I love my jeans.

But as far as skirts go, I'd say that right now I prefer them to a pant. Mainly because of their endless styling possibilities – they're a chic refresh on denim, and a great way to formalize a look without being over the top. Not to mention, skirts have a starring role in trends this season!

Last week I opted to supplement my weekly wardrobe with some of our favorite FP skirts, and was really happy with the results. Check them out below…

MONDAY CALLS FOR THE: IRL Mini Skirt

A surprisingly cozy statement for Monday. I love playing with the colors of this skirt, mixing prints and patterns – I opted for a graphic crewneck here and layered with lace intimates, as well as trendy ballet flats and leg warmers.

Pro Tip: Transition this piece to night by pairing with an edgy moto boot or leather jacket.

TUESDAY CALLS FOR THE: Pleated Micro Mini Denim Skort

The cutest statement piece!! I love layering this skirt with boxers and belts, bringing in some edginess and texture to the denim. This silhouette is great for both hyper femme and tailored styling.

Pro tip: balance this mini skirt with a tall boot and an oversized leather jacket.

WEDNESDAY CALLS FOR THE: Lizzy Parachute Maxi Skirt

An effortlessly chic staple in my closet. This maxi can be dressed up or down, it looks great with both tailored tops or a graphic baby tee.

Pro Tip: Pair with sneakers for a more casual, trend forward approach.

FRIDAY CALLS FOR THE: Come as You Are Skirt

This skirt – my favorite of the mix – is a great substitute for jeans in my wardrobe! It's super chic and easy to transition from day to night, making it the perfect Friday piece – seamless intimates during office hours, and a blazer bralette combo for cocktails!

Pro tip: break up the lengthy proportion with an ultra-cropped top.
