Stretchy scooped back top with long sleeves.
Pills and rubbings on the first wear!!!
I bought two of these and just loved the fit and colors...but sadly after one wear the sleeves are all rubbed and pilled. Especially under the arms and anywear it touched my purse or jacket. It looks old after one day! If you buy it don't wear a suede bag, beware of zippers and don't lean against or sit on anything abrasive... such as a tree at the park or a curb ect... (imagine it is a pair of nylons) Too expensive for such shoddy fabric!!!
Hi mspanic, Sorry to hear about your experience. Someone will be reaching out. Thanks!
Don't do it.
No save yourself $50. I threw a soft alpaca sweater over mine the first time I wore it and when I went to take it off there were sweater balls all over the arm pits. I washed it and now the arm pits are permanently fuzzy in that way. Also, it just doesn't feel very good on, the shoulders feel uncomfortable like it's going to fall off but it won't because it's tight. This thing is terrible, and mine is garbage after one wear. & I almost bought two thinking it was a sexy basic ... Don't do it. (I used to really like Free People. But lately the quality has been really weak or maybe I just grew up enough to know better.)
One of my favorites
I really enjoy this top! I originally purchased the striped top over a year(or maybe longer) ago and loved it so much I purchased a black and a patterned top also. I've grown to love the gray and black patterned top the most, I feel like it is thicker and shorter, however I have worn all three plenty of times. I always get compliments. It's classy and sexy. The top can also be dressed up or worn casual. I'm petite, 5'5 and 110lbs and the xs/s is great with room to move, however doesn't look too big. If you have a lovely back, do not hesitate to buy this top. You will adore it!
Love this shirt!
This shirt is everything I hoped it would be - thank you, Free People! It fits beautifully - the fabric is sleek and tight, kind of like a mix between panty hose and a swimming suit. A few reviewers complained about the sleeves, but I love them. They are long, yes, but you can easily bunch them and long sleeves look fabulous anyway so I'm not sure what the problem is there. Additionally, because the fabric is tight, I had no trouble keeping the shoulders up. It takes a little adjusting when you first put it on, but once the shirt is secure it stays that way! I'm a 32D so I can't really wear this without a bra, but it's tight enough that I can wear it with a cute bralette (usually something I can't do because I normally need to wear an underwire) - I suggest the Galloon Lace Racerback. If you have a smaller bust I would imagine that this shirt would be totally okay sans bra. Love it! Great purchase!
Good, but not for everyone...
I absolutely love the olive color and the low back is very sexy, but if you have a smaller chest like me, this isn't necessarily for you. Because of the low back you don't get much support from the top of the shirt around the shoulders, so I can't fill out the middle. I have to keep adjusting it around the armpits. I wouldn't tell an IBTC member to buy this shirt. 4 stars for curvy ladies who can rock this.
Great colored top!
I owned 3 low back camis before purchasing this one. I fell in the love with the turquoise color and had to add it to my collection. I do love it but it is a bit more see through in the chest area than I would have liked. I own the navy/white stripped one and I figured that one would have been and is not. I still love the top I just need to feel more comfortable in it or figure out a solution.
Wanted to love...
I wanted this top to work so badly :( I purchased in the xs/s. the fit was as I expected. Very tight, yes, but that is how it is meant to fit. It was the cut of the garment that I just couldn't get to sit quite right. It was awkward through the shoulders and arms. As long as I stood still with perfect posture and did not move my arms it looked great, but as soon as I moved so did the shirt causing puckering and gapping :(
