wrinkles easily, but comfy

I have this in white/fuschia. It is easy to throw on and head out the door. My only complaint is that it wrinkles so easily! I love the drop shoulders. It makes the shirt look effortlessly laid back.

Inconsistent sizing

I couldn't agree more with a previous reviewer, who said that the sizing is very inconsistent. This brand drives me crazy. I have bought three Rails shirts, all in a size large. The first one fit like a small, the next one like an actual large, and the third one like a medium. Sleeve lenghts are all different too. And who wants to order three of the exact same shirts, same color, same size to hopefully have one that fits correctly. Rails shirts are super soft, but I am done with this brand.

Draped in Plaid Shirt Review

I am overall happy with the shirt. It seems that the arm width runs a little tight in comparison to the overall shirt fit. I still decided to keep the shirt!

beautiful shirt

the cut of this shirt, the drape and the slightly pointed winged cuff points make this a true free people find. it is NOT oversized, like most FP things so if you want it to be a boyfriend shirt, order up. I got my usual XS and it fits like a regular shirt but not at all baggy or long. I found the rose and cream to be drab but the fuschia/blue is electric and so fun with jeans

Rails Plaid

I ordered this shirt a couple months ago. I love it and do not regret paying full price because it is so versatile. Looks great open over t-shirts and tucked into a pencil skirt for work. The fabric is very soft, thick, and drapey. I got the Cadet color (white with navy). Even though I am really glad I bought this, I am sad at how quickly the fabric has deteriorated. Would have given 5 stars if I thought this shirt would last! Mine has snagged in one spot (not sure what on) and has pilled quite a bit for how long I've had it. I'm afraid that in a few more months it won't look nice enough to wear out. So be prepared to hand wash (I have) and the fabric still may not hold up that well. I would want a second color in this because it's so useful but wouldn't purchase again unless it was marked down. I went with my usual FP size, XS. I originally ordered the S and had to return it. It is long and wide under the arms so if you wear it tucked in and raise your arms it will come up a bit. It does not stretch a lot through the back and at the cuffs, though, so if you are between sizes in shoulders or bust maybe size up.

I love love love this shirt! It is the softest fabric ever and SO comfortable. It definitely runs large but I love the loose fit. It's perfect for every day attire. I would wear it every day if I could!

Poor Quality Fabric

So excited to get this shirt. Putting it on was so great, the fabric soft and very drapey! Looked gorgeous, until you wash it...!!! Washed it on hand wash in the washing machine in a mesh bag. Hung to dry. There were 2 HOLES in it!! One on a sleeve where the sleeve is attached to the cuff, completely came apart!!! The other on a side seam! Fabric is thin and falls apart easily. VERY disappointing after spending so much. SNAGS like crazy. Would NOT by another product from this company.

Cute but just okay

I love the casual look this shirt has and I bought it after seeing so many celebrities look so cute in it. But it runs pretty big so go a size down, I wish they made an xxs because the xs is still too big for me. Also it is very soft and I will being taking it to the dry cleaners because its delicate fabric. I think its a little over priced. When I buy this expensive of a shirt I expect it to fit well and make me look good but its just okay...
