Super cozy and soft Alpaca cardigan sweater featuring an open front with striped detailing. Front slip pockets.
Worst quality I have seen for this price
I am so upset about this sweater! I live in Canada and paid close to $300 cdn for this, and had to pay $60 duty to receive it. I have worn it a handful of times, and it is unravelling under both arms. I purchased 4 of these, 3 as gifts for my sisters and mother and this is the third one that has come apart! I don't even live near a store! We were able to return one, but won't get the $180 we had to pay just to receive them! I am so upset also because I would expect excellent quality for something that cost this much. So disappointed. The sweater looked great, but construction was really poor.
Hi Drea1, We're sorry to hear about this. Someone from our team will be in touch! -Free People
I just got this cardigan today and this is my report: I am 166 cm (between 5'5' and 5'6') 138 lbs, 34B, for FP / Madewell / SuperDry / Zara I usually wear M for winter jacket when it is not oversized. For this oversized cardigan I don't know why I ordered a M (wasn't thinking), I am exchanging for a S, if you have my similar body type, size M will be way too big for you, even you need some room to wear heavy sweater in. It is super light, super soft, and the color and length is exactly as the picture shown here (the black part is more like dark charcoal). The length of the sleeves are down to my fingertips because it is size M (I don't have short arms). When I tried it on that instant second I immediate felt the warmth come from that cardigan already, even though today in north-eastern New Jersey the temperature is quite warm and my living room temperature is 66 degrees. I am hoping it can withstand the coldness down to 25- degrees with a good winter coat. Also, I want to say that if you have an accident like first viewer please DO NOT put 89% alpaca or any kind of natural material (wool, cashmere ...etc) into a dyer, even though it's just air dry, it will shrink and destroy the garment no matter what, especially FP's clothes. That 1 start is not exactly fair to this cardigan. For my past bad experiences FP doesn't have correct garment washing label. All my good quality clothes from FP I either dry clean, area pad dry clean, or I just don't wash it at all. I don't trust FP's labels. Anyway, I hope my report help you guys. Merry Xmas to you all !!!
A friend bought this sweater for me and I fell in love right away. I got caught up on a very bad rain on my first day using my sweater and it got wet, so I put it on the dryer to air dry because I know it was supposed to dry clean. Either way it shrunk like CRAZY and released fur all over!!!!! Long story short, I lost it (picture). I don't believe that this should happen. Truly, a bad quality sweater and I'm so disappointed, especially after I saw the price online. I love FP, but this sweater it’s not a good idea.
