It has a great shade range — there were about 3 or 4 different shades that fit the description of my skin tone (light neutral) with varying shifts in undertone and depth. I would say that my choice was an almost perfect match, and I’d probably have no problem finding a new shade once my summer tan fades.
The Feel: One thing I absolutely hate is when foundation stays tacky on the skin or feels really slippery and heavy throughout the day, BUT I love a foundation that has a radiant finish. Luckily, this is super lightweight, dries down to a soft natural finish and feels dry to the touch. It’s also very easy to make it look more glowy or more matte depending on your skin prep or primer.
The Application: I applied it with a beauty sponge (which I prefer to help sheer out coverage a bit) It went on really easily and evenly and I could build up coverage where needed without any caking or pilling. I also found it really easy to apply product on top — it blended well with my concealer and cream products, and the slightly matte finish allowed powder to go on smooth with no skipping or blotchiness.
The Coverage: It had much more coverage than I was expecting — I usually think of rms as a very minimal/natural makeup brand, and while it has a natural finish, it actually has a very buildable coverage — I’d call it medium, but could definitely go up to full or down to light depending on application and layering.
