WE TRIED IT
The T3 Aire 360
By: Haley Gaylor
A week of hair salon-worthy styles with one supreme hair tool.
With thousands of hair tools and gadgets on the market, it can be sometimes overwhelming to figure out what’s worth the investment, and what’s not. In recent years, I’ve noticed the rise of the “one-stop-shop" blowout tools that bring the salon experience to your home (so they say).
When Free People started selling T3’s Aire 360, I knew I had to put it to the test. Because! The cost of a professional styling session can cost anywhere from $40-$100. Factor in the commute, time, etc., things really start adding up. (And – though I am not a hair expert, I do love a luxurious blowout with the ease of doing it from my own home.)
So, is this versatile hair tool worthy of my time and money? My diary – with video! – below:

MONDAY:
My 10-minute blowout that’s never failed me.
The first wash day of the week needs to be three things: simple, speedy and foolproof. I start off my routine with a leave-in conditioner/heat protectant
and then begin the blow-drying process. Beginning with the SoftAire drying concentrator to get my hair 80% dry, I then section it off and use the oval brush attachment to achieve a smooth, sleek look.
WEDNESDAY:
If my hair isn’t out of my face, I’m suing.
Once my hair makes it to the midweek mark, it deserves a break. I love an effortless updo that rides on the coattails of my Monday blowout. To achieve this look, I apply generous amounts of our Summary dry shampoo and rehydrate my ends with the Captain Blankenship Hair & Scalp serum. I love the oval brush attachment for refreshing my bangs and then taking the ceramic curling attachments to touch up my front pieces.
FRIDAY:
The hair trend I'm obsessed with – old Hollywood curls.
The end of the week is my favorite for many reasons- but giving myself the ultimate blowout takes the cake. I start with a leave-in for detangling and heat protection, then apply a volumizing mousse (the Larry King Hair My Nanna’s Mousse is chef’s kiss). After rough blow-drying my hair, I go in with the ceramic curling attachments and curl the hair towards my face to achieve that retro glam look.
THE TAKEAWAY:
In all, I fell in love with this tool from the first day of use. As a girl-on-the-go, this took my hair game up many levels while not adding minutes to my morning routine. What makes this product different from others like it on the market are the sleek carrying case, ceramic curl attachments, (which hold your curls for days versus hours), and the zero-heat damage technology that kept my bleached hair looking dare I say... smooth. This has become a staple in my hair routine, and I plan on many epic hair days in the future.
