i was so excited to recieve my lacey lace brami after ordering! i absolutely LOVE the color...BUT it runs VERY large!!! i am 5'5, 90lbs, and usually an xs. i ordered this top in an xs and although the color is absolutely beautiful, it fit very loose. still adore it though!
Runs large like others have said. I'm usually a small/x-small and the xs fits perfectly to my opinion, even though its a tiny bit roomy. I would recommend to size down. It's a gorgeous versatile piece you won't regret buying!
Comfy and pretty
I was actually surprised this fit me. I am a 36DD and based on the other reviews, I didn't think this would fit, but it did (I got a large). I'd say the cups are a little small, but not too bad. The black lace is beautiful and the cut is very flattering. Obviously, it doesn't offer any support, so I wear a black bra underneath and it's perfect!
I'm usually an xs or small in fp bras and tops, but the xs in this was huge. I am 5'5'', 110-115 lbs, and a 32 A/B. I bought it in cactus and the colour is just as shown in the picture. If you do purchase this make sure to size down at least two sizes!
Height: 5'7" (171 cm) -- Measurements: 32-22-32 (81-55-81). Inverted triangle body shape. Purchased size S in plum purple. I'm a 32A with broad shoulders and back. The S fit me around the ribcage and back but was quite loose around the waist.
I need to wear a bra under the brami because the support is terrible. Its gorgeous and the lace details are so beautiful. It's also a great price and the light blue is true to the photo. However, it is very loose and the straps are not adjustable so I have to wear stuff under it.
Great that it's larger, esp if you are A-B cup
After reading the reviews that said it ran large, I thought I'd try it since most FP bras are small on me. This one DOES fit, although the skinny straps and stretchy lace fabric don't provide any support if you have a larger bust. I am a 38DD or 38E, and I'm in my 50's, so I need some support. But I love the way that this looks - it will be perfect for tops with an open back. So I think I'm going to keep it and add a stronger strap and maybe even some boning under the cups. I hope this helps some, including the pics.
Marvelous, but RUNS LARGE
Received this brami the other day and I squealed with joy at how lovely it was. I was so disappointed I couldn't wear it right away though because I had to exchange it for a smaller size. Important: listen to the other reviews that say it runs large!!! It does! I read them and didn't listen, because I'm a medium in literally everything and I figured I'd be fine. Nope, it definitely runs large. Opt for a smaller size, don't be like me! Exchanging was a super simple process though. so thank you, Free People!
Love it about half the time
I am sort of done with conventional bras. I have been looking for something perfect like this after going through many of the longer cami's and basic undergarments. These are so beautiful I have three (thank you so much for that new purple color!!) The only issue i have run into is although the black is perfect, the blue and the purple both have straps that are a bit too long. I am going to take them all in and have them fittied with matching elastic straps..might ruin them, I dont know, but the straps are a pain and I dont know it until I'm out away from home and one of my nips pops out. :o(
