Dip-dyed plaid maxi skirt featuring an asymmetrical hem with fringed edges. Solid trim detailing down the sides and waistband. Hidden side closure.
I am usually a size 2 in most of my Free People skirts and dresses but after reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried that a size 2 would be too tight on me, but it fits me beautifully. The colors is as pictured and the material is very thick but not heavy. I'm in love!
LOVE this skirt!
Love this skirt! I got in the dark black/blue combo. I love the colors- they look more vibrant in person than the photos I feel like. There is soooo much fabric in the skirt, and it falls so nicely. It is a little long, but that is expected for me since I am just over 5'1", but I can still wear it with 2" booties and it doesn't drag on the ground. Highly recommend!
Perfect year round!!!!
I have this skirt in both colors and I love them. They are a perfect weight and very well made. For rue I am 5'5 ...115lbs. The size 2 and 4 both fit. I love Free People.
This is the most beautiful skirt I've ever bought
I'm serious. I'm so glad I happened upon this in the store because the pictures make it look so boring. It's GORGEOUS. AND IT FITS ME!!! I don't think I have EVER bought a Free People maxi skirt that wasn't too big for me. And that's really depressing when you wear the smallest size. I'm beyond pumped about this skirt. It's beautiful, it's snug, it's heavy, it's nice fabric, it's everything. I kinda want to go buy the other color now...
Beautiful skirt - but runs small
I ordered this in the black combo when it went on sale and I am so glad I didn't miss out on this one. It is gorgeous and very well-made, with lovely details like the stitching in the waistband and the frayed edges everywhere. The material is sturdy but surprisingly was not TOO heavy - although i gotta say, this is a LOT of skirt. I pair it with a plain black tee or it just overwhelms me. This could also be because although my usual size in FP is an XS or a 2, I ordered up based on some other reviews and got a 4. Even if it makes it a little bulky on me I am REALLY glad I sized up because the waist and hips would have been too small in a smaller size. The waist is still a bit tight on me but I think that's because I'm not used to wearing anything with a high waist and the waist on this is quite high. I came back and ordered the stone color also because it went on an even deeper sale over the holidays and I couldn't resist getting such a gorgeous skirt for such a great price.
This skirt does run small. I bought a 10 and normally wear a large 6 or a small 8. I love the length and am 5’10”. If they had a 12 still, I might even exchange my 10’s for 12’s. I bought both colors and am keeping both.
