Super soft and cozy this chunky, fuzzy and fluffy coat is cropped to the natural waist. Hood detailing, side pockets and a hidden hook-and-eye closure. Lined.
Returned; not cute on my broad shoulders
I am petite, 5'4, with broad shoulders and shorter legs. This deliciously soft jacket was so boxy and unflattering on my small frame. It made me look HUGE on top. The only plus side was how soft and cozy the jacket felt on. Although you cannot close the entire front, so less coziness there. I was so excited about this jacket but it fit my small frame so horribly. I had to return.
Perfect fluffy coat
I adore this coat! I got it for my wedding a few weeks ago as I wanted something cozy and cute and this fit the bill! The coat is oversized so I went a size down from my normal size. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this as you can dress it up or down!
I'm a bit confused by the solid reviews for this piece, because I actually found it really awkward. The hood is huge, and it weighs down the light body of the jacket, so it kept pulling the front up on me so it bunched around my armpits. The hugeness of the hood was awkward when I tried to wear it up, too; the fabric was soft and floppy, it just collapsed on my head and kept covering my eyes. I would have loved to love this because of its snow princess-y whiteness and softness, but no dice for me.
I saw this Jacket at the Aspen store and my eyes went directly to it. It was just as cute on, fuzzy, soft and very sweet! Perfect snow bunny attire for Colorado! I also love the hood, it's great for living in a place that snows a lot in case you forgot a hat! Although I would consider going a size smaller if you have a short torso. I have a short torso (hourglass shape) with long legs (I'm 5'7). I usually wear a size 6 or 28 in pants and mostly medium jackets and shirts but can wear small depending on the cut and style I'm going for. I'm a 34 C cup, I have a tiny waist but curvy hips and a booty. So the thing I found out about this jacket is the medium came down too long and sat on my hips vs. the small hitting right around mid waist. I went with the small to accentuate my waist. The medium would have made me look too boxy! Word to the wise for women with an hourglass shape like mine SIZE DOWN! There is still plenty of room everywhere else. I think if your hips are more straight down then stay true to size!
So... I was returning a pair of pants to the local FP store. And guess what was hiding in the back corner. Not a dust bunny. THIS, darn it. I put it on and kept telling the sales women I wasn't ready to take it off yet. Walked around the store browsing, and finally I said you know I''m not going home without this, right? Size small 5'7" 125 lbs. Fits like a dream and the arms are plenty long enough.
Perfect furry hooded coat
I am so in love with this cute and versatile jacket! The hood and the cut of the jacket are absolutely adorable! Last years version of this was hoodless and boxy but this is a winner! This jacket is so soft that I want to cuddle up in it and wear it all the time! The lining is soft cotton and the furry texture is plush and cozy! I hope FP comes out with a black version of this coat because I'll buy it! I bought my normal size of a small and there is plenty of room for layering! I'm very happy with my purchase and plan to wear this a lot this fall and winter! So cute on!
white furry jacket
Really liked this jacket when I first viewed it. The hood is a bonus. It is a nice fit and fully lined. I purchased a large simply because of a layering factor. I don't like tight fits in this style. I have noticed also that the arms in the free people jackets tend to run on the snug side. Also with a full lining it tends to skew the sizing a bit. Totally happy with style and fit.
