Wide leg jeans featuring extreme distressing.
Fit: May run large, we recommend sizing down.
Just as I had hoped!
Maybe these jeans aren't cut uniformly ... I was uncertain about making the purchase because the reviews were so mixed - some said they were massive, some said they were tiny. I find them to be SPOT ON size wise. I love the shape - the super flare, but low rise (all wide leg jeans seem to be high rise at the moment) - overall I'm very pleased. If I could have 1 wish, it would be that they didn't have rips in them - I like my jeans to last and distress naturally. Thoroughly recommended.
Nice fitting jeans
I read the reviews and they all are NOT true!! These jeans are NICE!! And yes..you should have curves to your butt and hips area...They fit GREAT!!! and if you read the description, they are meant to be vintage..oldie but goodies pants. I would recommend these jeans to any and everyone. The sizing is large, so you would need to go down a size. I wear a size 8 in USA. i order a size 30 so they could hug my hips...and trust me they do..they have A LOT of holes in them..just like i like it and they are light blue...just like FP posted. There is no denying these jeans are GREAT and worth every penny!
Ugliest jeans I've ever owned!
Purchased these in a size 26, I wear a 2 maybe 4 in some brands (5'8" 123lbs). Apparently these are One Teaspoon brand denim which runs in twig sizes. I am slender and tall and would need to size up in a 28 in these, so go up 2 sizes if you actually want to waste $150 on these. The denim is super heavy, thick, rather stiff, and remind me of the ugly hand me down denim I wore in the 90s because I had no other choice. Super baggy from the thigh down with a miniature sized low rise waist. I can't imagine wearing these and being comfortable, lugging around what feels like 10 extra pounds of heavy fabric. They made me look like I had a giant tent on each leg. I couldn't have returned these fast enough!
A little deceiving
I agree with one of the other reviews. The color in person is much lighter than the color shown here. I also think the brand should have been shared in the description as I am always a 24 in Free People jeans and these 24's were huge on me. The photo also gives the illusion that the jeans are much more distressed/ripped than they are (although I was happy they weren't so I'm not complaining). I have ordered a size 23 (which I didn't know existed) and am hoping they fit better?! This review is to be continued...
Not only did I get emailed 3 times telling me that my delivery date was getting pushed back, but when they finally did arrive I was greatly disappointed. Color was way off. Much lighter than on the website. And had free people mentioned that these jeans were made by One Teaspoon, I would have bought them 2 sizes larger. If you're familiar with One Teaspoon they are an Australian designer and run extremely small depending on what you're buying. These jeans also look to be a wide leg jeanall the way down the leg, they are not. They also show tears on the thigh, there are only rips in the knee. The denim looks to be soft, the denim is very thick and stiff. Definitely not for warmer months. Very bummed and definitely going back. I buy from Free People at least a couple times per month and have been disappointed every time. Time to shop elsewhere.
