I read the reviews, but i took a chance and bought it anyway on sale, and I'm so glad i did! I think mine looks exactly like the photos and i can't wait to wear it with jeans or anything! I it a little too long for me, but i don't care.
Cute but very bright!
My monitor showed a more wine red but my order came as bright red--somewhat cheap and garish as compared to the monitors depiction of the item! I returned my item because of the colors not the quality---which was fine
When i saw the picture of this belt online i fell in love, however when it came in the mail i was extremely disappointed. It mentioned in the description that the belts may vary but the belt I received looks NOTHING like the one pictured. The belt online has beautiful detailing and the one i received looks cheap and tacky. I am not impressed and will be returning my purchase.
Unique maybe but doesn't look like pics
Since this belt has limited information other than online pics and the disclaimer that each one is unique, I wanted to provide a description of what I received in the mail today to assist those of you that are thinking about purchasing. The item I received is 2 ¼” thick and 55” long. The colorful pattern is 32” long and the other side, which on my belt, is pink and black stripes, is 23” long. There are braided ends that do not look like they do online. The ends look like a 2 piece braid where there would be two chunks of strings that they braided together. The braid on one end is 1 ½” long and the braid on the other end is 4” long. The colorful side of the belt is a thicker woven material than the pink/black striped side although you only notice if you touch it. Online the colors are vibrant and the pattern is geometric. The colors on my belt are more muted and the pattern is a floral design with items that look like they could be a bird, a peacock, and maybe a fish. From my perspective I’m not sure how you would wear this as a belt, it is HUGE and the ends are not long enough to tie together. The only thing you could do is a bulky tie that you would hide in the back with a long shirt. You can certainly wear it around your neck, which I will do if I decide to keep it. Because this can’t really be worn as a belt and although “unique” looks totally different than the online pics I am only giving it a fair (2 stars).
