The rope is handmade by professional New England rope-makers and hand-sliced to withstand thousands of pounds of pull. The ends are whipped for additional durability. They are U.V. resistant, marine grade, weather resistant, and hand or machine washable. They are made with 100% recycled P.E.T. polyethylene terephthalate. Each one is made in Brooklyn. All of the leather used comes exclusive from remnant material. There will be variation in color and texture unique to each collar. The hardware is marine grade and 100% solid brass.
