Lovely in Lilac
I love this dress. It's perfect fit is amazing on me as I wear an extra small and things tend to run lose fitting even if I buy an XS. I love this because I can tighten it with the sash around the waist. That's the best part not to mention it's flow and perfect for spring and summer wear. I love Free People's bell sleeve dresses and tops so this does the trick in that department as well! I highly recommend this dress in any size or color!
Girly twirly pretty princess
Based on the other comments I ordered up a size from my usual S to a M (I am also a little heavy for the holidays right now). The fit is pretty good but not wonderful. I got it because my boyfriend is a boob man and I have been looking for cleavage opportunities - this is one. I am able to wear a bra with it but I will probably also safety pin the cups because they gape a little when I move around. For reference I am 5'3" ~140lbs and a 34 D. One thing to note is that it isn't a wrap dress - there is a tie but the overlap of the cups is fixed and it zips up the side with no give. I also think the sleeves are a bit much but whatever. Overall it's flattering and girly. I got purple. It is purple.
I love this mini dress
I usually am an XS in FP tops and dresses. (5'3", 34b, 27 waist) however after reading the reviews I ordered up a size. First I wanted to be sure I had a bit extra length and second with other reviewers suggesting the bodice wasn't ample I figured I'd be ok. I was. The S fits like a dream. The wrap front style is very low cut and I dont mind that. The sleeves are perfect length, the waist is perfect, and the length is excellent for women who don't want a super mini. The S hits a couple inches above my knee, a little longer than the model in the photos. The purple color is true to the photos and the material is soft and classy.
So I'm usually an M in Free People & their clothes tend to fit me a little loose. I ordered this dress in the plumberry color & The medium in this dress actually fit me a little tight. The color is very pretty & it looks flattering on but my boobs were hanging out way too much in the front. I'm a C cup btw. Also, the material looks cheap & a lot of loose threads were hanging out. I'm going to end up keeping it & get it altered by my tailor since I need a purple dress for an upcoming event but I'm disappointed in the quality of this dress as well as the cleaveage situation. It just looks vulgar in the front & having to wear a cami & make significant changes to this dress does not warrant the price tag. Also, I hate these ridiculous sleeves FP puts on their dresses, c'mon it's going to snag against everything!!
So pretty!! Careful if you have a large chest
I got this in the purple/berry color, and it's just beautiful. I love the print, the fabric is nice, and the cut is flattering. Unfortunately since the bodice is fitted (it zips up the side), the Large was still a little too small for me. Couldn't get the last 2" or so to zip up. I was disappointed because it is so pretty. In other brands I normally wear an XL, with a 40DD bra size. So if you're a bit smaller than me it will look beautiful on you! It is low cut on top so you may need a cami under it. (Ignore my "no bra" boobs in the photo, I just wanted to show the cut and color.)
