big skirt, tons of material. If you have a small waist, order the small! I normally wear a medium in FP. Occasionally I'll order a large if I fear the dress/skirt will b too short(bc I am tall and over 45!).
great for kicking back
I am 5'9" , 150 lbs and because of that decided to order the large in the only color left, the taupe. The material is quite thin but not sheer, so I can escape without a slip . The color is a bit muddy, I'm sorry I missed out on the other two, especially the blue. It has a generous fit, almost to the point of being a bit shapeless and it is long, Without heels it's on the ground, but that would be an easy fix, I just like full length skirts. The pockets are a nice feature and don't add bulkiness. Overall I think I'll enjoy wearing this just hanging out ( the over generous fit just doesn't make for a formal outfit to me ). I's a bit over priced for what it is, which is why I waited for it to go on sale. I recommend it with reservations.
Versatile staple for your wardrboe
I bought the aubergine in an XS, which is my typical FP size and it’s TTS. The color is as picture online as is the fit. The skirt is VERY long, which is fine because it has an unfinished hem so I just cut the excess off the bottom so I could wear with flats. In order to do so I had to cut about 8” off. The skirt is made of a nice heavy cotton and the side pockets are not as bulky as you would expect by looking at the pictures. This is a great casual shirt that can be worn throughout the year. Simple and comfortable. LOVE!!!
i love this skirt so much i bought it in three colors! it runs big and very long but i just fold the waist over until i can get it shortened~the material is so soft and wonderful against my skin i do not want to take it off~i wear it casual with sandals and also with boots and a blazer~could also use it as a dress for the beach~
Cost > Quality
I have a 25" waist, am 5'2", and purchased this skirt in two colours in a size XS. I think the price for this skirt far exceeds the quality of it. Both skirts, the tan colour and the grey colour, are slightly see through. As all of the other reviewers said, you will need to have it hemmed. I love many items from FP, but I would not buy this item again.
I bought this skirt from spain. I had to pay more than 40 euros in taxes besides the price of the skirt, itś big for me, it is really long (I can almost use it like a dress) and they sent me the wrong color...It was a really bad experience for me.

LOVE the skirt. Sheer jersey knit is very durable and (shocker) very cheap. This is the most comfortable maxi I have ever owned. It is very flattering. I am 6'2 and it hits right at my heels, covering my flats when standing still. It's the only maxi I have ever owned that does that. Definitely worth the $88.00, in my honest opinion. I wear it to work, out to eat, to church...and whenever I'm feeling a little bloated. ;-) I wish they had more colors, though! xo
Best maxi skirt I've found
I have 3 of these skirts. I love them all. They are very long, but can easily be trimmed to fit, and nothing's worse than a too short maxi. My olive green and garnet ones were so easy to wear this winter, with lots of things going well with them. The taupe one is truly year round appropriate. The cut is slimming, neither too full nor too narrow, and the pockets are an important bonus. Please FP, make some more in more summery colors!
Very poor quality
Bought in henna..The color is much darker than the photo. The skirt is of very low quality, fabric is thin and cheap looking. Definitely very overpriced for such a quality. Disappointed in the purchase and will send it back
