Minga is an independent, women- and Indigenous-powered brand based between San Diego, CA, and Imbabura, Ecuador. Inspired by the Kichwa concept of “Minga,” which emphasizes collective effort, the brand creates high-quality, sustainable products that honor nature and traditional craftsmanship.
Founded in 2018, Minga began with a collection of bags made by a small group of women in Ecuador’s highlands. Since then, the brand has expanded to include accessories, hats, and leather goods, all created through close collaboration with artisan partners.
Minga continues to grow authentically, challenging conventional business models to stay true to its mission of environmental sustainability and community empowerment.
