Suede ankle boots with a western-inspired design, etched metal heel and toe caps, and sculptural V-cut sides. Easily bend and mold upper to hold a coveted slouchy shape.
Lovely boot, design flawed
I was so excited to get these boots and they are beautiful but they have two insurmountable problems: (1) they came with polystyrene inserts to hold them in shape, and unnecessary use of a biodegradable material like this is unacceptable to me; and (2) inside the boot there appears to be a seam on the side of the boot over the
i adore these!
i've had my eye on these forever and they DELIVERED! i love pairing these with grungy pieces in my wardrobe and looking like a punky glam goddess. they hurt the first night of wear but after that they were fine!
love them but not worth it.
I adore these boots although they hurt extremely bad and were hard to break in. I got so many compliments I was determined to break them in but unfortunately the heel broke off and I threw them away last week. I am tempted to purchase another pAir because I loved them but the pain was not worth it!
I had my eye on these boots for awhile, and boy am I glad I finally bought them! I ordered the khaki color and was debating between a 7 and 7.5. I usually wear a 7.5 in boots, but after reading previous reviews I decided on the 7. They fit perfectly! The cutouts on the side allow for some extra wiggle room, so they fit my in-between size foot great. The khaki color was a tad bit darker than I originally thought, but they are still a great boot.
I purchased these boots in the olive suede and they are just gorgeous! It's a dark olive, almost to the point of a dark gray/distressed black, and they look amazing with pretty much everything. Love the v-cut down the side and the metal boot tip. I've gotten so many compliments every time I've worn them. Super comfy too with the perfect heel size. Let's see, I vary between an 8 and an 8.5 and I got the 8. If you're between sizes, definitely size down as these will stretch out comfortably after a few uses. Don't hesitate...worth every penny!
LOVE! Be patient
The shoes really do add a wow factor to any outfit! I got the navy, and constantly get compliments on them every single time I wear them! They look great with light denim, shorts, or dresses! However, I must say you really need to be patient with these things! They hurt at first and take awhile to break in (wore them around my apartment for awhile), but now they're comfy and great!
Sexy and comfy!
I love these boots!!! They run a little big. I'm a 7.5 and bought the 7.5, but after they broke in I wish I bought the 7. Once they break in they really look gorgeous. Great for dresses, pants, and can really spruce up any outfit without being too high and uncomfortable. I bought these bc all my other boots are super high and was looking for something that I could walk around the city with and still look cute in. Get these!!
Favorite everyday boots!
I am obsessed with these! I'm very short with an athletic build so I needed a pair of everyday boots that would lengthen my legs, and the pointed toe and slits in the side do just that. I got the snakeskin khaki color and they go with everything, and can be dressed up or down. I wear a 6.5-7 and I got the 7 and they fit perfectly. Absolutely love.
Ordered these in the camel color, to have a pair of ankle boots that are better styled for warmer weather. I wasn't sure what to expect for fit and stability given the open sides but the reviews convinced me to give these a try. I really LOVE them. They're comfortable right out of the box, with no rubbing around the ankles or toes. I would say they're definitely true to size—I'm a size 10, sometimes even a 10.5 in one foot, and these fit comfortably in the 10 even with a lightweight sock. The toe box is narrow given that these follow a western-boot styling, but that works for my narrowish/average width. They're surprisingly secure on your foot as well—your heel doesn't lift when you walk and your foot stays in place, even with the deep v cuts on the sides. As others have noted, the boot holds its shape via a flexible metal (?) insert around the ankle, and it remains to be seen how well this holds up over the long run. And for summer (bare feet) wear, I'll be adding a thin insole to keep the insides fresher. They're reasonably well made, perhaps a little pricey for the quality, but worth it for the unique style.
