Founded in 1920, Franke Hendecke introduced the Rolleiflex TLR camera in 1929 and it was a breakthrough model for the company. This style was the first modem reflex camera and was to remain in production until 1996. This wonderful example is a Rolleiflex Automat Model 2 6x6 produced by Franke Hendecke in Germany circa 1937. The camera uses modern 120 film, which is easily available. The camera is in working condition and comes with its original case. It has a Zeiss Tassar f3.5 75mm shooting lens with a bayonet mount for accessories. It features a Compur-Rapid shutter 1 second to 1/500th of a second. This special model will allow you to own a piece of history.
