I love this dress! The fabric is very thin - I don't agree with the other reviews that it's see-through, but you'd be brave to go braless like how it is shown in the pic! I bought it red and an unobtrusive black bra works really well. The slip that only goes halfway around seem strange at first, but it's designed to go underneath the longest split in the dress (the split goes almost up to the hip) so it does actually make sense. I love the open side panels and the XS was a perfect fit (I have a tall and straight build).
Good luck trying to wear this dress as shown (i.e. No bra) it is pretty shear and doesn't leave much to the imagination especially if you move, like bend over or twist, you can see it all. And I'm a pretty bold dresser. I layered it with a lacy bra and it looked great! But part of something I loved was the side vents and with a layer, they lose their allure. It's definetly pretty and great summer dress! I wore it on a 105 degree day and was as comfortable as one can be on such a hot day
I was really disappointed when i got this dress in the mail. First of all it is extremely cheaply made with raw edges on the fabric. In no way does it represent the quality that should come with the $128 price tag. I ordered an xs and it was huge on me, Id say it fit more like a medium. They must have pinned it on the model to get the fitted top as shown in the advertising. The slip on the inside was also weird and didn't cover the entire circumference of the skirt. I wouldn't recommend buying!
I really wanted to like this dress but the quality was lacking. The slits went to the waist in spots. And the slip was a patch of fabric sewn into the dress but it was a foot long and went 1/3 of the way around the waist. Who makes a dress with a slip that doesn't go all the way around the dress?
