Real people making real knits in Peru and New Zealand. The knitter was created by Nicole Leybourne who believes in supporting small communities, practicing ethical labor, and a sustainable way of life. All of the knitter's creations are knitted together in homes and yarns are gathered from local family run farms, where mulesing is not practiced. These yarns are both natural and biodegradable, using low impact dyes, and certified by OEKO-TEX and REACH.
