Western inspired luxe leather ankle boots with a pointy toe and exposed zipper detailing. Stacked wooden heel.
I love these boots; they have the most perfect proportions. The heel is not too high or low, the toe is pointed up at a really nice angle that actually makes walking feel more comfortable in heels, and the opening just over your ankle with enough space to see a little in the boot is very flattering and comfortable. I got the gray snake and they are a little stiffer than the chocolate or wine because of the pattern, but they break in fine after a few days. They are not the most comfortable boots ever, but they are still fine to wear all day. I usually wear 8.5-9 and 39 was too big. 38 was perfect. I'm concerned the heel won't last very long, but just before rubber wears to the wood I will just get new rubber put on and then I feel like these boots will last a long time. I get compliments from EVERYONE, even dudes you'd least expect it from haha. I wear them with everything, I want to wear them every day. I kinda wish mine had the top-of-the-snake pattern on the front of the boots like to model's and all of the submitted pictures; mine have the less vibrant belly pattern on the front. So just FYI, both sizes I received were like that, in case the specific snake pattern was something you really liked. I have a picture of mine to show what I mean.
I have been eying these boots for quite awhile and was thrilled to see they went on sale! I ordered my normal size and the size smaller just to cover all the bases. When I received them, the size 38 was too big-- I felt like I was clomping all over the place--but the 37 fit on the left foot, but was too tight on the right. Not only that, but the the zippers were rough and a struggle to pull up, plus the 37 pair rolled to the inside when I walked. Needless to say, quality control is not the strong suit here. The quality of the leather was poor--not soft, but very dry and scaly. Maybe it's the color that makes a difference? These, unfortunately, are going back.
AMAZING but runs about a half size bigger
Love them, BUT they run about half a size too big. normally wear a 6 (36) in FP and other brands, ordered the 36 and they're just not snug enough for me! My foot is narrow and I would've planned on wearing with thin ankle socks but my foot is slightly dancing around in these. Wish FP made them in a 35! Would re-order in a heartbeat! Also, the toe is long (has that western vibe -didnt mind that) but because they already fit me pretty big.. that elongated toe made my foot look HUGE!
AMAZING but so big!
I bought these in the color "snake" and they are beautiful. They are also very soft and comfortable. I normally wear a 9.5-10 so I ordered the size 40. So big. Even with the pointy part I had too much room. Thick socks and they'd still be big so exchanging for the 39 =). Also I have a wide foot and they aren't too narrow. Overall, amazing boots!
I normally take an 8 and ordered an 8. I'd say these run a little big, stick with your size. They feel a little narrow, but I'm sure they will loosen up with wear. I got the natural snake color and it's gorgeous! Highly recommend!
Spectacular, showy. Heel is a comfortable height. Like previous reviewers said, they are basically true to size but if you are in between sizes, go with the smaller one for sure. I am an 8-8.5 and I got the 38, they fit great right out of the box. (I was nervous and had second thoughts before they arrived, wondering if I should have gotten 39... No worries at all, 38 fits great.) The toes are more pointy than I was expecting - more like a cowboy boot. But it looks very good. Happy with this purchase.
When it comes to my wardrobe, my booties are always MVP, I'm so picky too, when I find a pair I like, I usually order them in every color. I ordered these in the darker color as a replacement for a pair of black leather booties that had seen their last day. These are not black, but dark dark brown, the color is beautiful and the texture is UNREAL, so soft to the touch! They are so comfy too, zero breaking in period, which I was not expecting. I usually have a tough time deciding between a 9.5 and a 10, I went with the size 40 and they fit like a glove. If you're between sizes I'd say size down.
