These pants are very soft and comfortable. They are a bit cropped as on the model and stylish. I did not find the pockets to be too much or look clownish.

I have been in search of the perfect Harem style black pant and was hoping these were it. I am just over 5'8" and 128lb, and I ordered a small which is my normal size. These pants looked ridiculous on me. I was hoping the drape of these pants would fall perfectly, but the pockets appeared clownish, and the backside was completely unflattering. I sent them back. The only good thing was the material, which was soft and cozy. I hope others have better luck.

Had to return these unfortunately. I really wanted to love these as much as all of the other reviewers seem to. I don't know if I would have committed to getting these if it wasn't for all of the wonderful reviews. I guess that these pants are either going to fit you great or be super unflattering. Mine were super unflattering. The hip pockets just looked way too clownish no matter where I set the waist. They stick out a lot, and, unless your hands are constantly in your pockets, tend to look really goofy. The back of the pants was even more unflattering. I am usually very happy with my backside, but these pants somehow managed to make my butt look very sad, flat, and droopy. Not cute. If these pants were cheaper, I may have just tried to make it work. But it's not worth it for $80, so back they go. The only way they look somewhat wearable is with a long top that covers the really unflattering pockets and your butt, but then it's kinda like what's the point because those are the unique features of the pants. Do have to give them credit for being very soft and comfy. For reference, I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs.

Best pants ever, seriously. I bought one pair months ago, and since then I now have over 6 pairs and just wear a different color literally every day of the week to work. They are hip and stylish with still being comfortable and casual - total game changer. I haven't put on a pair of jeans since, it's as comfortable as wearing yoga pants everyday. The black pair looks totally professional. Wish that there was also a longer option for the ankle crop.

These pants are just perfection, true to size, soft fabric, very stretchy and lightweight. I wear them at least 3 times a week because they are extremely comfy. Thinking in getting another pair. As a reference I am 5'2", 155 pounds and size medium is a perfect fit.

Beautiful surprise

I love the material. Very nice quality that adds a touch of class to a lounge-y pant. I ordered the charcoal in a XS and fits true to size. I'm 5'6, 115lbs. I rated this item 4 stars because the front pockets are a bit (extra) droopy for my taste, makes me feel like a clown. Although a simple sew job should do the trick. I will be wearing these babies all summer long!

Best Pants Ever

I went to my local Free People store in Kansas City Missouri and let me tell you these drapey pocket pants are the most comfortable pants I have ever tried on. I am 5'6 and I weight 135 and I am normally between a medium and a small and I bought these pants in a size small because the mediums were little too big and I like the way smalls fits better. I also got mine in the washed black color. I would definitely recommend getting these pants and totally worth the money.

I am a huge fan of Free People and normally love each item I purchase from this brand but am sad to say this item did disappoint. It's 5 stars in terms of style, function & comfort. Just love it! Perfect for Spring, Summer & Early Fall weather - also if you live on the West Coast and enjoy easy weather all year round. It is a breathable and somewhat light pair of pants so would not be great for chillier Fall or Winter days. In terms of fit, it fits TTS / slightly smaller. I am 5'4" around 125 lbs and typically a size 27-28, 4-6 in jeans depending on brand. Size S was perfectly comfortable. Would it imagine the M looking slightly baggier and harder to hold up. The quality is what took me from happy to sad. I wore these pants for only the second time ever today and my boyfriend noticed that the material was already becoming undone on the middle of my thigh! (See photo) So sad! And kind of irritated given that I spent $78 on these pants as truly an investment / wardrobe staple. I wasn't wearing a single piece of jewelry while wearing these pants and haven't felt it caught on anything so really not sure why this happened.

Just received the petunia color in the mail, and I really like them. I'm a pretty fit size 12, and ordered a Large. They fit sliiiightly more snug than the model in the hip area, but as a pear I figured they would, and they still look "right." And the material appears like it may stretch a little with wear. At 5'5" they hit a bit lower on the ankle, but still cropped. The color is pretty accurate to the picture, and the material is soft and comfy. I purchased them for an upcoming early morning flight, and I think they'll be perfect.

I'm 5'3" and 120. The pants are super soft and comfortable, but not very flattering, especially from the back. I'm usually pretty happy with my backside shape, but these pants make me look flat and droopy in the trunk. Color is really cute, but I think you need to wear a really specifically shaped top (long, flowy) to make the pants look good.
