Lucky find !
I was purchasing an ivory lace dress and saw the wine tasting version right beside it. I know the price seems a lot for a skinny scarf, but there is an amazing amount of hand detailing, tiny sliver beading all around the edges, a lot of bead sunburst detailing in the body of the scarf ( which I looked for on other colors, but not all have this), and fine sliver chains draping in a kind of fringe like detail. Scarf it's self is a deep burgundy color, which by contrast really made the ivory lace dress "pop". Amazing amount to hand applied detailing, for me, well worth the price. Really only suitable for dry cleaning only .Is weighty but I'll live with that for the amazing beauty of this accessory. I love it.
I was a little hesitant in buying this scarf because it's a little pricey, but I love accessories and this one seemed extra special so I ordered one in the wine tasting color. It is a beautiful burgundy and has gold and silver patterned sequins and chains. It is so beautiful and versatile that I wanted another one so I ordered the java one, and I like that one even better. It is kind of a muddy gray/pewter color in person with a silver sequin pattern and chains and is a nice neutral that can be worn with so many different colors. I'm in love with this scarf and might just have to order another color!
Skinny scarf love!!
Bought this in multiple colors! So gorgeous!! as for the other review they are completely right it will pull down and choke you you just wrap it around your neck. But there is a trick to this! -tie it in a loose knot in the front while it is placed loose enough on your neck to look like it is draped around but not choke you. then twist to the back and bring the ends forward! The loose knot will keep it in place! I also can't wait to try it in other combos as well the bow or pulled through a loop is cute too! beading is beautiful!!
Beautiful scarf but tight around your neck
I ordered this scarf in wine tasting and loved it so much that I bought the midnight flora in the store as well. The color and quality of these scarves is amazing. The wine tasting has a lot more detail with sequence in the design throughout the scarf. Whereas the midnight flora just has a pattern in the fabric with no sequence. Both scarves have beading hanging from the ends which is a unique and expensive touch. The only down-side to these scarves is that the beading weighs the scarf down. You can’t wrap it around your neck without it choking you - this is visible in the pictures online. As you walk/move with the scarf on it quickly tightens around your neck. Even wearing it around a collar didn’t work. This is still a great scarf it just has to be worn unwrapped or maybe wrapped around another scarf might keep it in place.
