Distressed wash skinny denim dungarees. 5-pocket style. Adjustable crisscross straps. Pocket detailing on front bib.
After months of deciding I finally purchased these as I need a long being 5'8 and they went in and out of stock. I read many reviews and went with my normal size 25 I am 125 lbs and have a slim boyish figure, I thought they fit perfectly. Not too tight, I could have fit into a 24 as well. If you are considering these, get them!
really wanted to keep it
but it was just too big + adding the fact that I got the wrong size ( a size too large) It still was like if I would be floating in it- it could have been a tent also I found the pants alot more high rise than shown on the pictures - but I am small so this is a normal issue for me other than that I really wanted to love it since I always wanted to get these the color was a little bit lighter and more washed out than shown in the pictures (wake blue) the material was great and stretchy such a bummer that I had to return it
Wanted to love these- but they really did not work out. The bib was so low and seemed ridiculously out of proportion. The wash was not as pictured (girlfriend) and the zipper buckled out like crazy. Sizewas fine but really not a flattering cut for my body. Tried them with various tops to try and get over the bib thing, but ultimately returning them due to the dodgey quality.
For a while I wasn't sure what size to get in these since there were a lot of mixed reviews as to if it ran true to size or not. I played it safe and ordered my usual size 26, I am 5'1 and 115 pounds. I probably could have gone a size down for a tighter fit and the size 26 fits a little looser, but not in a baggy way. I am really happy with these and can't wait to get a lot of wear out of them!
I've been wanting these for a while, but had no idea what size I'd need, so waited until I traveled to try them on in-person. I got lucky and found the colour I wanted (Light Stone) and tried on a 26 & 27. The 26 fit better, but I am taller (5'7
I pondered over buying these overalls for 2 months. Finally took the plunge, and I am absolutely obsessed! I have never worn free people jeans so I was uncertain which size to get. For reference, I am 5'5 117lbs. I wear a 25 in most jeans so I decided to go with the size 25. They fit like a glove! I wanted them to be a little tighter, especially on my legs. I do have a slight gap at my waist, but it doesn't bother me at all. They do stretch *slightly* after one wear, but it only made them more comfortable. Also, I bought the overalls in the Brady wash, and I would say the color holds true to the picture on the website. They go with almost every pair of shoes I own, and I couldn't be happier!
I went to Free People on a hunt for 90s themed attire and ended up purchasing these overalls to complete the look. They are probably one of my favorite purchases to date! They are super fun, comfy, flattering and almost hip hugging in a way that really shows off your body (unlike most overalls). I will definitely be wearing these lots- no themed party necessary. As an added note, i got these in a 27 which is my usual pants size.
I bought the wash blue in a 29 and I love them! I am 5'5 and about 140 pounds and I usually wear a 28 in free people jeans. I was really nervous on whether to buy a 29 or a 30 because I wanted to buy it a little more loose, so I went with a 29 and they're awesome! Only problem is the straps are a little looser even when they crossed but I can deal with that! Love them and they will be perfect for fall! Thanks, FP!
a bit of a disappointment
Considering how long I've been wanting these, they are a bit of a disappointment when I finally got a pair. First of all, I don't think any part of my body is disproportional, but I found the straps to be way too long. I'm thinking about making another pair of holes so the front part doesn't just hang there in a very unattractive way. Second, the legs are too tight. Yes I did size down and got these in 25 instead of my true size 26, but the waist is a perfect fit after sizing down. Meanwhile I have a bit trouble pulling these up so the crotch area actually goes up to where it's supposed to be because of how tight the legs ar. However, these are really pretty (even when the fit is off) and I'm glad I made the purchase. e
The butt is a little small!
I am 5'5, 125 lbs. The only curve in my body is my butt. If you have one size up. I ordered a 26 and 27. The 26 fit perfect through the legs and waist and length of straps (which are not really adjustable). But my butt could barely squeeze in even though it zipped up and buttoned with ease. I had to go with the 27! The overall itself is perfect and looks just like it does online. GET THEM
