There are certain FP items that I can picture myself wearing and this is one of them. It didn’t disappoint when it arrived. It hit me the same length as the model (midi-length) which is surprising, as she has four extra inches on me (I’m 5’6”, 140lbs)! But it’s a good workable length – any longer and it might have swamped me. The sleeves come up to my wrist bone and are close-fitting but not tight. So I can easily wear a shirt underneath. I got it in Olive - a beautiful, classy colour and very versatile. It’s a nice substantial weight so it feels cosy when I wrap it around me. I wore it loads in the autumn, but it's harder to make this work in winter, as it's not heavy enough as an outer garment for the much chillier temps we're currently getting in the UK.
Want one in every color
I bought this in the olive and recently just ordered the sienna. This is definitely one of my favorite purchases in recent memory. SO comfortable and versatile, and it looks like I thought about my outfit a lot more than I actually did. I only wish I had noticed this one when it was first released so I could have gotten other colors, too. I didn't experience any fit issues with the sleeves and bought the smaller of my two FP sizes (xs/sm).
I like it!
I'm looking forward to wrapping myself in this as soon as the weather cools down. I got the black (it's a black and white, but mostly black, heather) ... the snap on the website makes it look dark blue - it's black. The material feels like a light/medium knit...has stretch, is soft and comfortable and the shape bounces back. I'm 5-5, weigh 127, average build and the small fits great; the sleeves are fine, not too tight or too loose. The hood is a cool option and yes, there is a lot of volume at the bottom of this wrap, but that's what makes it so versatile. From modern to boho, you can wear it down, over your shoulder, if you're feeling brave, you might even be able to wear it belted. I can see this on a nice little stroll, at the movies, in the office and everything in between. I think the price point for this piece is quite fair, especially since it really is a unique cut.
Stylish and beautiful
I get lots of compliments for this wrap. The fabric is thick enough not to stretch out of shape and its warm enough for spring/autumn. Hard to layer in winter because of the length. Very versatile with the hood. The Sienna colour is exactly like in the picture.
4 Season Sweater
I bought this sweater in a medium (145 lbs, 5'3") and it's great for all different types of weather. I got the olive and it definitely has some grey tones to it which is nice because it will really take on the colors that you're wearing. Awesome maxi sweater that I would recommend to customers of all body types!
This wrap around cardigan is perfect! Way better than expected. It super soft and you can wrap it around your body in multiply ways. Or just use it as a long cardigan. I didn't expect it to have an actual functional hood as well. But it has extra fabric cut out for the hood which is sooo perfect! The fabric of this product is so light that it falls perfectly around your body or in your neck without it looking bulky or weigh you down. If you're not using the fabric for the hood no one will notice or see that you've a hood. It's magical! Love it. One of my best buys from FP up until now. I've the Siena color and it absolutely amazing. Very deep and warm color. Only downside is probably that the fabric is so light that I'm afraid it will tear or get holes in it. You can almost look through the fabric if you hold it up. The sleeves are a bit tighter and with long sleeves underneath from a sweater I'm afraid it would tear... Although the fabric appears to be very stretchy as well. It might be too warm for summer. But I've worn it in spring in the Netherlands. Temperatures around 18°C. Maybe for the colder evenings in summer. I'll bring it with me on the airplane as a blanket. Because it covers my whole body if I sit or lie down. I'm an XS.
My new favorite sweater
I have this in the black which looks blueish online and the black is definitely a bit different in person than it is online. I get a lot of compliments on and looks at this sweater. It is a lot of fabric in the body but comfortable and versatile. It is long so I step on it when bending over and often have to carry the front of it like it is a train dress. Overall i love it.
I ordered this in all three colors in a size small. The black and olive fit the same, the sleeves came past my wrists and the back hung nicely. Oddly enough the rust/red color was much tighter. The sleeves were much shorter and since it was tight around my shoulders the back did not hang correctly. I figured this may be a sizing mislabel so I reordered another red in a small. the second one was the same way! Completely different from the other two. Not sure why this is but I kept the black and olive. Nice piece for the price and versatile. The sleeves in all three do run tight so keep that in mind
This wrap jacket is a beautiful idea but for me it just didn't work out. The material is heavier, (which was fine) and the color is beautiful, but the sizing was strange. I ordered a small, and feel like had I ordered the xs the arms wouldv'e been extremely tight but maybe the rest would've fit better? There is a LOT of bulk at the bottom of the jacket. Doesn't lay flat, it definitely folds and layers quite a bit.
Want to love this sweater ...
First off, I ordered the black sweater in large. I thought the pic of the sweater was a blue. A bit disappointed in the color when it arrived. That said, I am 5'10" and 155 lbs. I am generally a size 10. I ordered a large. The sleeves are tight. I will never be able to wear anything underneath it. I love the length and the flow of the sweater but material is a bit cheap. I still have not decided whether to keep.
