Not as pictured
Disappointed. I know that leather varies but the leather on the shoes I received seemed very dull. Almost like they weren't finished before being sent out. The ones in the picture are shinier and have been polished or finished. They are also too wide. If you have a narrow foot, these aren't for you. They are way too roomy for me. I am returning them.
UGHHHH I LURVE
Traditionally a 9.5 and got a 40 and fits perfectly. They do stretch so keep that in mind for these. They are much looser now so you want these to fit tight but comfortable when you buy them. So many compliments and so comfortable now they've loosened a bit. UGHHH LURVE.
Love these shoes!
I love these shoes so much! After a few weeks of wear unfortunately the heel separated. I brought them to my local cobbler and he fixed them for me. I hope that it doesn't happen again. I have the Royale flat as well and they seem ok but I do worry about the same thing happening to them. I have many Free People shoes and this is the first one I had a problem with.

Needs a shoe horn w/ purchase
I was a little worried when trying on because they were difficult to fully fit my heel (most likely due to my wide set feet not sliding in at the correct angle)... I almost asked the store aid for a shoe horn. But once my heel was finally in they fit like a glove. However, after 5-7 wears the shoes are starting to lose structure on the heel where the shoes are meant to be stiff. I love these and find them flattering on the leg and nice enough to wear for errands and to the office, so I hope they will just stretch and not fully fall apart.
my glass slippers
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes! The kind sales rep suggested to order my size 37 (usually 7.5-8) since they stretch. I am so glad I listened because now they feel great! It takes maybe 2 wears to break them in but once you do, you're not going to take them off!
Wanted to love.
I wanted to love these. I eyed them for months before finally getting them. Upon receiving I was disappointed. I am a size 8.5-9, I have always worn 39's in FP shoes, and 9's with FP boots and such that don't have half sizes. These in 39's are a full size too large, they flop around my heels trying to walk in them. I loved the style of these in photos, they look so unique, but wearing them just didn't do it for me. Sadly, these will be returned.
So cute but they broke
I'm so bummed about these because I love wearing these around. I get a lot of compliments on them when I wear them. I just noticed that the shoe started pulling away at the sole like a lot of others have noticed as well. Its unfortunate because they are so cute and really comfortable, but they break easily.

This designer should get a medal. I love these shoes. Someone put a lot of thought into the concept. Got them in black and will get other colors. Am worried with the other posts I've read that they will break. Maybe if I get more it'll share the percentage of wear! Super comfy, look spectacular and people eye them.
I waited months before I pulled the trigger on these shoes , as I don't normally spend this much on sandals. Extremely disappointed with the quality. I wore them MAYBE 10 times before the sole completely detached making them impossible to wear any further. Only shoes I've ever had an issue with from Free People. Super bummed and was anticipating buying other colors.

cheap glue? the end of these gems
These shoes were comfortable enough to trek around, yet classy enough to wear to the office and hid my veiny feet that look beyond their age, however they did not last the summer season. As other owners have posted the leather has pulled out from base, starting at the heel. The stitching on the insole is decorative, not structural. I'm disappointed, as they did no get to much wear. If Free People can address in a future lot, please let me know as I would buy the natural version as well. On another note - I've had other FP shoes for over year, which still look great and no issues with quality - suppose I should review!
