Fitted thermal top with an embellished bell sleeve featuring lace detailing. Raw hem. V-Neck.
I'm obviously obsessed with all the pretty cuffs of fp thermals.... Got this one in perri color, very pretty. I'm normally a size S in thermal, but I sized down on this one because I want the shoulder parts to stay right there where they should be. It turned out that it was a good decision... The thermal overall hugs my body really well, no extra fabrics hanging around. Have I mentioned the cuffs are gorgeous?
Very happy with this purchase. It is very comfy and stylish. It is a tighter fitting shirt fyi, but the shoulder's kind of fall widely though.. almost to where you have to be careful with what movements you make or it might fall off your shoulder. I got this shirt in Ivory and wear it with a nude bra and it doesn't show through.
Doesn't fit like your typical henley
I'm 5'7" 125 lbs 30DD 27"waist 35" hips and ordered my normal size small, but the cut of this henley is all different. It has a v neck as well as a v cut in the back, which makes the shoulders feel awkward-- somehow cutting in, but also falling off at the same time. The sleeves were cute and long enough, but the body is short especially since its scalloped on the sides. When I lifted up my arms and brought them back down, the armpits and waist were very bunchy, showing that this fabric doesn't have as much stretch as the normal henley fabric does. I just knew I was going to be tugging on it constantly, so I exchanged it for the Masquerade Cuff henley, which I recommend.
I love this top. I am 5"7 and 59kg, so the extra small fits like a glove. I was a little hesitant about going the smaller size but so glad I did in the end. I have the top in white but would order in every colour if I could! Such great quality material as well. Thanks again FP x
Well, it's really thermal, that's a fact. But as a petite girl, the whole thing fits weird. It runs true to size, I usually wear S but as I know that FP runs big, I ordered the XS. It's ok but the S would have been better. It comes really higher on the hips and it sometimes uncovers a bit of skin in my case. I definitely should have taken it in S.
Pretty much as pictured
These tops look so gorgeous on the models, of course, I always get a little disappointed when I don't look as good in them, but oh well. Anyway, this is a lovely top with beautiful sleeves. The aubergine has a slightly purple hue, which you'd expect, but this doesn't show in the pics on line. The fabric is a lot 'rougher' looking than what you see on the website, so it's very bumpy. The hem is quite low front and back, I'm not sure why they do this, but it's a bit of a styling issue sometimes. A good quality top that will definitely require some accessorising such as a little vest or lots of necklaces.
Kind of disappointing
I am 5'7, 145, 34D and I ordered size M. I love FP thermals and wait impatiently for the new releases every year. Size M is usually perfect for me, but as I think another reviewer mentioned, the fit on this top is just off. It technically "fits" but the neck is so wide with the double scoop/v and it's cut too high on the sides for my long torso - who wants to show off their lovehandles? This is going to take creative layering to make work. Also, the netting in the sleeves is unfinished, so this needs to be washed in a lingerie bag and it's probably still going to fray. I'm keeping it because I've regretted it every. single. time. I returned a thermal and it sold out, but I wish it was more throw on and go like all my other thermals.
Wanted to love!
Was very excited to get this in the mail, but the sizing and fit was really off. I ordered a small which is my normal fp thermal size, but it was falling off my shoulders (and I have broader shoulders for my frame) and way to loose under the armpits, and up the sides. For reference I am 5'9" 120 lbs 34B. I considered re-ordering an extra small, but I felt that even that would not take care of the extra fabric and weird fit problem. Love the idea of this thermal if only the fit were better!
