Effortless and boho extra soft and stretchy oversized solid heathered scarf, with an unfinished trim. A drapey, wear-with-anything piece.
I will be wearing this scarf every chance I get. It's long enough to tie any number of ways, and light enough to dress-up a t-shirt and shorts in the summer. I have it in grey, and have added the other colors to my wishlist!
just what I was looking for
Love it, what a great effortless piece. Lots of fabric to go around your neck without looking too bulky. I do agree with other reviews. The scarf came with too many tags. One with washing instructions, one with size - really?! and the last big tag has the free people name on it. Free People I think there is some room for improvement. Off with the tags! Other than that love it, love it, love it!
This scarf is so chill & laid back. I have it in heather teal & the color is much more gray than teal. I wouldn't even consider it close to blue actually. The color's still really nice though. I love how long the scarf is. I usually wrap it around my neck twice and it's perfect for layering. It looks awesome with a leather jacket & a white tee.. and definitely some ripped up jeans. The gray shade is different than the black I usually go for so it's a nice & subtle change for me. Perfect!
Purchased this in the grey color which is true to what is depicted online. Tons of fabric to wrap any which way and I promise that no matter how you wrap it, it'll look stylish and chic. I like to tuck at least one end of my scarf up around my neck and one of my pet peeves is when that end continually pops out as I move around. That doesn't happen with this scarf. One gripe I have: FP, PLEASE stop putting these ugly tags on your scarves!!!! They look so stupid because they're huge and not easily concealable and I really risk damaging the scarf to remove them. I own a number of FP scarves and this is an issue for every single one. The tags on free people clothing are understated, what's the deal with putting a giant name tag on a scarf??
bought the heather gray, love it, received compliments. my gripe? why do scarves have to have all these tags attached? I wore it thanksgiving, you can see peoples eyes traveling to the tags that are almost impossible to remove. so I sit down under a magnifying glass. sure, I'll leave the oversized white Free People tag on, but the washing instructions/and or fabric content I think ruin the look. I was as careful as humanly possible trying to remove the stitching and still managed to catch a thread on the scarf. so now my scarf has a nice big Free People tag with a hole beside it that I am sure will progressively grow larger. all I can say is, stop with the tags. and-- it made me sick to have damaged such a lovely scarf.
cool; very cool
Just the lightweight, cool, wrap around and around, laid back vibe I was wanting. The material is very stretchy so the scarf always lays down properly (some stiffer scarves I have to readjust constantly). I love the tiny frayed detail on the sides. I bought the lighter gray one and it looks just like pic. Did I mention that this scarf was cool? It is.
Ordered in the heathered teal. It's definitely NOT as vibrant green as in the image and not remotely 'teal'; I'd described it as a very muted grayish jade. Other than the slight disappointment with the color, I'm still tickled pink over how incredibly soft and generously cut it is. You can wrap it a bazillion different ways and it always looks fantastic. The raw edge is done well--I'm not worried it will ravel or catch on things. No weird chemical odor that I frequently experience with affordably priced textiles. It's quite lightweight but when fully wrapped it will definitely provide enough warmth for me in the NYC winter. May pursue trying another one (Girls need a backup, right?) to see if the dye lots vary with a more vivid green/teal. Sooo soft, I just love it. Try it wrapped up like a snood--adorable.
