Edgy but feminine
A unique jacket that made my partners eyes pop when he saw it on me. A great mix of feminine and military. I followed the reviews and sized up to an 8 ( i Usually wear size 6 ) and its still a tad snug , with not much room to put anything other than a thin top beneath it. love it none the less.
Perfect jacket but runs small!
I actually bought this on sale, they only had a size 2. So I bought it hoping it fit. I'm ALWAYS a size 0. But I'm really glad I got a 2. It fits absolutely perfect. I would definitely size up, and size up 2 sizes if you want to layer.
Love the jacket but it runs very small. I usually wear a 8-10 size. I did get the size 12 after reading some other reviews and am glad I did. It fits but is still a little tight in the arms and around so I wouldn't be able to wear anything heavy under it. I am small chested (36B) so wouldn't recommend to anyone with a large chest.
I eyed this jacket up for a very long time. I just couldn't decide what colour, what size, etc... I finally took the plunge and ordered it in Olive and I love it. It is so funky and feminine and unique. I love that the layers of fabric on the Olive jacket are all different colours, it makes it such a knock out piece. For sizing, I ordered a 4. I based the size four on the reviews and the fact that I have a FP vegan leather moto type jacket and it's also a 4. The size four fits perfect, but let me be clear, it fits perfect in that it fits everywhere just as it should, the sleeves are flatteringly snug and just the right length, the shoulders sit at just the right spot, etc... BUT I will not be able to wear anything remotely bulky underneath. A sweater? Forget about it. This works fine for me as I live in place that is very cold in the winter so I have a lot of winter coats. So for me, I can accept wearing this as an early fall/spring jacket only and will enjoy shedding the parkas and bringing this beauty out. I didn't want to size up so I could fit heavy stuff underneath and alter the look of this beautiful jacket. So in short, size up if you want to wear as a real coat, layered over sweaters and such. For sizing I am 5.6"'120 lbs 34c. Hope that helps someone pick out their Military Ruffles jacket. You won't be disappointed:)
Returning, poor quality
First, the jacket came to me without a tags and covered in a lint and a pet hair. Disgusting! Second, the jacket already!!! has fabric pill, those annoying little balls... supposely never worn and already has this?!?!? And you guys should check the items before you ship. It's my first order from FP online site and the last one for sure, since almost everything that I ordered has spots, marks, lint.

Military ruffles review
This was an odd buy. An odd fit, & an odd faded color. I initially tried this in L/Black when they had quite a few in stock. I ordered when I could, but the one I got was tight & tiny ! Then, because of something a stylist said, I tried another, & it actually worked ! Quality control ? I love the ruffles, the upturned collar, the medieval/goth look of the black, & yes, also the quilted 'washed'/faded look. It is a unique piece. Hope this helps !
One of My Most Favorite Pieces Ever!!
Love this jacket to death! I have it in size 12, black and wear it all the time! I am a 36DD so a bit snug when buttoned up but mostly I wear it unbuttoned as a layer piece with dresses and with jeans. It is very well constructed and has a little stretch! A true staple in my wardrobe! Love!
