Could Have Been a Favorite
For years now, Free People has been my number one store where I buy the majority of my wardrobe. I was incredibly excited when I first tried on their Free Fallin Tee, because the fit was adorable and the fabric was soft and comfy. In fact, I almost picked up a few colors right then and there, thinking this would be my new favorite. I'm glad to say I didn't, because after wearing the shirt for one day it started to pill IMMEDIATELY. For $58, I'm incredibly disappointed in the quality, and feel like I could have gotten a better quality tee for $20 elsewhere. I wish I had read all of these reviews before dropping so much money on the shirt, because it seems like I'm not the only one to have this problem. Really bums me out that the company hasn't fixed such a clear problem.
pills pills pills
I'm not sure how but I ordered this in white and it pills like crazy. I tried to remove them and salvage the shirt because it's super cute but it didn't do much good. The material is soft but the quality is super poor. The amount of pilling is insane and virtually covers the entire shirt. It's so sad. I really wanted to love the shirt, I thought it might be defective and so I got a second one but it had the same result... Even though it's a super cute fit I would not recommend
hit or miss
I have four or five of these, and I have issues with some of the old ones but I am happy with the quality of the newer ones, and that frustrates me. My first two pill uncontrollably even though i only hand wash and air dry them. However my newer ones don't pill (at least not yet), feel a lot softer, and aren't as ridiculously oversized, which just confuses me because they're literally the exact same shirt, only bought a few months apart. It's frustrating but I do truly love the shirt regardless. I'm always an XS and I buy these in a small because I like how they hang on me .
I am so disappointed in this tee shirt. I loved the cut and the look when I first purchased it, but it began pilling the first time I wore it. It has gotten much worse with wearing and washing and now looks really cheap.
One of my favorites
I own this shirt in 4 colors! It's a little bit roomy but that's exactly how it should be. It's soft and super pretty but you have to hand wash it. DO NOT throw it in the dryer. It gets those fuz balls that ruin the shirt.
WHAT HAPPENED, FP?
I can honestly say that half my wardrobe is made up of Free People clothing, despite being on a grad school student budget. I absolutely fell in love with this top and bought it on the spot, but within HOURS it started pilling. I was heartbroken, and to make matter worse, after the first wash (done per the top's care label), my favorite shirt had a hole in it! I was originally planning to buy this top in 3 more colors, but now I have to throw out my current shirt, and keep looking for a new wardrobe staple. So so sad about how this turned out. :(

Loved it but Left it
Loved the fit the first time I wore it but didn't take long at all for the shirt to practically be in shreds even carefully hand washing and being easy on my clothing.
