Femme take on a military inspired jacket, this cotton style features a contrast peplum featuring an unfinished hem and raw, unfinished trim throughout.
I jaunt recently bought this and it's so cute!! I got it in the tan/brown color in my normal size medium! I have a few other style military jackets from fp and I love them! Great quality, very versatile, and adorable! I've worn it with one my black dresses and red hunter boots perfection baby!!
SOO cute, getting all 3 colors
I got this in army green and literally wire it almost everyday. I was in Hollywood seeing a doctor bc j may need back surgery and my car got stolen and so many of my FP clothes were in my suitcase (I always totally overpack too.) so I immediately went to a Free People to replace some things bc I had nothing to wear and I got the jacket in Stone (it's much darker in person than in the picture.) then I ordered the army green online and I'm getting the fawn tonight. It's a cozy jacket but sexy and cute too so I can totally justify getting al 3 colors bc I wear it so often. I got it in XS and it's a little oversized but I like that look and its comfortable. I was so upset when it fit stolen and the idiots took a bunch of my FP dresses, jeans, bras and tops. What are they going to do with my XS dresses? Lol. It's totally worth getting it again in army and the other colors. It's my favorite jacket I've ever had and one of my all time favorite pieces of clothing. I obviously highly recommend
This arrived looking just like the photos (got the Army color). Nice workmanship -- reminds me of Free People clothing from back in the early 2000's when everything they sold was made with nice fabrics, the photos in the catalog were accurate, and everything I purchased became a one-of-a-kind go-to favorite. Love it!
So in Love
I found this in the store and bought it on a whim. I wanted the almost 300$ embroidered parka but I didn't have money for that and it was not really practical because it is thick and I live in Arizona. So I would have to wait until winter to wear it. It is also very cute though. In the store I bought a small which looked fine. Usually I am an xs in Free People tops. In Free People jackets I usually size up so I can fit a hoodie. I decided though to exchange it for an xs because the material is stretchy. The store didn't have an xs in stock so they ordered it for me. I'm so glad I did. It fits perfectly! Plus I can wear the thickest hoodie under it without it looking odd or being uncomfortable. This is the best jacket ever! Its very flattering and cozy. I think in the one in the store I bought was a lighter green. The one that came in the mail was closer to the picture, a darker green which I like better. I wish I had the money I would buy it in the fawn color as well. So cute!!!<3
I had the opportunity to try this on in a store. I was excited to finally see it in person. Normally I am a Large in Free People jackets, sometimes a Medium. In this the Large fit comfortably over my 34F bust, buttons buttoned without straining and everything...so it fit. I also loved the color (I tried on the khaki/grey-ish one) and the distressed detail, the frayed hems, the buttons...but the fit...the fit is just odd. It made me look like a box, and from the side made me look wider than I am, both buttoned and unbuttoned. It also seems much shorter in person...I am petite and it hit right at my hips. I ended up not buying it because the look of it was very unflattering and unattractive on me. It is boxy, and has no shape at all, does not cinch in anywhere.
I saw this jacket in the store, the day they put it out and immediately wanted to try it on. If you like ruffles, then this is the jacket for you. It fits true to size. I bought an XS (5'6", 128 pounds, slender) and it is the perfect size. I saw both colours and neither colour on this website is the true colour. The army green one is close to the actual item but the lighter coloured jacket was a much whiter beige than what shows in the picture. The sleeves are longish and I turn mine back an inch. But it is a great jacket and looks terrific with jeans. I'm so glad I saw it when my size was still in stock.
