UNBELIEVABLY BUMMED OUT!!!!
I'm a Free People-a-holic. One of the only designers I wear. This is the 2nd Free People dress to literally shred apart! I didn't even know it happened. I went to put it on and there were 2 huge tears in the back, one on each side, in the same exact place. I only wore it a few times and it was my FAVORITE dress! I treat all of my clothes like they're 18K gold and take crazy care of them, as they're an investment and I keep the pieces I love for years. I'm tiny, an XS. The dress has plenty of room on me. I'm 5'4" and weigh 100lbs and only have 34B bra size. I'M SO BUMMED! I was going to exchange it for another one, but after reading all of the other reviews from women with the same exact problem, I'm not getting another one. The 1st dress to shred apart was the "Georgette Babylon Dress". The lace trim just started unraveling. I'm NOT sure if I'm going to buy anymore Free People dresses. They're not made great for the money that one dress costs.

Love!! But I have the same problem as others!
I love this dress beyond belief! So comfy and cute - I get compliments on it where ever I go! It is my favorite dress at the moment! However, when I tried it on in the store, I noticed a small hole in the back seam by the cut-out. The owner of the shop was sweet enough to mend it for me ASAP. I have worn it twice, and the hole is back but this time it is on both sides of the cut-out. SO disappointing! I was going to buy another in a different color, but I am afraid the same thing would happen again.

Loved the fit and style of this dress. Perfect for hot summer days - kept me nice and cool, but still looking cute. Wore it maybe 3-4 times throughout this summer. But, after the most recent wear (4th time I wore it), I noticed two holes in the back of the dress. Super disappointing considering how much the dress cost.

Loved this dress , looks great with laundry tall boots or ankle boots. But REALLY disappointed as the dress shrunk after first wash despite following the washing instructions to the letter. I bought it in a boutique store in Sydney who stock a little Free people . I usually purchase online and follow the reviews. I wouldn't have bought it knowing it shrinks as the other reviewers have said. Don't buy this dress unless you don't mind it becoming a shirt after washing. Shrinks 3 inches in length and gets snug around the shoulders.
I bought this dress in the spring, to wear at a wedding this summer. I Had never worn it, just tried it on when I first got it. Then I saved it for the wedding. When I put it on before going to the wedding, my husband tells me there are holes on the back. The stitches on the back of the dress had gone up, and it made to large, very visible holes. -So I couldnt wear it. The dress is not too small or anything, it is quite oversized, so the stitches hasn't gone up because it it too small. Really disappointing and sad. I have never bought a dress this expensive before (except from my wedding dress), and I really thought Free People was a better quality brand. Such a waste of money :(

I fell in love with this- found it in a store but there was a tear in the back so the manager found me a new one and had it mailed to me. I wore it once or twice, the last time I went to put it on I found tears in the back, in the same spot that the damaged one was in the store. It must be a problem with the shirt. I was going to purchase in red, but I won't. The top fits perfectly, I can't imagine why it tore. This is 1st time this has happened to any of my items from FP.

This very flattering, a little tight in the chest but I am a 38 DD so I have that problem normally.... but still adorable and I can wear a bra with it. The length is perfect, not too short at all, I am 5'6" and quite curvy (size 14 jeans) it falls slightly longer in the back which is also a very nice touch. I plan on wearing in the fall with some suede over the knee boots. I only put 4 stars because it can with a hole already in one of the armpits and I'm a little worried about future tears but i bought on sale so I'm not making too much of a fuss over it.

I bought this dress 2 weeks ago.LOVED IT!. Yes it was big on the shoulders, but I'm a designer and found a creative way to keep it up. Yes, it had 2 places along the back lace edges that were pulling away, but I sewed them down. However, my biggest disappointment is that I washed it according to the directions and it SHRUNK 3 inches in length! I'm so very disappointed, because this is a great style and beautiful design.!! I won't spend more to buy another one! But I'm extremely bummed.

I bought this dress because it looked so pretty online even though I was worried the shoulders would be too big on me. When I received this a couple of days ago, I knew I shouldn't have gotten it because the shoulders were huge on me and made me look like I was wearing some kind of shoulder pads like a football player. I'm so bummed out because other than the shoulders, the rest was perfect. The length, fabric, and style was on point. The back was a little bit loose, but not unbearably so. For reference, I got XS in midnight. I'm 5'3 and usually a XS.
I bought a small in night 4 days ago--the colours were a match for my dark blonde hair/blue eyes. I'm quite curvy and petite and found it very flattering. I thought I'd found my perfect match. Then I wore it once and like the other reviewer, my dress tore near the back as the fabric allotment was insufficient during construction (rayon is tricky that way). I tried to exchange but alas, they were all gone near me. I might try to fix it since I'm in love, but for the price, this is ridiculous and I am crazy disappointed.
